ireneony:How will you? How often do you visit Education section, Irene? |
Audray:Oh yea, care to tell me about it? And most of my friends are very open minded. Lol. |
Audray:Yea sex in general, also alcohol, weed, politics and the likes... Remember, the spilling comes after the chilling. ![]() |
Audray:Yea, but usually in the company of willing girls, who aren't afraid to tango, and who are also proud of their sexuality. |
Adisa89:Then again, ask yourself another question, how come most if not all the winners of Mr and Miss Nairaland contest always go on ghost mode, after they win. I believe the quest for cheap popularity is the craving they so desire. |
HaneefahRN:Exactly. Its the very thing that is wrong with this country. |
PunkyV:Okay, your funeral. I believe you know what to do. |
LordScent:Yes. In terms of preference, you're right. But you forgot a very lucid fact I mentioned. The partakers of this Mr and Miss Nairaland contest are mostly student, now the question is, what is a student doing contesting for Mr and Miss Nairaland, when he or she knows very well that if he or she tell his or her H.O.D that they won an online debate or poetry competition, the H.O.D might give them a pat on the back, but, if they tell that same H.O.D that the won an online pageant contest, the H.O.D will tell them "they're not serious". Brother, preference shouldn't be mistaken for relevance and necessity. While its good to catch fun, its also good to catch fun and learn a thing or two, that can shape ones life, for life. Take me for instance, I par took in this same competition in 2014, campaigned here and there, and yes I learned something. I got my poetry skill back in line, you can check my first poem in Nairaland, it was written for this contest, and since then, its been pen on paper, and I tell you you wouldn't believe the amount of Nairalanders I've helped with this. Now ask any of the contestants and campaigners what they've learned here so far, and they'll tell you the usual bullsh1t. Then again, everybody can't be Joe, right. |
PunkyV:Hmm. Trust me, you wouldn't!. I can be very hard and intolerable when it comes to education and the training of young minds. |
HaneefahRN:The problem with today's men and woman have always been their failure and inability to ask pertinent questions. For instance, how will my wife keeping her maiden name, or using my surname make us happy? Or live happily ever after? |
In my candid opinion. The Mr and Miss Nairaland contest is a tacit waste of time. Imagine most of the contestants are actually student, but, yes but, you never see them partake in contest like The Nairaland Inter-School Debate or The Nairaland Poetry Club Competition. They always flock around this Mr and Miss Nairaland contest, why, its obvious, because you don't need any ounce of intelligence to win, just get people to campaign for you, and let people vote based on who is popular, then voila!. You're home free!. |
PunkyV:Patience and tolerance, and in very high amount cos some of these kids don't have home training and are very rude to the core. I've seen quit a few to know. Discipline is what I enforce as a teacher. Informal education usually requires informal modes of discipline. The flirty Joe you know here is the no nonsense Joe outside here. |
HaneefahRN:The questions the OP raised have a lot to do with personal choice, nothing more, nothing less. Any woman who wants to shed her maiden name can do so, if she likes. Its entirely up to her husband and her. |
crackhaus:Of course something isn't right. Something went wrong the moment internet became affordable for even rodents and sea urchins to purchase with their monthly stipend given them by their parents. That fellow can kiss the devil's ass just to get a high five. |
Audray:Oh not the milkish cream you mentioned. I'm talking about the milkish cream that travel faster than a snail, when they're inside that tube, hoping to fulfill their mission. Lol. ![]() |
PunkyV:Its against the law here also, but the law is what we hardly follow. Be that as it may, some of these kids take advantage of this no flogging fact and misbehave. Imagine a kid telling you to your face that you're gut wrench poor, ugly and miserable? To make it worse, after insulting you, they'll tell you there's absolutely nothing you can do about it, right to your face. And yes! The school won't do anything about it, cos they care about the child's school fees, more than the welfare of the child. This is among the reason why I quit my job teaching in schools and set up my own gig, where my law reign supreme. Wanna know my law? Its simple pidgin english, "if you do anyhow, you go see anyhow". |
MRLANNISTER:Amen!. |
Audray:Oh all of that, apart from girls, that is, and not to forget something milkish... ![]() |
PunkyV:Awww come on gurl, you know I want you to shake something my way, and its clearly not your head. ![]() |
If I hear say police prosecute them. Lol. Well the thieves should be glad Umuahians aren't savages, otherwise, they would have used them for burnt offering to appease their idols. Lol. On a serious note, its nice to know Jungle Justice isn't celebrated everywhere in the country. Thumbs up for Umuahia. |
Silkmoth33:OK. I'm playing it on Nintendo Game Boy. |
Audray:Oh. Saawee. LOL. You know the spilling makes the fun chilling, very chilling I must say. ![]() |
Silkmoth33:XBox, you mean? |
Audray:Been here and there, chilling and spilling. You? |
The Area Fada himself. See the way the guy put hand jejely for Linda waist. Old man with swag. Nothing does you sir. |
Audray:Hey hey. Seem you went ghost on a broda. Howdy do? |
He's probably cooling off somewhere in one school in Nigeria. Funny how they all disappear after they win. But isn't it a wonder how some peeps will campaign, put in all their effort, and time in this stuff, and after winning, they go on Ghost Mode. Lemme kwantinu with my Tom Clancy: Ghost Recon abeg. |
PunkyV:Oh you know I like em violent and ill tempered. The angrier the more interesting the sex is, plus a lot of kinky pinky stuff, you know. LOL.And my mind is right where its suppose to be, thinking about your... ![]() |
Tolexander:LOL. its never enough for them grand parents bro, they always want more grand kids... |
PunkyV: Now the emboldened caught my eye. And hey, you know what's up, right? ![]() |
