Yeah.... I studied Physics education. Currently, am still a corps member hoping to join the teaching profession soon. My love for teaching has no bound. My teaching experience started as far back as when I was in secondary school. As soon as I left secondary sch, even without higher education, I applied to teach physics in a school not far from my domicile. On the day of interview, I met three other applicants with higher qualifications than I had, waiting to be interviewed. We were all asked to teach SS3 students any topics we so desired. After the interview session, the principal hinted me that I was the best candidate, and asked for my credentials, but I had only 'O' level certificate then. he was astonished, to say the least, when he learnt that I just concluded my secondary education. Though he was a bit reluctant to hire me he promised not to disclose the fact to anyone, even to the proprietor. And warned me not to disclose to the students my qualifications. This is how my teaching career began. Since then, I have taught in more than three secondary schools. Hoping to take up more teaching jobs after my NYSC and apply for advance degree in science education area. |

Harbosede02: Itz means playin hard 2 get or tryin knw d guy beta..guys pretends a lot u knw..and gurls do dis 2 test d guys patience.. Alright madam, but seriously it's annoying having to wait for a longer time. Not all guys have such patience, even those with good intentions.. Anyway, it's not bad if the sole purpose is to get to know the guy well, but if it is to play hard to get, hmmm the guy may assume she is not into him and go for the next fish waiting to be caught. So, ladies should try to be reasonable, not making guys to wait for eternity before saying yes |
Hey people, am just curious to know why ladies, after wooing them, tell their suitors to hold on, as they are still thinking about it. This is very annoying! What are they thinking? I believe a lady already knows whether she likes a guy or not in that moment a guy approaches her. Why is it taking them so long to say "YES" or "NO"? I had similar experience with my ex. After wooing her, she kept me hanging for a while that I got so annoyed that I had to pretend i didn't give a damn about her reply. She noticed this and later called me she that had accepted my overture. Likewise, the girl am trying to get now is saying the same thing --- thinking. Hope our ladies in the house will do justice to this. |

My dream get as e be oo. Several times in my dream I would see myself flying ( even without wing) from one place to another. Often, I would have this sort of dream after I finished exams. I remember distinctly after I finished my final year project I had same dream. Me thinks it means freedom from academic related stress, since I always have such dream after exams or any accomplishments. What do you think? |

Outside school environment, I've met a number of OAU graduates, and they are not as academically good as you guys hype it here. Unilorin grads often show a high level of competence in their subject area than OAU graduates. However, in term of activism, i give it to OAU; they are unparalleled. |
FOr some of us who are not well to do and desire a post graduate program, is any schorlaship available. If yes, what are the requirement? Thanks |
Pipsland78: Thank you very much sir for this question. Yes, the mother's gene is the dominant one because she's Igbo.. You are an embarrassment to this nation |
I am 6.4'' inches tall and slim. Most short ladies usually complain that they feel shorter each time they are with me. I am finding it difficult to get a date from them. I really like them short; so that the equation will balance when we av children. Don't want to marry a girl around my height and give birth to an electric POLE. Where are you at, my lovely shortie? |
yormite: Chai !!!An undergraduate studying physics edu am afraid of what d future wl bring and life outside the gates of olabisi onabanjo university i oh God help me oooooo. My brother, you are not alone. I studied physics edu as well, and now corps member. My advice for you is get a very high CGPA now that you are still in school and that will give you an edge. I believe any brilliant physics edu graduate can fit in any where; so, do not be afraid of the future just because the Op listed you course of study among them. It's not just education, it's Physics education. Physics helps you to become analytic and think critically about a problem in order to proffer solutions, while education helps improve your communication skills-- all these skills are needed in the labour market. |
I remember my university days in unilorin. I never experience strike, even for a day. Anyway, I pray FG grant ASUU's request oo. |
Is there any serving corps member in the who got the invite also? Please let us knw |
akuji: If you wish to study abroad, go to the university websites and check their funding section for the subject you are interested in. Check if you are eligible, and then apply within the deadline. Remember...foreign education is not like nigeria where money can buy anything. You have to stick to deadlines and meet the eligibility criterias. Good luck!. Thanks for such an invaluable advice. I never know that it's that easy. I will start checking for any available opportunity, henceforth. |

Hello my fellow nairaland users, I am a serv ing batch A corps member. I read physics education (CGPA: 4.14). My desire is to go for higher degrees in pure physics, but no money to actualise that. I believe there is a God's sent out there who will show me the way to actualising my dream. If you have any valuable things to offer me either in form of advice or otherwise, please do no hesitate to do so. Thanks |
