Remember, I never mentioned that any outnumbered the other. I only insisted that I can't agree that females are more because I see more males around in the younger generation. I also stated that nature will always find its way to maintain a balance. The issue I see here is that of male eligibility which has been hampered due to the recent structure of the workforce. As for your last point, there isn't any standard way of knowing if we have more females on this planet, than males. All I know is what by SAA111 lecturer told me: "If you have a society where there is more males than females, that society is fading/dying". And I believe him. Remember, it only takes one he-goat to fertilize seven she-goat, and it can never take seven she-goat to fertilize one he-goat.

A man also mentioned on the thread that he will be happier with a female kids that all male kids. Another lady stated that she will be happier with 3 daughters and a son, this I have heard before from a friend. Different people, different preferences, you can't use yourself as a yardstick to judge majority.

No doubt! But as I know you know, majority carries the vote. More nigerians are more prone to wanting and having male kids than females kids. That's a fact!.

My observation also made me know that their quest for a female child was the reason they had more males. The other day I made a post about a neighbour that is facing the threat of her husband bringing a second wife because she has no female child yet. So everything depends on the shades of your own world, different area, different observations.
