I hope it is not just fame and her account is being credited. I also hope she's being properly managed and not taken advantage of. She just has to maximize this fame cos it can be quite fleeting. In Nigeria, things get forgotten fast
Yea that's true, but those who will make money out of it will make money.

Of course this will soon make front page. I wonder when it became our business what this celebrities do with their lives.

I mean, while Ben Bruce is busy patronizing made in Nigeria goods, Ike Ogbonna is busy patronizing made in Columbia goods? Or shouldn't we patronize and promote our own made in Nigeria goods? Surely they can't all be that bad. LOL.

Low self esteem.
You think? If reverse is the case all hell will break loose as most of this women activist group will start squirting over the issue.

And the man involved will be branded a Beast Of No Nation. I'm sure this case will be treated with kid gloves and the media won't make a frenzy over it.

Don't you think so?

I believe am very much pro-APC, however, I would have the say that you have got no point here.

The campaign of --"Patronize Nigeria Products" should not end with Public Office holders. Everyone has a part to play if we must make things work in our beloved country; especially someone in the calibre of the "first lady". She is a role model for crying out loud; as such millions of ladies across the globe would likely emulate her by default. If she is seen spending moderately on fashion and more importantly, patronizing locally made products; other financially stable individuals would be more favorably disposed to emulate her.

Finally, we should desist from playing a politics where only the politicians win; i.e, let's re-examine our party alignment and focus squarely on performance. This is when the people/mass benefit from good governance.
No doubt. But amidst all what you said, one shouldn't in the effort of patronizing nigeria made good forget to do what he or she is suppose to do. That's all there is to it.

Our senators and rep members were elected into office to represent members of their federal constituency and senatorial district so as to give them a voice and make development grace their communities, not show the whole nation that they patronize made in Nigeria goods.

Compare the amount of times Ben Bruce has shown that he patronize made in Nigeria goods to the amount of times he has launched a project in his senatorial district, I believe the former far out weigh and out source the latter. That's what I'm saying.

However, I'm not saying we shouldn't patronize made in Nigeria goods, nope, all I'm saying is we should do what we're suppose to do at the appropriate time.

Buhari's wife isnt an elected official but uses official presidential planes even senior senators can't use.
She isnt a public official but has personal aids paid for by money from public purse.
The way u guys reasons is what i don't understand
Yes sadly that's the way it is. Even president Obama's wife uses AirForce1 with her husband, and she isn't a public official but sadly, she has personal aids paid for by American tax payers

And yes, they way some guys reason at times is mind blowing.

Sometimes, it's not a mod behind the ban. There's an anti-spam bot that automatically hides posts and ban posters too on Nairaland.
If the anti spam bot bans a moniker, it is boldly written for the moniker to see, so is when a moderator ban a moniker.

christinie, don't you think you should give me the usernames of your friends who were allegedly banned so I can investigate their cases? huh
You should start with my moniker. The last time I was banned for breaking rule 2, I was given a 5 day ban, while the moniker who instigated the whole ish was free to roam about....

And I must tell you that whenever I'm banned I always seek redress from the supermod, and of course, like I once told you, they never reply my mail.

I mean, courtesy demands that they should at least reply ones email, not just ignore it.

Tribal conflicts of which most if not all the tribe are moslem. Doesn't Islam preach against hurting/harming the innocent.

Surely if one is a true moslem one must ignore such things right?.

Oh yes my English teacher. So much like you and yourself to start correcting grammar when your baseless and senseless points is flushed down the toilet.

Tell me, who made you an expert in English language? For the fact that since we've been having this discourse, you've been trying to pick flaws in my grammar show just how really petty you are.

No wonder you go about posting pictures here and there when you can't even engage in a simple discourse.

If out of my post with you, you picked just one flaw, that's an A. 9 over 10 is a pass mark, but I wish I can say the same for you. LMAO.

And was she voted into office? Or was she made First lady solely because her husband is president?

Tell me, Mr picture poster, does the constitution recognizes the office of the First lady of Nigeria?

There's a fine line between when someone was voted into office and when someone was appointed into office.

NB. The invitation card reads Wife Of The President Of The Federal Republic Of Nigeria. Not Office of the First Lady Of The Federal Republic Of Nigeria. Once again, there's a difference.
