'THE FALL OF CORRUPT EMPIRE IN BAUCHI STATE!
The likes of Isa Yuguda wrecked their states and erected monumental edifice that are similar to ancient palaces. Yuguda left Bauchi State with a debt profile of N57,652,771,752.74 and yet walking freely with his head high feeling like a king. Shamefully, the mansions built from the stolen loots are now being seized by EFCC. As you can see from the photos, the Bauchi mansion is under the custody of EFCC and all the rest of the houses in Abuja, Kano and other places are about to be confiscated and he is likely going to end in jail. What a shameful end!
It was speculated that the silence coming from Newspapers is as a result of his partnership with some of the prominent media houses.

REPORT REACHING US CONFIRMED THAT YUGUDA SOLD HIS MANSION IN KANO JUST YESTERDAY. BUT, CITIZENS ARE SUSPICIOUS OF THE TRANSACTION TO BE A FAKE ARRANGEMENT TO DISTRACT EFCC FOR INVESTIGATING HIM. Abians resident in the Diaspora have equally ordered 1,000 school shoes for free distribution this Christmas.

HOW FG IS PROMOTING MANUFACTURING AND LOCAL PRODUCTION IN NIGERIA, BY VP OSINBAJO

*Innoson, Shangdong firms of China to partner in $1B foreign investment plan within 12-24 months

In the next few years the Buhari administration would continue to actively pursue a plan for the massive manufacturing and production of goods in the country as much as possible, according to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, SAN.

In that effort, the Federal Government will ally with business interests who can facilitate the plan, Prof. Osinbajo disclosed, adding that “manufacturing in Nigeria is a primary objective of this government, it is a work we intend to do in the next few years to manufacture and produce in Nigeria as much as we can.”

The Vice President was speaking today at a meeting in the Presidential Villa with a delegation from the Innoson Group and some Chinese business interests including Shangdong Broadcasting Group led by Chief Innocent Chukwuma, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Innoson Group.

He explained that it is because of the administration’s commitment to spur manufacturing and local production in the country that the initiative of Innoson Group to work with Chinese partners is being addressed as a “strategic collaboration.”

Innoson Group is collaborating with three Chinese firms: Shangdong Broadcasting Group, and Shangdong Cable Interactive Services regarded as leading biggest TV operators, and Inspur Group, said to be China’s foremost leader in Cloud Computing solution suppliers and IT service provider.

According to Chief Chukwuma, the Chinese firms have decided to invest about $1B in the Nigerian economy within the next 12-24 months.


The initiative, the VP said “is bound to yield very good fruits and do very well,” adding also that the timing is right “as we are at a point that we must engage technological solutions in our development plans.”

Prof. Osinbajo then explained the importance of competition and competitive pricing in such an effort. “In all we try to do, we believe there must be competition, competitive prices and plans,” the Vice President noted, believing that the Chinese firms must have taken that into consideration as well.

Earlier, Chief Chukwuma detailed the investments intended by the Chinese firms to include:

*a credit facility of $300m for local production and supply of 5-8 million Set-Top Boxes for the Digital Switch-Over in broadcasting in the country to meet a target date of June 2017.

*an investment of $100m to establish technology-based Direct-To-Home Digital Bing Television Stations.

*a further investment of $600m for Smart City CCTV camera and IT solutions for taxation, both using Cloud Computing, and E-Education IT solutions with big data centers in all federal universities and polytechnics in the country.

According to the Chairman of Innoson Group, “every plan to make a success of all these projects have been concluded between our two parties.”

Responding the Vice President stated: “we are looking forward to working with you in the next few months to realize the plans that you have laid out.”

The Deputy Minister of the Communist Party in Shandong Province and Chairman of the Shandong Broadcasting Group, Mr Liu Baoju, and Mr. Huang Gang, Senior Vice President of Inspur Group were among dignitaries in the business delegation at the meeting.

Women are wired to do more   
---Justice Nyesom-Wike

Wife of the Rivers State Governor , Justice Eberechi Suzzette Nyesom-Wike has stated women's positive  contributions form the platform for  the  development of the society .

Justice Nyesom-Wike also  said that women are divinely wired to  do more at all times  for societal growth and stability .

She spoke on Sunday at the 10th Biennial Diocesan Women's Guild Conference Thanksgiving Service of Anglican Diocese of the Niger Delta North at Saint Thomas Anglican Church in Diobu, Port Harcourt  .

She said as a woman she belongs to all rooms because a woman's  activities  cannot be restricted as the society needs these contributions  for progress.

"All women have been through a lot as they strive to build the society . Our contributions  to  societal development  cannot be underestimated .

"I belong to the kitchen, I belong to the living room and I belong to every room created by God. So also other women. We are created by God to do more. In my own case as a judicial officer, I also belong to the courtroom. Other women belong to different rooms, depending  on  their professional  calling".

She added: " Women  are very important  to  the development of any community. They form a larger percentage  of  the  workforce that keeps the society "

Commenting on the person of the Provincial/ Diocesan President of Women's Guild of Anglican Diocese of the Niger Delta North , Mrs Beatrice Kattey , the Wife of the Rivers State Governor said she is a perfect  example of a Christian Woman .

Justice Nyesom-Wike  called on the  women  of Rivers State  to continue to  pray for Governor Wike so that he can remain  focused in the delivery  of  pro-people  prejects all through his leadership .

In her remarks, Provincial/Diocesan President of Women's Guild , Mrs Beatrice Kattey said that the  Anglican Church  will continue  to  play a major role in evangelism  and growth of Christianity .

Mrs Florence Brown , the lay preacher in her sermon titled "the  power of patience " noted that patience is a virtue that leads to success.

The Archbishop of Niger Delta North Diocese , Most Reverend Ignatius Kattey prayed for Rivers State and the first family for God's  grace  and support .
