You are half smart. So properties were only destroyed in Lagos? The more you try to look smart, the more you expose yourself. Tell the North to get ready because every rejoin has woken up to your parasitic tendencies, you will be put in check soon Vaughanlanrewaj: This is not about a race or tribalism, it is the tyranny of a few bad eggs giving a whole race problem everywhere.
The disgrace metted to The Former Deputy Senate President is an insult to real patriotic Nigerians and Germany should not have allowed those culprits go away.
It is that kind of indulgence that made some of them call for burning of a whole city and it happened and they and their supporters desire not to be held accountable. These things are wrong and it is demotivating peaceful, law abiding and patriotic citizens.
Real people are hurting seriously by their sabotage of this country and enough is enough.
This is not about tribalism. A bad Hausa is as bad Nigerian citizen as a bad Yoruba as Nigerian citizen and others.
People incited the carnage in Lagos and the casualties of the carnage are real and hurting. They are the law abiding Nigerians and they deserve justice.
All these countries should cooperate with the Federal Government of Nigeria in getting these people back home to face justice.
People should stop hurting innocent people because they have access to the social media.

Is there a difference between the reason why ojukwu went to war with Nigeria and restructuring? And a particular Southern region fought against the East? Restructuring kill you. The time for restructuring has passed. Nigeria should be splitted in 6 region. Everyone should answer his name tollyboy5: Young man calm down. Had it been the SE joined the restructuring struggle. The south would have spoken with one mind but no. They use Biafra to complicate things |
Politics › Re: How PDP Is Losing It In The Southeast. by Jonathan39: 11:48am On Nov 12, 2020 |
You know nothing about Nigerian politics. So rigging is a joke to you? Even yardua was shocked by the kind of election fraud that brought him to power. No Matter who you vote for, the electoral body then will always have the final say, social media is now checkmating some of INEC excesses Eastlink: The SE are the cause of their political predicaments today. They lost the plot after the death of Zik. No matter how the pro-Biafran dumb bandwagon may want to paint Zik, he made sure the Igbos got their fair share in the power sharing equation. Any wonder why since 1993 no Igbo have come close to attaining the Presidential seat. Following the PDP stupidly was a political mistake that has come back to hunt Igbos.
Seeing that the PDP had no future for them from 1999 -2003, they should have joined any formidable party to send them packing. But that was never done. In 2003 when the opportunity presented itself they foolishly played the southern game by supporting Obasanjo instead of a Buhari with a SE running mate. They had the opportunity with Buhari/Okadigbo ANPP but cowardly supported Obasanjo. What did Obasanjo gift them in return, political death? The same Obasanjo is the godfather of MASSOB who has now metamorphosed to IPOB, a monster currently ravaging the Igbo nation.
The opportunity arose again in 2007 with Buhari / Umezuoke but still our people ignorantly sold their birthright supporting Yar’adua / GEJ. Though Yar’adua was fair to everyone, but fairness and sympathy votes don’t count in Nigeria.
The last opportunity came in 2015 when Buhari toured the SE for Igbo alliance. A zone that had stood with him since 2001, but what he saw made him weep. Seeing that he couldn't get it he looked to the SW. This was where Ndigbo shot themselves in the foot. Even when the likes of Rochas with his APGA faction along with Ogbonnaya Onu ANPP rallied Ndigbo to join the APC, the wicked PDP politicians of Igbo extraction called them outcast and continued dining with the PDP. What should have been a bargaining chip in the APC was sold on the alter of greed. By foolishly standing with GEJ in 2015, the SE sounded their political death knell.
Well, It’s never too late than never. The SE must leave the PDP in drove, either starting a new party or seek the fellowship of the APC. A people must have self-worth and not be easily swayed by emotions. This is the lesson. |

Umahi will not get half of the vote Peter got in the East. Did you know why PDP won almost all senatorial position and rep in the East in 2019. I still support Umahi PDP should zone it's presidency to East or all major Eastern PDP strong men will move to APC let's see how PDP will win Presidential election is they lose their strongest block which is the south East OfficialAwol: Umahi is just being a politician.
He should understand that PDP needs to be more strategic than emotional in 2023. So it's not a question of who deserves the PDP presidential ticket but a question of who will win the presidency for PDP.
But I understand he must be raising this dust to cut deals with PDP. At least he wants to be assured of VP position.
Baba is scared that PDP is most likely to represent the Atiku/Obi ticket in 2023.
He wants Obi dropped and himself picked.
Believe me, if Atiku had picked him 2019, he would have moved heaven and hell to ensure they win.
I hate self centered politicians like Umahi. |

Anybody can call himself a pastor, only God has the right to judge them SpecialAdviser: I suggest the Christendom establish a supreme council in Nigeria made of top ranking Bishops, Catholic bishops, Anglican, Pentecostal and Evangelical. You are somehow right, when people see money in it, they will definitely venture into it. Demand and supply angelfallz: You forgot where i said "mentality." Without a change in mentality the south can't move forward in terms of farming. And if you have ever worked with people that have a certain way of thinking you would know how difficult it is to change people's mentality. |

Politics › Re: Darah: Threat To Withdraw Northern Food Supplies To Rivers, A Welcome Challenge by Jonathan39: 8:56pm On Nov 09, 2020 |
It will not. Everything the North produce is produced in the South. Some farm produce take 6months to harvest while some 9months. Only cassava takes your to 2years, to the best of my knowledge. Without the onions from the North, the south will do fine. Most of the food consumed in Nigeria is imported, some don't know that angelfallz: The first bolded, Haba, that is a very wrong mentality. That mentality also goes to explain why the south is behind the north in terms of farming. We in the south look down on farming and see farming as a dirty job meant for only villagers and poor people. A nation that can't feed itself can not survive.
The second bolded, Lol, if only it were that easy. Years of farming neglect can't be wiped out in a month or year. Why? Mentality, mentality, mentality. Our mentality is wrong, so first and foremost our mentality towards farming must change before, the farming itself would start.
So, that means the withdrawal of foodstuff supplies by the north is going to bite us hard, for years. |
Politics › Re: Darah: Threat To Withdraw Northern Food Supplies To Rivers, A Welcome Challenge by Jonathan39: 8:37pm On Nov 09, 2020 |
The reasoning of some of you Northerners baffles me, so during a war that you don't know your next location, you go to farm? Like you plant crop today and harvest tomorrow right? That's how it is done in the North? Una go get sense by force YouAreFinished: I never knew every square inch of land in the South East became a battlefield hence you couldn't farm and rather starved to death |
Politics › Re: Darah: Threat To Withdraw Northern Food Supplies To Rivers, A Welcome Challenge by Jonathan39: 8:35pm On Nov 09, 2020 |
Because we have other jobs we do for a living, when the need for farming comes, we will gladly accept it. Necessity they say is the mother of all invention. They should hold onions and see south export onions next year angelfallz: Famine hitting the northeast in 6 months is not relevant. We in the south that don't experience famine, why are we behind the north when it comes to farming?
That question should trouble you. |
Politics › Re: Darah: Threat To Withdraw Northern Food Supplies To Rivers, A Welcome Challenge by Jonathan39: 8:19pm On Nov 09, 2020 |
Do you know why famine is likely to hit Northeast in 6months time? Same unrest. How do you farm in a region a war is going on? Illitrates everywhere angelfallz: The bolded, A lot actually. Onions and Tomatoes for a start.
Southern Nigeria is really poor in farming compared to the north. That is a fact.
During the civil war after the Military cut off food supply to the eastern region, the war was effectively won. And we have still not learnt the lessons from that unfortunate time. |
