Here's a small story for you to make something out of:

You do know that more Hausa-Fulani people have died in the ongoing crisis? This is not something to boast about by the way. Instead what needs to happen is a common understanding. The people of Jos alone could decimate the Hausa-Fulani population of Jos. Is it no wonder that there is a heavy Military Security presence in Jos-North, while many outskirt towns, the striking grounds of the Fulani are left not patrolled?

I beg to differ with your analysis. Cops in the western world are remunerated well so money tends not to be their issue. Yet you can still run into a cop over here who will harass the living daylights out of you because he doesn't like the way you look, talk or even dress. The profiling that goes on here in western world is far more offensive then the roger that NPF demand back home due to their paltry salaries. Why is it in a country where a senator makes 30 milli, the same (or more than) his/her western counterparts the same cannot be said for teachers,doctors,law enforcement etc, ?

I am from a tribe.ethnicity of no more than 100,000 located in plateau state. Apart from a few loan words between us and our sourrounding neighbours there is nothing more we share in our cultures. I think due to the mountainous terrain of the middle-belt region and the jungle-like terrain of the south-south region small tribes.ethnicities were are able to survive, unlike other parts of naija which tend to be either dry-like terrain or forrest-like terrain, which are easy for mass assimilation. Its interesting to note that both Usman don Fodio and Queen Amina conquests.jihads stopped in the mountainous-terrain middle-belt. This to me is due to the fact horses, one of the main modes of swift locomotion during those per4ods do not fare well against mountains.

i dont know, all i know is that there're more southerners in the north than northerners in the south, look at banks in the north, primary schools, secondry schools, universities, hospitals etc are having alot of southern professionals not to talk of the informal sector, the only northerner you have in the south those are cattle sellers and vegetable sellers, so its left to the southerners if they want peace.

Another question. Is a northerner more safe in the south or is a southerner more safe in the north? and why is there such a disparity?
