Hi teamie, please read up the importance of watermelons on Google. I ate a lot of it during my first preggy infact, i consumed 2 full watermelons per week (long story, wasnt having access to good food back then MIL issues and the elders talk say person wey no get mama no dey carry injury for back but in my case, person wey in mama dey far, no dey carry injury for back. So i will just carry my money go buy watermelons, dey chop am morning and night.)
DD came out clean and strong. She now carried half bag of sachet water. Climbs burglary proof and dangles down with one hand. If she gives you headbutt, na u go take panadol. She gave me one recently and my mouth scattered with blood. Her energy amazes everybody that people always ask me what drugs i used during her preggy.
I am not attributing all these to the watermelons but it sure played its part too cos above all the Grace of God is ever sufficient.

Please i have a funny question to ask. Is fixing of nails allowed in the labour room? I mean very short fixing not long at all hope the midwives won't cut it off when they see it? and also please what is the best hairstyles one can do when going for delivery? Didi, braids, short hair etc? I learnt all those long hairs may inconvenience someone. But at the same time one won't have the time to go to the saloon immediately after delivery... hmmmn, as per fixing of nails, it isn't allowed and of course you should have stopped the moment you started your antenatal classes. It is strictly frowned against in my hospital, together with using of nail polish and laali. The reason explained was that the doctors and nurses will be able to assess the blood level of the patient without having to send for a test. They might want to check if the person is pale or not.

you mean ALGH have joined the strike too. was there antenatal. Mine is on Thursday. Asking because I remembered one of my antenatal appointment that didn't hold because Buhari is coming to Lagos state.

At first, d records didn't collect card so there was no folder, they later came for it sha around past 9:00am. We all saw doctors sha. The only thing lacking was d usual organisation. I heard that there will be Johesu meeting today to determine whether or not to resume.

is it true that as a pregnant woman one should not sleep in the same bed with ur kids that if u do they fall sick anyhow and sometimes it can be fatal

I've been sleeping with my almost 2 year old child and ive taken her to the hospital twice with the space of a week due to high fever

the first question a mother asked me was that do I sleep at night with the child and that if that's the case I should stop it that that is what is affecting her health

I think that was coincidental. My almost two years DD sleeps on the same bed with me and i haevnt bn to the hospital. Only took her to health center to complain of rashes.
