Good day to you all.
Please how long does information stay in CIC data base? the reason why I'm asking is because I entered my siblings date of birth wrongly when I applied for student visa in the year 2016.
I want to apply again now, do I have to bring it up in my LOE or I should forget and fill the correct ages next time?

Travel / Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by johnsonm2g: 8:40pm On Aug 22
No, you cannot use that as proof of fund while applying for a tourist visa. Blocked account is mainly for academic purposes especially for those who want to school in Germany.
evergreen9:

You know what a blocked account is? its used to show proof of fund, I am asking if it would suffice for the proof of fund requirements needed for traveling as a tourist.

They do. But you've to present a watertight application before the consulate

You can go there as a tourist if that's the case, using visitor visa

Education / Re: The medical students and aspirants thread by johnsonm2g: 8:16am On Jul 31
How is this possible?
aboking:
Bsu has graduated 3 sets of Doctors. I'm a medical student there, don't argue what u don't know.
Education / Re: The medical students and aspirants thread by johnsonm2g: 8:13am On Jul 31
Please, are you a student of AAU or BSU?
aboking:
Be focused and forget the number of students in your class, I'm a medical student of AAU too and to be honest with you I enjoy the competition because it makes me go extra miles in my reading. Tell yourself as from today that you are a medical student as you are in first year now, read hard and success will be yours.
Education / Re: The medical students and aspirants thread by johnsonm2g: 8:09am On Jul 31
Since you had first degree, why didn't you use DE?
aboking:
I started medicine and surgery at the age of 35yrs after first degree and it wasn't through DE but utme and today am doing very well. Age should be the last thing for you to consider when you are determine to do something

Au79:

hi...am a final year medical student of the usmanu donfodiyo university and would be very pleased to answer all inquiries concerning udus/uduth sokoto and also correct some hilarious misinformation about udus and northern unis in general
admission into udus is mainly by merit and once u beat the stipulated cutoff for that year, you are 99.9% sure of gaining admission regardless of you state of origin( am from delta state and knew no one in sokoto wheen i was admitted and in my class alone, we have people from uyo, calabar, edo, kogi, imo, anambra and enugu and all other northern states whether catchment or not)..postume was(temporarily) suspended 2014 so that means the only criterion use is jamb..just score above cutoff and in addition be among the top two in your state
for the tuition fee, it ranges between 52 to 56k but u can check the udus website to get the accurate fees foe each level
some other info u need to know is that
1. sokoto as a state is relatively peaceful, more peaceful than almost all the southern state and as a matter of fact udus always brag about the popular nickname given to her as the " most peaceful university"
2. though the uni is very concerned about decent dressing, its important to remind u that it a federal uni and so all religious practices are practiced peacefully and freely...
3. the current HOD of physiology, pediatrics , surgery and so many other departmental top profs are all Christians so the notion that is a a rebelliously bias school should not be there
4. the scul just started her dentistry program
5. sokoto state has extremes of weather, when its harmattan its very cold nd when its hot, its really hot
wish all aspirants the best

You've to do jamb regularisation before obtaining Jamb DE. form. Go to Jamb office in your state and enquire on the processes of Jamb regularisation, I sure they will guide you through.

I'm sorry, I don't know if they accept ND. However, there are some schools that accept ND. According to jamb brochure, I discovered LAUTECH accept SLT ND and admit applicants directly to 200level.You can go to the school and enquire or look for student from there...
