'It is Good to be Good.

As a Passerby this morning along Capital City Secondary School road,Awka while driving to work, I saw a little boy crying profusely while his Mother walks helplessly along with him, I had to slow down and asked what the problem is?

The mother answered that her son was driven away from school due to tuitions and was not allowed to sit for exam this morning.

Behold, I was moved to tears and drove them in my car to the School where i managed to sort out the issue of payment and at the same time was inspired to cater for the Boy's academics till he enters University.

The School authority were astonished by such gesture of a passerby like me .

Such inspirations of doing good to people is normal to my lifestyle, these are one of the qualities I inculcated from Ohamadike.

The pictures are that of me and the boy with the mother, and the Teacher.

Really it is Good doing Good'

'He was taking a walk on the street and at the same time checking ongoing works on some construction sites in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital on Friday, 2nd December, 2016. So here we are in Okesa, in pix 1 he bought banana and bottled groundnuts from this woman, in pix 2 he paid, in pix 3 and 4 he ate some, then from pixs 5 upwards he started sharing the banana amongst these kids who won't stop shouting Oshoko! Oshoko!!, Oshoko!!!.

We all trekked to the first gate of the governor’s office, officers at the gate attempted to send the kids back but the governor overruled them. So we got to the second gate those ones tried stopping them,in fact, to them it was strange, again the governor bailed them out, so they followed the governor to the site of the next project he was to supervise.

He lined them up and 'settled' them according to their ages, they went home fulfilled, very fulfilled.

Tomorrow, for sure they will have stories to tell, I imagine one of them say, in those days, when they were constructing that overhead bridge, I followed Fayose to the governor’s office and he did so so so...

Good job EFCC

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have arrested an oil vessel off-loading products suspected to be Automated Gas Oil, AGO, along Eagle Island in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The arrest, made on Thursday December 1, was made possible by high-level intelligence and surveillance by the EFCC. Men and officers of the NNS Pathfinder, Naval Base, Port Harcourt also offered professional support and facilitation of the operation. The vessel: H.W. BECHMAN, an oil tanker, with Registration Number: 4014030, was caught off-loading products into a Tank Farm housed in the premises of NEPAS Limited in the Iwofe area of Port Harcourt. It was the first- ever oil vessel interception made by the EFCC since its reception.

Preliminary investigations by the EFCC showed that the oil vessel carried products loaded in twelve( 12) compartments. Seven of the compartments had already been offloaded into the Tank Farm at the point of arrest. Products were still found in five other compartments. The products were suspected to have been sourced from the proceeds of pipeline vandalisation in the creeks of the Niger Delta. Operators of the vessel escaped on sighting the EFCC operatives, escaped in a speed boat but a quick response and support by men of the NNS Pathfinder ensured that the oil vessel was not moved.

Several documents were recovered from the vessel and further investigations In the case, are on- going.

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has debunked media report suggesting that he was leaving the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for another party, saying; “Such report is a figment of the writers’ imagination.”

In a statement issued on Thursday by his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, Governor Fayose described the report as clear mischief and total representation of what he meant.

The governor said; “Whatever the PDP might be going though now, what is certain is that alignment of political forces cannot be ruled out if Nigeria must be rescued from the hands of the All Progressives Congress (APC) that has inflicted so much sufferings on Nigerians. However, that does not in any way suggests that I plan to dump the PDP.”

He said any sensible politician will be futuristic and will not want to be caught unawares, adding that “the fate suffered in Ondo State by the party and its candidate, Mr Eyitayo Jegede is a pointer to the extent these cabal in the APC can go to foist a one party state on Nigeria and we will be well prepared to counter whatever sinister move they will make here in Ekiti in 2018.”

Governor Fayose, who expressed hope that the courts will ressolve all the crises in the party, said; “Legal impediments created by those carrying out the assignment of the APC cabal to kill the PDP are being resolved now and by virtue of the last week Wednesday judgment of the Appeal Court, Ali Modu Sheriff and his co-travellers that are claiming to be our party’s National Working Committee (NWC) have been shown the way out.

“We will now wait to see the next step their sponsors will propel them to take. We will wait to see whether they will be instructed to disobey the Appeal Court judgment and continue with their dance of shame or they will now be honourable enough to declare for the APC that they have been working for openly.”

Speaking further, Governor Fayose said; “Like I said, we will continue to study the political situation, praying that God, who directs the affairs of men will dislodge those that are holding the PDP by the jugular because of their resolve to turn Nigeria to a one party state.

“As politicians that are futuristic, we will continue to play the game left, right and centre and I can assure the people of Ekiti that their future will be secured by making sure that those who made the State unstable politically and held it down for eight years economically will not be allowed to manipulate themselves into power again.”

A first time visitor will most likely see this as a university campus. But this is one of the many new schools the education loving governor of Imo State has built for the State. Governments in Nigeria are accused of lacking maintenance culture, but not for Owelle Rochas Okorocha. He keeps maintaining the projects in the State to ensure they serve the people better.

NB: I personally called my cousins in Owerri.They told me that the school is a primary school.Is there anybody in Owerri who can help us confirm the authenticity of the news?
