Is Leo Irabor the new CDS no longer Igbo or is it only when we need Biafra that we add his hometown to Igbo nation

Dont Mind them... That's the more reason why Biafra will not come to pass. I remember very vividly when Godwin Emefiele was first appointmented as the CBN governor how they reacted.

Family / Re: How Do You Recover Money From A Dead Relative Bank Account? by Johnseli(m): 8:21am On Jul 04, 2019
nlanded:
First go to a probate registry in any high court, request for a letter of inquiry to mandate the bank to give the deceased account balance. This can be given to one or more family members of the deceased on presentation of relevant documents.

After getting the account balance, the probate registry would issue you a letter of administration.

You bring that letter to the bank and proceed to open an estate account linked to the deceased, you or any other family member would be signatories of the account. All you need to open such an account is 5k for a probate registry search.

The funds from the deceased account would be transferred to the estate account and you/family can do whatever you want with the funds.

The bank where I work you can get all the funds within 2 weeks at most.

PS: Funny how people are talking about next of kin and all, it doesnt matter here when it comes to this, the bank doesnt give a damn who you wrote on your account details as your next of kin, all they respect is the letter of administration brought from a probate registry by any family member. Next of kin on paper is just for formalities.

What if one does not know the account details of the deceased?
What are the likely procedures to be taken?

SIMPLYkush:
I and the good people of nairaland wishes them a disastrous, chaos filled and troubled marriage life....
Their kids shall have no peace, bad news shall never depart from that home

And you think that God in his infinite mercies and Kindness answer's this kind of prayer?

We know say your Papa don fail you by not hustling hard and now we are begging you to work hard and make money for your children such that they and their own children will enjoy it even after you have gone.

This was exactly what Dangote's great grand father(Alh Alhassan) did and today the grand children and their own childen too, through their own hard work, contacts and connection made for them by their father's are relishing continuosly on the sweat of that great man called Alhassan.

My dear, do not be a hater rather pray and work hard and i promise you, God will see you through.

Please! Don't fail your Children.

Thank you.

cheesy

Is this the new strategy adopted and used by Nigerians to gain cheap public recognition? Everyone now has a brother in the military. How can people be this wicked? Why playing with the lives of our lost sissies?

Heroes don't die on the battlefield. Weaklings do. Moreover, the FG will compensate the families of the deceased. So what's the fuss all about?

So where does heroes die?
If you had nothing to say why didn't just keep quiet.

That's so childish of Sowumi...

I am a Yoruba man and we are not brought up to speak to elders like that

Even though some South-South people will be happy because they are PDP and have anything against Buhari or APC...

But let's call a spade a spade you don't talk to an elder like that irrespective of the region or political affiliations.
and

And how exactly did he talked to him?.
He was trying to remind Amaechi that he was part and parcel of the so called PDP miss rule.

I swear to God we really have greedy and selfish leaders who are also extremely clueless as to how to move the country forward.

When i moved to USA...i saw firsthand the difference between an industrialised country and a third world.

When you read it in textbooks you wont really understand how advanced and how backward we really are.

They have machines for everything such they can produce anything in large quantities and quickly too.

Just one simple policy of removing import duties for "production machines and health care equipment" for the next 8 years will create massive employment for millions of Nigerians because small business owners and medium scale manufacturers can up their game.

I have a south african friend who told me there is no import duty for Agriculture equipment in his country.

But Nigerian government na lie. They will promise to create create employment but they do not understand that its not their job to create jobs.

..all they need to do is to deliverarely create and sustain an enabling environment for entreprenuers and investors to create those jobs by opening amd expanding their various businesses.

A favourable climate for business is one in which we have the following:

1. Adequate security of lives and property...not one where soldiers, policemen and herdsmen and cultists are killing citizens indicriminately.

2. Stable banking system where the banks are healthy enough to loan to the real sector and so citizens can borrow to build their own houses or buy flats in a residential estate.

3. Removing import duties on equipment designed for manufacturing, cultivating crops, building houses and roads for a certain period.

4. Have a solid tranport system..( Road, Rail, and Air and water)...for the safe ease and quick movement of goods...a good road into a deserted area opens up that area for reaidential and commercial activity

5. Transperent judicial system where justice is not for sale to the highest bidders but is swift and also fair .

6. Massive building of world class craft schools in nearly every major and minor city...where anyone can be trained in a specific craft with the most modern tools availabe.

On graduation they are issued two things 1. A Federal business license that can be verified by any customer on a public database 2. Start up capital of 500k....( Try this in the north and see if it wont get all those almajiris off the streets.)

The effect of quality training and licencing is that quality of work and uniformity/standard will become the norm. Instead of the "anything goes" that is obtainable now.
