Predstan: Can someone else sponsor my education in France apart from my parent. The person is ready to foot the bills of living expenses while my parent will be paying the tuition what I will advise you do is to tell the person to transfer the estimated living expenses for 1 academic year to your account, if the person's really willing to sponsor you. In addition to the transfer living, the person should also back up with a letter stating he/she has transferred the said amount accompanying this will be the person's statement of account. Having said all that, since you said your dad will be paying your tuition, ensure he pays part of the tuition before applying to the embassy (just saying to be on a safe side) |

whycaress: Good day great people...I have admission in France,a year in Computer Vision,i want to ask about the visa application process,if i would need to legalize any of my certificate in the Ministry of Education and Foreign Affairs in Abuja or not...the list of documents i would be needing for Visa at embassy and if someone else apart my parents can be my sponsor. Thanks Congrats. You don't need to legalize any document with MOE. The documents you must submit to secure student visa are: 1.Your completed online visa application form 2.your admission letter 3.Your CVEC payment receipt 4.International Passport 5.Proof of part or full payment of your tuition fee ( Although it's not compulsory, However, I would advise you pay part.) 6.your Statement of account for 3 months ( that's if you're sponsoring yourself or better still that of your sponsor's) 7.Flight reservation ticket 8.Proof of accommodation 9.Travel Insurance for 3 months at least When you are done gathering the document, you go to campusfrance for interview after which, you go to the consolar's office VFS for submission, it's possible to submit that same day after the interview at campusfrance. As regards who can be your sponsor; anybody can sponsor you if the person can prove your relationship him/her. However, it's always advisable for a close relative with same surname to stand as sponsor. In case there is any other document(s) to be submitted which i didn't include, I believe other gurus in this forum can as well list them. |

Predstan: Does paying half of tuition guarantee Visa approval. Can i get a refund if visa is not granted. About the accommodation, do I have to pay upfront too? Paying half tuition doesn't guarantee visa issuance, however, with proper documents to back your application I'm certain you'll get it. For the tuition refund, you can contact your school for if they have any refund policy, I'm sure they will have, although you'll be charged for the refund. For the accommodation, you can pay for 3 months starting from the commencement date of your intended programme. |

Predstan: Hi Guys. I was admitted for Masters program in robotics and Computer Visions with my HND. Program is to start by September 13 2019. I want to know how to apply for Visa and all.
I also want to know if I have to pay tuition fee (which is 1500euro in a year) before applying for Visa. Do I also have to pay for accommodation before applying. My aunt is my sponsor, I don’t know if this is acceptable at the French Embassy. What’s the minimum balance required for Student application. Congregations on your admission. For the tuition, you can pay half, try contact your school and enquire about the payment options. However, it'll be nice if you can pay half the tuition and the CVEC fee. For the accommodation, you need start searching for accommodation through your school if possible, try and contact your school if they can help you with accommodation, if they're unable, there are so many sites through which you can search for accommodation. |

TheNoble007: My brother, I do not want to demoralize you. It will be very difficult for your grade This is because, people with over- excellent application will apply, and some programs can have over 1000 applicants each for perhaps 20-25 openings. However, nothing is impossible with God. I am a christian and I believe in the power of grace or some may call it luck. My advice is this, seek for valuable experience like research, write exams like TOEFL, GRE to boost your portfolio. Spread your tentacles even to US and Canada schools. I wish you the very best of luck. Thank you so much for the words of advice I really appreciate. |
