Lezzlie: Very unfortunate. People should learn to sue the police for malicious prosecution. And the courts should do their job as Magistrates should inspect detention centres as mandated. Trust me bro, people do. I've dealings with some human right activists. What the police normally do, is play on people's ignorance. They believe people don't know there rights, and even if they do, lack the capacity (money) to sue them. That's why they behave the way they behave. Money is now the focal point of everything in Nigeria, bro. Lawyers who are suppose to take up people's case of unlawful arrest ad detention, will charge you hundreds of thousands of Naira, just to write a petition, the money doesn't even include legal fees and the likes. It's among the reason the Police is misbehaving. The courts won't ever bother about inspecting detention centres. The day they do, many policemen will find themselves replacing many detentee. |

Penguin2: When the pictures of Peter Obi serving food at an event center in Owerri surfaced online, there’s nothing his traducers did not say about him.
Some accused him of hypocrisy, and of not being different from everyday Nigerian politician who eats corn on the road and fries Akara just because they are looking for votes.
But is that who Peter Obi is?
Well, the below pictures will answer that question. As can be seen in the pictures, Peter Obi was captured on two different occasions serving food while he was sitting governor.
Those of who support him know that we are supporting a character who has not only been consistent in his way of life, but also has an unimpeachable character unmatched by any politician alive in Nigeria today. He's carrying an empty plate. Even looks like he's serving himself. Hian. |

Lezzlie: Nairaland is a boring as NTA news and as juvenile and a YouTube kids.
A platform for propaganda, disinformation and illiteracy.
This platform is unwittingly aligning itself with the unprofessionalism and intellectual laziness of the police and people.
That someone a girl dies in your house with no market of physical violence or struggle, so the police cannot do an independent autopsy to determine course of death?
A 16 year-old girl died in a man's house and the man was never arrest in Brazil. Police simply came and no prima facie case of murder and they took the body for autopsy which disclosed that the girl had heat problems.
God save this country. Its a profound shame, my brother. The country has become a cesspool of idiots who grab at any opportunity to make money. A girl dying in a man's house, doesn't necessarily mean the man murdered her. Okay bro, that's for rational thinking Nigerians, but heck, you and I both know Nigeria is almost now devoid of rational thinking people. If such a scenerio plays out. The police will frustrate the living day light out of the man. Engineer the girls family in other to use it as a ruse to get money out of the man, even if they know the man is innocent, they still won't burge. They will extort the man and his family and when they're tired of milking the man and his family, they will now push the case to court. Even if there is no prima facie case and no actus reus mens ria, they will still charge the matter to court. Our police are a bunch of hungry, wild looking hyenas, who feed on themselves without even giving a damn! All they care about is, as long as they make money, they're fine and okay. |

That automatically grants her children citizenship status because Kemi is a citizen. Even Agent Smith, whose parents aren't Nigerian, but was born in Ibadan, is a citizen, talkless of someone like Kemi, whose parents are citizens but she wasn't born in Nigeria. Doesn't same apply to Sade ADU and Seal or something like that? |

Ishilove: I remember, many years back when I was having recurring malaria that was causing my lips and tongue to blister. I went for a lab test and asked for a thorough blood work. The tech, who was a friend asked me if he should include HIV and pregnancy tests. I told him it won't be necessary because I live a very clean lifestyle, but he insisted.
About 25/30 mins later, he came and told me "congratulations, you are negative." I stared at him blankly as asked "if I'm negative, what is wrong with me??"
" Oh, you just have really high malaria", to which I replied "guy, but you just said I'm negative!!"
"Oh, I meant HIV and pregnancy negative" he responded offhandedly. I hissed. Of course I'm negative. I knew I'd be negative so when he told me the result, my mind flew straight to the real reason that took me to the clinic that day. Malaria. During the waiting period, my mind no shake, I was not nervous and I had absolutely no doubt in my mind about the outcome. A clear conscience fears no accusation.

DissTroy: Joe, I've never been a PDP or APC or LP guy. Political parties are SPVs. I'm about personalities.
I campaigned for Osinbajo, Fayemi, and Obi in the same election season, and on this thread. That should tell about where my loyalty lies - with the person running, not the party.
I don't care which party it is - even if it's KOWA. Just field a good candidate so I can campaign, canvass for votes, vote and 'waste' my vote knowing I voted my conscience.
If I do that, I am good. Hehehehe. Reminds me of The Matrix, when Agent Smith asked Neo why he keeps fighting, knowing he can never win. His reply is: "because I chose to". How noble. Still, that's fiction, this is reality. I still respect your decision though. Cheers. 🥂 |

BlackManta: If Gunn is casting based on acting prowess, then there's no better actress that fits WW than Elizabeth Debicki.
She's 6"3 tall.
She's an accomplished TV drama actress, won a golden globe and Emmy for portrayal of Princess Diana in The Crown, a very iconic role.
Only two years older than David, so not too old and not too young either.
Only downside is her physique. She's really slim. Some would even call her skinny but that can be fixed with dieting and exercise.
She's worked with Gunn before on GOTG vol 2 and 3. Gunn is known to use the same actors across different films. Is she as skinny as Gal Gadot? |

BlackManta: Did we watch the same movie
Superman only lost to one person in the whole movie. Ultraman, his cl**e, who was being controlled by Lex, the genius billionaire who studied Superman and the way he fights and even developed his own counter moves to defeat him.
The movie even states at the beginning that Superman is the most powerful metahuman in the world and he has never lost a battle in over 3 years...until Ultraman.
Bro beat Ultraman and the Engineer, beat all of the Lex's goons in a few seconds. Escaped a pocket dimension with kryptonite poison in his body and saved many people when the city was falling apart.
So tell me again which movie did you watch Thank you for spoiling the movie for us bro, we appreciate thy effort. |

musicwriter: You believe in God but yet afraid of death?
That's all I need to know you don't know what God is.
There's no death! jesusjnr2020 is saying is scarier dying without Jesus, because obviously, he's a Christian, or perhaps, a church goer. A Muslim will say it's scarier dying without accepting Allah and Prophet Mohammed as his messenger. Then, a person like me, might say "who then do we believe?". Now, isn't this the more prudent question. 🤔 |
