I am talking about personal convictions there.........so please don't get it twisted.

BTW, how has such a phrase "continuously caused division and hatred among Nigerians."
Kindly educate me.
Thanks.
Oh you haven't noticed how many of you APC and PDP e-warriors shove "your personal convictions" down peoples throat!.

To each his own.
You may however have noted (or not) that quite a few of those who appreciate the more democratic, increasingly transparent federal administration of Jonathan/Sambo are focused on FACTS and rational analysis of same to arrive at meaningful conclusions useful in dissecting and dispelling the moribund LIES and PROPAGANDA of the Arewa People's Congress, APC sympathisers.
"To each his own": A phrase that has continuously caused division and hatred among Nigerians. I see where your allegiance go!.

My reference to Buhari was on the thinking capacity of those following him like cows doing Moo Moo all over the place.
Thief'nubu was in reference to his paper, The Nation, which I quoted.

Understandably you cannot make any sense of FACTS because you are allergic to them as you prefer LIES angry
You should see it fit and also refer to those who follow GEJ like "cows doing moo moo all over the place".

Dude kindly stick to the topic, questions were asked and those questions need answers to placate the Nigerian masses.

Buhari is not the president of Nigeria, all what Jonathan and his aides said is written above in black and white. How many of his promises has he kept?. Even with the #BringBackOurGrils saga, the army openly said they know where the girls are, since all this time why haven't they attempt a rescue operation(covert or overt) instead they went to sign this yeye cease fire agreement with them.

We shouldn't shy away from the truth. GEJ has a lot to answer for.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Why didn't you tell the Buhari campaigners above me to stick to the topic? You are trying to play politics with fuel subsidy forgetting that the subsidy issue was backed by all state governors including the progretheives governors. Have you forgotten so soon that Oshiomhole, Fashola and Amaechi said many times during the subsidy saga that subsidies were unsustainable? Do you remember Oshiomhole speaking in that town hall meeting organised by Nduka Obiagbena of This Day? Have you forgotten that state Commissioners for Finance still meet and call for the total removal of subsidies? Don't you know that the state governments also get their shares in the money saved from the difference between N65 and N97 which was the money saved from the increase in fuel price? You forgot that these promises were based on the earlier N120 which would have been the pump price of fuel had the subsidy been totally removed. By the time you take time to find out what your local government chairman and state governor are doing with your money you will realise that you are ignoring the elephant in your room.

Let me ask you one question, why has no one asked why Lagos, Rivers, Akwa Ibom and Kano State governments cannot provide ORDINARY potable water for their statEs despite the huge allocations they are receiving? Why must over 60 per cent of people living in the MEGA CITY of Lagos be using well water? Do you remember that there was cholera outbreak in Lagos some time this year? Do mega cities have cholera issues? How many local government areas in your state have dilapidated libraries let alone functional ones. You guys come here to lambast the FG when those closer to you can't even do the basic things. Where I live, council trims the grasses on the main roads and fumigate the streets every now and then. Just last week someone came to my house, saying that the state government sent him to exchange my old electric bulbs with energy-saving bulbs. There is a library by my house owned by the council and I go there to borrow books for my daughter. People, especially old men and women, go there for lessons on how to manage arthritis, diabetes and asthma as well as how to avoid or detect stroke. I am registered with an ambulance and should there be any emergency, the council ambulance will come immediately.

If you cannot demand good governance from your state and local governments, demanding it from FG smacks of hypocrisy. I am for criticism of the government. But it has to be across the board. No government in Nigeria does one-twentieth of what it is suppose to do. Yet, you guys hypocritically come here daily to criticize FG as if there is this government that has turned its state to Eldorado. We still see decrepit schools in Lagos, Akwa Ibom and Rivers State. The number of Alimajiris in Kano is still 'balooning'. Potable water is a luxury in these states. Corruption is still the same at all levels. All these hypocritical criticisms do you no favors, hence people have now developed propaganda fatigue.

I accept that the FG has not met expectations. But I insist that governments at all levels and across parties have not met expectations. As such, criticizing the FG and pretending that state governors from a certain party are performing, to my mind, is the hallmark of hypocrisy.
Oh is I see... I believe there's portable drinking water in Otuoke right? Even in your village is there portable drinking water?.

All what you mentioned above are evidence of a near failed state. It is the job of the government to provide for its citizens whether at the local, state or federal level, and should they the government at all levels fail to meet the yearnings of its citizens, they should be voted out!. Plain and simple.

You are a very ignorant man, not even your exposure to foreign countries could influence your shallow thought process. Nigerians DID not elect any commissioner to run this country. The President takes a decision and gave loads of Promises with NO ONE being fulfilled almost 3 years after and you come here talking gibberish.
You further exposed your ignorance by saying Kano State don't have pipe-borne water. You are just a pitiable doofoo
My brother, there's no need to resort to insults. Like your rightly said: We the people of Nigeria did not elect any local government chairman or commissioner or governor to preside over the affairs of Nigeria. We elected GEJ, not Fashola or Oshiomhole!. The last time I checked they aren't the C in C of the armed forces.

Another thread to promote a criminal with neither vision nor ideas. Since he was kicked out on 27 August 1985 by his fellow felon he has done no other job apart from his PTF misadventure, a job meant to rehablitate him.

Even an older Obasanjo has been gainfully occupied in different local and international initiatives. But this coupist known as Buhari thinks the only way to survive is to be in government. What is plan for Nigeria? Nothing! Just the abstract 'I will fight corruption'. With Tinubu, Fayemi, Sylva?

What did Buhari even achieve as a Head of State? What was that exceptional thing that he achieved that will make us return him, a criminal by Nigerian laws? Did he turn Nigeria into heaven? Did he eradicate corruption? He was a product of corruption himself. Yes, coup plotting is a crime. It is corruption.

Nothing bad in criticising the government. But promoting a criminal who set Nigeria back 50 years is the highest form of corruption.

PoliticsRe: Peace Talks Split Boko Haram Into Two Groups by joseph1832(m): 10:44am On Oct 20, 2014
JuanDeDios:
Exactly.

Even where you negotiate like the Gaza situation, once Hamas broke the ceasefire by firing a single shot that did not injure a fly, there was an immediate response. Here Nigerians are being beheaded while Badeh drinks champagn in his office celebrating a "ceasefire" and the military is
saying they will not go on the offensive but will retaliate if fired upon. In a serious country Badeh would be in serious trouble by now.

It would appear that the BH guys simply went out to ridicule the military and Badeh fell for it. Shame.
I couldn't agree more.

Strange, isn't it? Now Nigerians are being murdered while soldiers stand by on the instructions of Badeh who's celebrating a sham ceasefire.
While they dilly dally because they haven't a single clue on how to stop Boko Haram they engage in this free for all Shenanigans to deceive the foolish Nigerian multitude.

Imagine president Barack Obama negotiating a cease fire with Taliban, Al-Queda, Islamic Jihad, ISIS and co.

The ceasefire negotiation between the FG and Boko Haram is a scam - Asari dokubo

....... In another news ......

More than a million unemployed Nigerian graduates came out for a sham immigration recruitment exercise after 1,500naira had been dubiously collected from them by president jonathans minister of interior Aba Moro, only to discover that they'v been scammed over a non-exisiting job

19 jobless youth died
several injured
certificates and other documents missing

PRESIDENT GOODLUCK EBELE AZIKIWE JONATHAN HAS FAILED THE NIGERIAN YOUTH
This is why he should be EVICTED from ASO ROCK in 2015! The money collected from these youths were never refunded! Even the victims of the flood disaster have been forgotten.

PoliticsRe: Mr. Pastor, Stop Preaching Nonsense! by joseph1832(m): 7:03am On Oct 20, 2014
OP: I listen to that particular message and I mus say the guy sure raised a whole lot of fact. But as a sensible Nigerian I question his motive.

I have a copy of the Nigerian constitution and his claims were true about Islam and muslims being mention there. Also there's no mention of the six geo-political zones there, all I saw where the states and local government. Etc.

So are you saying he's lying?. He has made strong points that a sane mind shouldn't sweep under the carpet.

In line with that I see no reason whatsoever why I'll even support him because even he too is not clean by praising Machine Gun Oritsejafor! That pastor has skeletons in his cupboard! So do many of them.

OP I tell you: evil must never be tolerated and accommodated in whatever form. I say this to all who want to hear: "christians and muslims are the very reason why Nigeria remain a backward country".

do u think that will still be possible? even after they have dishonored the ceasefire agreement?

Yea they made mention of releasing those girls either in Saudi or somewhere, but with this late development ,I don't think its still going to work.these guys are just sick
Let's wait and see.
PoliticsRe: Peace Talks Split Boko Haram Into Two Groups by joseph1832(m):
Did the FG believe Boko Haram to be a single entity?!. Kai! I wonder the kind of people who are leading us...

Imagine them saying they don't believe Boko Haram have negated the cease fire. Well news flash: Be it the faction you signed the cease fire agreement with or not, the thing is, Nigerians are dying in their thousands and you GEJ, owe it to us to protect us.

Do your job! And stop trying to save face!.
PoliticsRe: Boko Haram Beheads 6 In Borno After Ceasefire Agreement by joseph1832(m): 6:40am On Oct 20, 2014
I wonder why you guys are surprised! It is not the same military who came out to tell the whole world that they know where the kidnapped girls are? If they did know where they are why haven't they attempt a rescue operation(cover or overt).

I believe Danladi Ahmadu said the girls would be release either this Monday or Tuesday. Let's wait and see.

To me anyway, all this is just propaganda, a government which has failed in all ramification to do the very thing its suppose to do trying so hard to save face.

No probs, ask Buharians to do same.
It's called politics
As defined by Harold Lasswell "who gets what, when and how". So even though Jonathanians rushed to help their 'oga at the top' out of a steep position he still won by a narrow margin.

This shows GEJ has a stiff opposition in GMB. But as we all know e-voting is different from voting in the polling units. GMB doesn't stand a chance why? Because the PDP has a notorious record of rigging elections.
