N3,300,000 + N130,000 gives N3,430,000.

I will however advise you to increase the figure by like 5-10% as no one really knows the exchange rate your visa officer will use.

demshy:
From todays rates single applicants need N3,397,810 as proof of funds. My mum gifted me N3,300,000 today and i'm doing a gift deed. I already have N130,000 in my account but it hasnt been sitting for 6 months.I hope to enter the pool before the next draw. Can i present my statement like that or i have to get my mum to gift me the remaining 100,000?

I believe it is non-negotiable, he must provide POF for 2.

Liz2014:
Hi guys,

Help or advice needed for my brother. Has any one ever had to add a spouse to an open application because they got married during processing? Did you have to then deposit more money to the proof of funds?

My brother's one was a peculiar case, I will try to keep it short, cos this was a big mess on Accra's part

He can deposit that back but does he need to increase the funds for 2 people?
Please advise if you 've had to do this before.

Hi guys am new here and I like the help you render to one another. Please I have a question: on the express Entry page while filling my details there a place that states what’s the minimum education requirement for you NOC...... mine is NOC6235. Skilled level B. And under job requirement it states completion of high school is usually required. Furthermore, it states that some employers may require Bachelors in commerce or related field... please which is the minimum education requirement for my NOC?
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 7 by joo2018(op): 10:07am On May 07, 2019
Then I don't see the issue. Whether you get an ADR for payslips or choose to submit it upfront with the application, the applicable payslips are the ones between 2011 -2015.

Xyzee:
1. NO. Claiming points for 2011-2015 only.

2. There are payslips between 2011 -2015
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 7 by joo2018(op): 10:03am On May 07, 2019

Do you do any form of supervision?

Hi, So I checked and I saw the 1431 which is a C a s can't be used and 1524 which is also a C, I don't know what b role will be close, thanks...I basically analyze scan sales, sales via POS, that's the summary of what I do.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 7 by joo2018(op): 9:52am On May 07, 2019
1. He has to be in your application as your stepchild and your husband's biological child.

2. I think your application will be simpler if you submit as one spouse and 2 other dependents. He is your husband's dependent. See this, this and this. You will provide POF to cover him and have him do medicals.

3. You can list him as non-accompanying. That way if the whole family is not in support you don't have to carry him now, but your husband will retain the option to sponsor him later.

Buku:
Thanks alot.
About the second question...my mother-in-law,husband and his mom doesn't want him to come with us so it's just my wish. Do I still claim 2 dependent or 1 dependent if they still disagree?
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 7 by joo2018(op): 9:26am On May 07, 2019
You are already 5 months gone. I think at this point, you can only pray that it is acceptable.

Have you gotten your gcms notes?

caseynewnn:
so sorry to hear this.i will advise that you try to raise a CSE together with both birth certificates and plead that the case be reopened.you can write a detailed explanation also stating that both your names were stated in each other's application.were you sent an ADR before the refusal?

@All,i had included my sibling marriage certificate and my birth certificate to show relationship.I had stated on the LOE that sibling marriage certificate was used to show relationship as our father's name was written on both certificates.do you think this will suffice?i had submitted since January.I need your counsel please.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 7 by joo2018(op): 9:24am On May 07, 2019
Hmm.

The context is not clear.

Are you applying after you are married or you are planning to add your spouse after the wedding?

You must choose your current status as at when you are doing the medicals

If you applying after you are married, you upfront medical status is single.

If you are planning to add your spouse after the wedding, I think it will be simpler for the accompanying would-be spouse to do medicals separately. He/she can do his/her upfront medicals after the wedding.

LadyJasper:
Please guys, how do engaged couples apply for upfront medicals prior to their wedding especially because I'm sure the medical form would come with a provision for marital status.

Do they apply for the medicals as single or married?

1. Single because they're not yet married, but wouldn't it raise eyebrows when they eventually apply for invitation as married?

2. Married because they would eventually get married before applying for invitation, is this a wrong approach to it?

I hope this question makes sense enough to elicit any helpful advice. Thanks in anticipation.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 7 by joo2018(op): 9:17am On May 07, 2019
My contribution to this birth certificate debate:

1. IRCC has been accepting all kinds of birth certificates and I don't think that is likely to change.

2. The refusal letter @topeolu1 displayed is from MPNP. PNP sometimes have stricter requirements than IRCC. For example, I remember a case in an earlier thread where SINP rejected Treasury bills as a proof of funds.

3. People on PNP should definitely get their attestation from NPC.

4. There is no harm in all of us getting our attestation from NPC. We are all planning to emigrate. Let's get all possible documents. It doesn't cost much and is not really stressful.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 7 by joo2018(op): 9:02am On May 07, 2019
Kindly clarify:

1. Are you also claiming points for the 2016 job till date?

2. Are there no payslips available for the period 2011-2015?

Xyzee:
Gurus in the house.

I have worked for my organization from 2006 till date in different capacities and grade.

While claiming point, i claimed point for the period 2011-2015 under a different NOC from my current Job function.

However, my current payslip has my new role from 2016 till date which i want to also attach.

Is this misrepresenation, please?

How can i resolve it?

You should have listed yourself, their mother and the siblings already, so it doesn't apply to them.

It means if your child has a half-sibling, step-sibling, birth father or mother not listed in your application.

Please I am having difficulties completing our online application. Under my Children, where it is asked Does XYZ have have immediate family members not listed in this application bla bla bla. . . Am I supposed to list myself and their mother and her siblings here?

You were the lucky ones sad guess IRCC now have their tables full, so longer waiting time cry
pejuhazel:
45-60 days but most times it's closer to 60 than 45.
GozyNA:
It hasn't even been up to six months since my AOR and things have changed this much cry

Those guys should employ more hands and open up more offices biko
I have an idle theory as to why that is so:

It is an attempt to average out the processing timelines. Recently, we have been seeing normal, simple applications being processed in as little as 6 weeks and other applications with similar profiles processed in 7 months.

If some agents handling R10 completeness checks are diverted to eligibility processing, then R10 will take longer, but more files will be processed faster.

We may end up with a norming of application timelines with between 3 and 6 months.

Workload alone cannot explain it. The volume of applications processed between September and December 2018 is bigger than what is currently being processed and R10 took only 30 days then.

Provide the full facts, hope and pray and let the V/MO make an informed decision.

Justsolo:
Thanks for your input. I will definitely fill the PR application truthfully. There's no sense in looking over one's shoulder forever.

But the real question is, could they still charge me for misrepresentation from previous TRV, even though I will be filling my PR truthfully and there won't be any misrepresentation in it? Especially in this case that I will be the one mentioning the Denied Entry myself, not like They discover on their own.

I've checked and checked over the Internet but the closest to this situation that I found was from the
CIC Enforcement Manual (ENF Manual 2 s 9.3) gotten from the link below;
http://overseastudent.ca/migratetocanada/IMMGuide/CICManual/enf/enf02-eng.pdf Section 9.7 on Page 33.

"An application for a visa abroad, or for entry into Canada at a port of entry may be denied based on a misrepresentation made in connection with the current application or examination only, unless the person was previously the subject of a refusal for misrepresentation and the resulting two-year inadmissibility period has not elapsed".

The emphasis here is on the "current" application. This document may be outdated though.

I've been advised to consult an experienced immigration lawyer but I'm thinking I can just go ahead and apply on my own. Moreover, immigration lawyers are expensive and POF self never complete.

Seniors, what do you think please?
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 7 by joo2018(op): 8:47pm On May 06, 2019
1. Yes. You will choose that you did not get an ECA.

2. Not necessary. I submitted more than the POF account though. Anyhow try not to confuse the visa officer.

Zeeleo:
Hi.
Please, i got my ita on May1st and while filling my documents i got confused. I have only evaluated my Masters degree and not my Bachelor's degree.
1. Should i include my Bachelor's degree in my education history.
2. Do i need to include bank statements for all my bank account numbers or just the account with the POF.

If there is any whatsapp group i can join please share
Thank you very much.

Cool idea. Will look into it.

I think ifeoma77's contribution about applications with challenges is also cool.

Threemg:
@Topsmamen @joo.2018, So I was thinking because of the peculiarity surrounding EE applications being processed in Accra we could have a compilation of the already approved applications (if possible on Page 1) that were processed there so that every future applicants that suddenly found themselves their files in Accra can browse through so as to pick one or two lessons or hopes from their timeline/PPR stories. I can tell you it sure helped us alot in the WhatsApp group when certain researchers gave us insight about what's obtainable about how AVO handled all classes of Visa Applications round the year.
