I don't think you should worry. However, you can do the affidavit to ease you mind. There is no oversabi in this process. ilekzy: Good afternoon my fellow Nairalanders. Please I need suggestions from the gurus in the house. I'm post AOR and I noticed that my names and that of my spouse was not written in full on our children's birth certificate. Mine has just my Surname and middle name while my spouse's name is just the surname and first name. Should i get a one and same person affidavit and submit via CSE? Will it be an oversabi to do this? Make una help me biko. |

I believe that should work. amoskitto: Hello POF gurus, I have a question please. My wife is the primary applicant, but I intend to provide the proof of funds. Challenge is I don't have enough cash to transfer to her account. But there is more than enough funds from my RSA (25%) and treasury bills investments. So can I provide letter from my PFA and t-bill certificate, then do a notarized document stating she has access to my liquidated funds? Would that work? |

You might need to liquidate it and send an updated POF. Someone in my group noted that he knows about 3 people with GTB Tbills who got ADRs. Not everyone with GTB will get it, but it appears to be a concern for some VOs. That clause get as e bi. ayotami: Good day, Please I need help as regards a case of rejection I saw somewhere else concerning Tbills a certain person submitted as POF which states and I quote:
'the treasury bills will be held by Nigerian International Bank Nominees Limited as Custodian on your behalf; upon maturity, proceeds will be credited into your account with us.
Please note that the bank is not obliged to purchase this security if you wish to sell it before maturity. There also exists a possible erosion of principal invested should market forces cause unfavourable fluctuations of yields and the security is sold before maturity date’

My dear, if only they will listen. ladymarshall: Page 1, Page 1, Page 1. This is the most important page in this thread.
Do you have a question to ask us here? Take the following steps:
STEP 1: Before you ask a question here, ask yourself, "could this question have been answered on page 1?"
STEP 2: SKIM through page 1 before asking the question. Don't read it (reading is hard), just skim through, azzin just check each heading
STEP 2B: If skimming is still too hard, just type keywords from your intending question on the search button on the upper or lower part of the page (see attached picture below). It will show you similar questions from the archives.
STEP 3: If you still do not find your answer, then ask it here.
NOTE: If your question is a VERY peculiar case and you are so sure there is no other like it, e.g special ADRs, rejections, very technical questions regarding POF, specialty cases (e.g married 2 or 5 people at once and don't know which one to pick as accompanying spouse) etc, skip the above steps and ask immediately.
But most questions are nothing new and have been answered in previous pages or parts. Please be assured that as new information keeps coming (from CIC, VOs decisions, rejection cases, new ADRs etc), we will keep updating the thread), but until then, SKIM and SEARCH first.
Canada is a self-help competitive society, let's start practicing our quick search skills here and now. |

@sistaj, Thanks for 'remembering' us and coming back to update. How's life in Ottawa? sistaj: Cc: @vick.yehi An update to Bnsc evaluation with Iqas that was originally discussed many threads ago. My sister evaluated her Bnsc degree and Public health with iqas.Getting the public health transcript was a big challenge but she did eventually get it. She went back and forth numerous times from Waheb to her school with waheb saying her uni should issue it from the mock exams they did.It was the first time of the school having to issue the transcript so it was not easy getting them to do it with me having to call numerous times to tell them why they should issue it as they were very unwilling. |

1. The MA study was outside Canada right? No problem. 2. Yes. 3. I don't believe so. newbie4c: Good day everyone, am so happy to be here. I need some clarifications before i start my Canadian EE journey please. 1) I started my MA studies in dec 2012 later i gained employment in nov. 2013 both on full time. how to i support this in my application? 2) i have a stepchild ( whose mother is late), can the child relocate with me as a dependent 3) i had my baby in the US in 2015, i actually spent like 5 months with visiting visa because i was given 6 months at the POE and i paid all my bills cash down. I still had my job during the period. Unfortunately, i was refused renewal of visa multiple times on the basis that the hospital gave me a discount. I got in contact with the hospital and I was told that it's her policy to give discount once you make self payment but till now, i have not been able to get US visiting visa. My question is, will this affect my chances of getting Canadian PR?
I will appreciate if i can get answers to all these my questions because i am so worried. Thank you. |

For the bolded, are you sure you can use it? Which qualification will be the basis of the experience? passionate2019: I am trying to update my express entry profile. But a bit confuse. I have applied for studies, co-op and recently PGWP and In work experience section I added previous experience of 2years 5months , but realize I could have added the experience I got during my undergraduate studies. If I add this 7months of experience which has never been reflected in any of my CIC previous application. This will put me in 459 CRS scores.
Would this additional update in work experience in express entry be a problem for me? Can this lead to misrepresentation!!!! I am soo confuse right now.
Add those years and get ITA or not to add it !!! Please gurus in the house advise meeeeeeeeeeee poo |

I concur with 1123 Mstomie: Please I'm trying to figure out what my NOC is before I go ahead and request for a reference letter in case I need to change some things.
Role: Communications and Relationship Officer
This was the job description, I asked on here and I was advised that it's most likely NOC 1123.
What do you think ? |
Travel › Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 8 by joo2018(op): 3:37pm On May 16, 2019 |
Mismatch between NOC and reference letter generally results in a refusal (without ban). This does not make the PA inadmissible so either the PA or the spouse can re-apply immediately. amoskitto: Thanks for responding. The concern here is the NOC code selected, in relation to the reference letter. The employer made some changes to the job description in the reference letter; so I'm not very sure it fits perfectly with the chosen NOC code. The changes are minor, but I still have slight concerns. So can a mismatch between NOC code and reference letter result in a rejection/cancellation or a refusal? and if it's a refusal, can this be resolved if the spouse reapplies as the primary applicant? |

"Paid" and "volunteer" together are really not compatible for this process. Graduate intern is good. The key is your NOC. Mstomie: Yes, it was actually a paid volunteer position for about 6 months. I want to claim experience for it since I was paid but I feel like graduate intern might be the best way to word the job title (I also think I was given an internship certificate would need to go search for it). |

Rejection/cancellation is pre-MEP/BIL and there's no ban. Refusal is post-MEP/BIL and can include ban for misrepresentation. Which is applicable here? amoskitto: Quick question for EE gurus on the house please. Let's assume we create an EE profile with my spouse as the primary applicant, get ITA, apply and then application gets rejected. Can we create another profile with me as the primary applicant immediately? Does the 11-month ban apply if I'll now be the primary applicant?
Thanks |

1. Only the specific work history that relates to the NOC and skill for which you are claiming points. 2. You can if you can get the reference letter. It might be good to also add a LOE for your eAPR. Take note that the claculation of hours for part-time work is different (see here). 3. No. All other work experience, the customer service, the current should go under personal history in your eAPR. Fidesa: Hello house, Please i have a clarification i need to make.
Question 1:
When filling the work history of my EE profile, what exactly is to be indicated? Is it all my work history within the past 5years or only the specific work history that relates to the NOC and skill for which i am claiming points? I have 5 years work history in total because i graduated in 2013. However out of those 5years, i worked in customer service for 2 years and worked in an accounting consulting firm for 3years. When filling my work history, should i put only that of the accounting (3years) or the entire 5 years including the customer service experience.
Question 2:
Also, is it possible to submit work experience for a part time job which i worked for 30 hrs per week while doing my full time job. That is, while doing the full time customer service job during the week, i worked part time with the accounting firm during the evenings and on weekends. Can i claim points for the accounting part-time work only, since the customer service work is not being used to claim points as it is not the primary occupation.
Question 3:
Does it matter if the work experience for which points are being claimed, does not include where i am presently working?
Please i need answers urgently as i need to submit my profile. |

I think it will be better to get the money. You can invest in Tbills if you want. dedalove: Glad to be in the new thread. I pray we all get good news soon. My husband and I recently discovered we could stop one of our children education insurance and get the money before the stipulated expiry date. I just want to know if getting a letter from the insurance company of the availability of the money to us is enough for POF or if we should get the money and invest in Tbills to show for POF? The insured money is in my hubby name but I hope that will not matter if we can explain that I as the PA has access to it. Thanks |
