Have you been able to get accommodation? if not i am in the process of renting a flat with 3 rooms and i seek interested person to share. This will help cut cost. Because i have a very good friend who left Sweden for Germany, he was playing football with one of the lower league team, and also studying, but today he is enjoying his studies more here in Germany, finished his Msc studies and now doing his Phd, I remember him telling me always that life was tough in Sweden. are you just making points because you have experience from both countries or you are only trying to give people room for option?

Do you have a block account? if yes you should know that from Nigeria you cannot access the account only a statement of confirmation you can get when your money is fully blocked. Some questions should not be asked, Because you have the answers in your palm

use google or daad.de ,,,,,,,,,,,,, type anything you want and check for as many school you wish. it is not a matter of any school, it shoulb be a thing of desire course of study

Brother i will advise you to come to Berlin, Life is easy and if you know what you are doing and what you want. I am in Germany Close to Berlin and Berlin is the home of Succor. I am trying to help a brother to come to TU Berlin where his deadline is 08.08 but has been shifted to 31st August.

I need help as I'm a little bit confused on which school to choose. I have offer from TU Berlin and Leibniz Hannover for the same course.

The only advantages Hannover has over Berlin is that tutorials would be offered for missing basics from my undergraduate and I might be able to get studentenwerk accommodation. Berlin is better in all other aspects e.g. semester fee of €300 compared to Hannover’s €410, jobs etc. However, the tutorial aspect is very important as I don’t want to start struggling with academics. I contacted Berlin and I was told they will offer some tutorials but not certain yet for which courses until October and I fear the tutorials might not be in the fields I need.

I also need advice on which letter to take along on interview day. I applied since 5th July and just got a confirmation 2 days ago for 25th August. The issue is Hannover’s enrollment deadline is September 15 while Berlin is October 1. I initially planned to use Hannover but not sure again because of the closeness of interview date to enrollment deadline. I will appreciate as many opinions as I can get.

I followed this thread from the first part. It's been a really long read over the last few days.

I have a couple of questions please.
I have a B.A honours first class from the UK. Because of the exchange rate and high cost of living, I decided to go somewhere else for my masters. Canada application is taking too long.

I applied to 2 universities via uniassist in Germany a few weeks ago.

I received a mail from uniassist yesterday saying my application has been forwarded to the schools.

Today, one of the schools mailed me about a Skype interview.

I applied to university of kiel and the university of Marburg.

Not a lot of people there from the things I've been reading.

What do I expect from the interview? I mean questions and all?

Kiel is a nice place, and i know one or two person currently studying there in Kiel, but for Marburg i really don't know.

For the cost you need to go to the office to confirm the postal fees and it depends on the weight and size of the parcel, i think DHL is around 15 to 16K to post a document to Germany.
