Its not bad to get it b4 d interview, as someone said Herr that his/her VO was impressed to have seen the travel insurance on d interview day.
On the flip, it will be a loss if the candidate did not come out successful.

I just checked the status of my visa application, you too can check that by drafting an email to "zzVISABVA@bva.bund.de"
with the subject line: status of student visa. This
approach will give you instantaneous reply. You must
send the following information in the mail including
surname, firstname, Passport number, Date of birth,
Date of visa interview, Place of interview.

Thanks for the support. I've topped up yesterday via a friend in Germany n waiting for it to reflect. I submitted d initial blocking confirmation I got with statement of account showing 10,290 though.

Did you fund with exactly 10,236 or 10,425? Because when I funded 10,236 I didn't get any confirmation until I topped up with 189 making it 10,425 then I received my confirmation. So check again on your fintiba account if there's an outstanding amount to be topped up.

Thanks for your response. I did this already but Fintiba didnt provide me with the new one because they haven't changed it on their website until dis morning. I have a deadline of 31-08-2019 by the embassy to submit my blocking confirmation.

Write Fintiba to adjust to the new blocked amount for you. It's not enough to just put the money in. They clearly stated in the mail to inform them if the new amount affects you so they can adjust for those who had opened with the previous one.

Good morning friends.

I have a little concern. I funded the 10,236euros but fintiba hadn't changed the monthly amount to 853/month as at 15-08-2019, hence my blocking confirmation document stated 8,640euro. So I submitted it that way along with statement of account stating the 10,236euros.

All I want to know is if there is any issues with this, or am I meant to attach any other thing to it.
Please help me with ur thoughts.

Wrote to the local office in Germany on 20th August asking about the status, they replied on 26th that everything is done and in Lagos. I wrote to German embassy in Lagos on 26th, no reply till date.
Approval mail: August 28th

Great, @ayooluwa45, check ur mail and confirm when u applied, if its before 16th of July then u r safe. Else, just cancel and reapply.
