Where are the Ethiopians though? ![]() Let me say I've got some facebook friends from Ghana, the supposedly Giant of Africa which is not(Nigeria ),South Africans, some tidy number of folks from Uganda,Tanzania,Zambia,Namibia,Angola and others.I just don't see much of Ethiopians, even on twitter-they are almost non-existent! Where do you guys usually hide? ednited: |
You don't give a f*ck about African countries whilst you were discussing about Kenya and Nairobi in Nairaland almost a decade ago ? ![]() jaycent: |
One of the intentions of the movie was to show the African culture as much as possible. That's why Xhosa language was even used in the movie. There was a guy wearing the maasai clothing, there was some aspects of Namibian culture as well .As for the physical location of Wakanda, it's around L.Turkana or sometimes said to be around L.Victoria! Mention the public ones! jaycent: |
You are trying to play neutral but the guy popped up in a Kenya versus Nigeria thread and started talking ill of us. Ask yourself why we don't go after Ghana or Ethiopia XhosaNostra: |

You can say that again! https://www.businessdailyafrica.com/news/Kibaki-s-free-school-puts-Kenya-ahead-of-South-Africa/539546-4806484-mo1lyu/index.html The free universal primary education programme introduced under former president Mwai Kibaki has lifted Kenya above its peers, including the most advanced economy on the continent South Africa, according to a new World Bank index measuring the productivity potential of the youth. The World Bank Human Capital Index released on Friday places Kenya in third place in Africa behind Seychelles and Mauritius, based on parameters such as expected years of school and harmonised test scores. The survey also assessed the probability of a child’s survival to age five, adult survival rate and healthy growth. I'm not bragging but Kenyan children do learn! “Students in Kenya score 455 on a scale where 625 represents advanced attainment and 300 represents minimum attainment…the index quantifies the contribution of health and education to the productivity of the next generation of workers. Countries can use it to assess how much income they are foregoing because of human capital gaps.” Kazikazi: |

Tutsis seem to hardheaded yet they are not even a large party(they are not great in number).I'm yet to understand Kagame's and Museveni's interests in the Congo. Is it for Congo that Rwanda and Uganda are squabbling? Is there a clash of interest about Congo that these two nations have seen in each other? What are Nairobi's intention on DRC Congo? kikuyu1: |
The 4 billion US dollars pipeline? It's a mirage! A pipeline that would connect Kenya,Uganda and later on South Sudan and Ethiopia looked more viable! “The pipeline route from Hoima to Lokichar to Lamu is the best option for Uganda given that Kenya will charge them cheaper compared to Tanzania per barrel of crude oil transported through the pipeline,” said Mr Keter. ''Britain’s Tullow Oil, which is operating in Uganda and Kenya, favours the Kenyan route, saying it is cheaper as costs will be shared by more operators'' https://www.standardmedia.co.ke/article/2000195376/kenya-ready-to-go-it-alone-in-oil-pipeline-deal-if-uganda-pulls-out rvp20183: |
Details emerged of the SADC countries calling for a fresh vote count to clear up the air.Raila and State House used all their means to convince SADC and AU to abandon their plan and declare Tshise as the winner. It worked in the end.I'm just yet to understand Kenya's intentions in the Congo! Maybe Wikileaks or the ''anonymous hackers'' would one day post the whole story! kikuyu1: |
Told ya! I just don't give a damn! Heavens will fall in Tanzania and no Kenyan will bat an eyelid! Kazikazi: |

Air Tractors getting ladened with water as they are to be used to battle the flames 3.A helicopter carrying a bambi bucket filled with water 4. A forest warden clears a portion of the earth's vegetation to create a firebreak
