Please gurus in the house, is it advisable to submit further documents(e.g SOP, Siblings birth certificate etc) after one has submitted an application online despite the fact that they have not been requested by the VO, or should one wait until they are requested?

I can relate and understand the frustration. But u know, when it comes to immigration related issues, you have to be very careful so you don't end up messing up things. These folks are psychologist and know how we Nigerians go about migrating to developed countries. So the fish out people who are genuine and create avenues for different intentions. eg, study route, the express entry route etc.

Alternatively, you can think about what you truly want, start now to build atleast one year activity in it even while you are studying in UI. find out how you can be relevant here in Nigeria proffering solutions, what your plans would be after study and you MUST truly show passion in that area atleast with some evidence and not just writting. Don't forget the know you now.
Hello sir, I sent you and email, please did you see it

I have to disagree with you there, he did that to himself and should not blame the agent.

It was not done without his knowledge and he is the beneficiary.

True they say 'a prophet is not honoured in his town ' A friend once told me to go with my employment history and my dad's. My dad had 5 million him is account why I have 2million from saving part of my salary. I personally told the agent to use our bank statement, he told me that the money won't be enough, he said he will use somebody else's bank statement that 'IT DOESN'T MATTER ' I believed him because I thought he had been in the business for long. It's really a long story my gurus. I told my agent that a friend of mine told me once my bank statement is able to cover first year tuition and living expenses that I'm good to apply, but he said no that is not true. I kept on believeing him while disregarding my friend's advice because in my mind I said ' He can never know much about applying for visa' .
My candid advice to those having the thought of applying through an agent is this please disregard that thought and DO IT YOURSELF,
if along the application process you are having some doubt you can always come here to ask questions from this forum I believe our Gurus here will gladly help. Thanks and remain blessed.

..before you thank him let me ask you this..

Did the agent included employment details in your first application and are you planning to use the real employment details in your next application?
No, he didn't. It was only stated that I work in a certain company...But now I want to use my real employment details and my dad's. To be sincere, I knew about this whole plan, but I never knew the consequences could be this disastrous.

You are soiling your reputation here with this questionable advise.
like I said before, you would see it wasn't my fault at the first place...so since when has seeking advice to remedy a situation as critical as mine becomes a problem?

He can still be your employer but not your sponsor. So there is still nothing here that should be an issue. Fill exactly what you filled in your last application. This is why it is always advisable to be consistent with PROOF especially dealing with immigration issues. If the actually have filled your details in the GCMS database, it will be there for a long time and will be use as reference for other of your application even when you get pass the study permit. So make sure your info are same, if there are any changes, back it up with proof.

Like i mentioned about the sponsor, there is no issue in using a different sponsor after using another in an earlier application.
Thank you sir

Coming clean by stating he doesn't know the first sponsor ?? That's not advisable, there should be other ways around it, you won't be first to change sponsor, just think of a good reason.
hmm...I get your point, but my problem is that I need employment history to back up my claims. Like on the former application it was stated that the man is my cousin and also my employer, on the real sense I work in a government parastatal and have been working for 6 years plus now. In some of the documents my agent submitted online there was some sponsorship declaration which says I work in company 'A' and that I have been working for five years...

This is serious oo! Explain what happened on your next application, in your SOE. Explain to the VO your need to come clean this time by taking control of your life. They like honesty and reward it.
Thank you very much I do really appreciate for your kind advice.

Please gurus in the house I seriously in need of your advice on how to go about reapplying. In my first application I used someone else's bank statement who posed to be my sponsor and employer though I have not met with him. My agent who has travelled out of the country was the brain behind all these, now I'm left on struggle all by myself. My problem here is that I want to use my bank statement as well as my dad's, I am having fear of contradiction...

That's the only email address of the accra visa office known to the public. There is usually an auto generated response once you send an email through it. If you didn't get that, then you may want to try again maybe monday. Possible their mail box is filled at the moment. Nobody can say for sure.

Please, for someone that has been refused visa and wants to reapply after getting his/her gcms is it advisable for the person to change some information when reapplying?

@Aallizzwellwole,

This is not what i mean. This is the letter that was sent to you when your application was refused. The GCMS note is different from this. It is a report on why your application was refused usually summarized by the officer who reviewed your application. It is also not sent to the applicant at a time of refusal. Thankfully, applicant still have access to this report through the freedom of information act. You only need to order for it, check the first page of this page like i mentioned and you will find the link.

Please, is it advisable for someone to do some changes on his/her previous online application when reapplying for student visa after being refused in the past and the person has requested for GCMS? Why I'm actually asking if because, one of my friends applied for TRV through an agent who wrongly entered his parents and siblings birthdays; now he wants to do everything by himself.
