And what will happen to those who were blown to smitherings?, those who lost properties?, those who were misplaced?, those who lost loved ones?, those who lost limbs and body parts?, those who were slaughtered like rams meant for illeya?.
I tell you: This government has failed us tremendously, the innocent blood shed will cry out loud just like the blood of Abel cried out in the Bible.
We should all weep that our government can not even quell this Boko Haram insurgency instead they decide to agree to a useless cease fire. A cease fire talk that the spokes man for Boko Haram Abubakar Shekau whom everybody in the known galaxy knows did not even attend. |

His religious faith itself! It breeds fanatics, murderers, rapists, sodomy, fraudsters, egomaniacs and self appointed judges and juries. |

Orunto: This developing campaign scenario is majestic for Nigeria. I like it. Kudos to Nairaland! Shoes and clothes that GEJ didn't have were his reasons for his steadfastness in Prayers. God heard him and blessed him not only with more Riches&Wealth, but with Wisdom, Knowledge, Understanding, Power and Might to strengthen his Faith and Hope in the Greater Nigeria starting next year. GEJ is the Incumbent. God has trained him so far and he will use that Training to continue till 2019 God bless GEJ. God bless Nigeria. Everything good is attributed to God and everything bad is attributed to satan, aren't you guys tired of being lead by the nose?. |

In my honest opinion: I don't think so, why? Because the common Nigerian now knows the "air is not fresh" and Mr President has more than one shoe. |
Politics › Re: No Governor Can Take Credit For Wining Ebola War – Jonathan by joseph1832(m): 10:03am On Oct 17, 2014 |
To me I believe much credit and praise need to go to the doctors and nurses who were the first responder to the Ebola outbreak. I say this because they took time and did what many Nigerians will not do in life threatening situations such as the Ebola outbreak. They contained and quarantined Mr sawyer for I know a typical Nigerian will "Sare kagba kagba".
Also I'll want to say the Lagos State government needs to be applauded. Their timely response is second to non.
Lastly Mr President just told all Nigerians that the Lagos and Rivers governors were the ones who successfully contained the virus. If indeed the federal government were the ones who contained it, Mr president will waste no time in accrediting the success to his government. This is election time and winning points now is crucial. He knows he did not do jack sh.it that's why he's saying Nigerians are the ones who successfully contained the virus, the governors of Rivers and Lagos state are Nigerians too you know.
What better way to shy away from the truth than to deal in abstracts. |

aguiyi: Nigerians and misplaced priorities
are we looking for someone who can win a debate or someone who can make and implement policies that has human face and will meet the need of the common man Dude misplaced priorities doesn't have any place on this thread. This is merely an opinion, not a standard fact!. |
Politics › Re: Fashola Vs GEJ Who Do You Think Will Win In A Presidential Debate?. by joseph1832(op): 2:12pm On Oct 16, 2014 |
aguiyi: been an orator or a good public speaker does not make one a good leader automatically.
who cares about elitist minded people anyway.
a tribalist (he deported my people but joined in raising alarm when we wanted to register other people in our zones)
an infidel (according to their religion)
with all of Obama's oratory and public speaking abilities, how far . ISIS is daring america today, Russia is calling their bluff, china has over taken them as the largest economy in the word. Even Nigeria called their bluff on the gay law, did any of this happen before he came to power? I beg to defer!. What's your definition of good?. |
Politics › Fashola Vs GEJ Who Do You Think Will Win In A Presidential Debate?. by joseph1832(op): 12:23pm On Oct 16, 2014 |
I believe we all know the history of Fashola and GEJ, how they came from absolutely nothing to become power movers in the Federal Republic Of Nigeria.
This got me thinking: observing the humble beginning of both of them(being that they are both products of the Nigerian university system which many say is sub-standard) and actually utilizing the necessary skills and manpower available to both of them presently. If these two men actually engage in a presidential debate, who in your candid opinion do you think will emerge victorious?.
Your unbias opinions will highly be appreciated.
Thank you. |

teechudley: it is good to know that you believe the ancestors were saints. I'm happy for you. Because frm my point of view, I see many great grand mothers telling the story of how they came to have six kids for four men. I bleed with you, in terms of our neeed to be less western tho. You are right. We are quickly losing our identity as Africans, trying so hard.to adopt a culture that will never accept us. Don't quote me wrong! I never said our ancestors were saint. They did unthinkable things like the killing of twins, but they did it out of ignorance. They were never trying to mimic anybody. Please kindly explain your emphasis on our ancestors having six kids for four different men. |

teechudley: I don't believe indecent dressing, is being celebrated in nigeria today o. Even homosexuality has been labelled as a crime in Nigeria, and adultery is still seriously frowned upon I don't think people celebrate all these sets of people and their life choices in Nigeria today. But it is still done in secret, just as it was in the olden days. Let's be realistic. How old are you? If you think adultery is committed in secret then you don't know what's happening around you. And I tell you adultery is not even frown upon, the rate at which married men cheat on their wives is alarming, also the rate at which single girls chase after married men is worse, they tell you they won't date single guys because single guys love attachment and doesn't spend money like a married man. Indecent dressing is almost seen as a norm in Nigeria today, this also relates to things which were frown upon in the days of old. |

But you didnt answer my question, and believe you me, forgiveness is certain to all them that believe, 'that whosoever believe in Him shall not perish', but you cant just sit on the fence. The world is of two. Those who are for GOD, and those who aren't. It's time to decide, will you choose to be against GOD? In this sin-infested and devil-controlled world! The world is of two according to christianity and islam right?. So what about shintoism, confusianism, hinduism, zionism, buddhism etc?. And please ask that question again and I'll give you a honest answer. |

But tell me, if were to decide what form of punishment to be mete out to the person who has caused so much pain and suffering from the begining of time, all the deaths, wars, voilence, destruction humanity has seen. Who, persistently kept up with this acts, despite the numerous gestures of reconciliation offered to him by his maker. Knowing that no physical pain can hurt him. How will you have him punished? What would be ur sentence? You speak of punishment when your Bible readily speak of forgiveness. |

Ashonibarenla: you seem so prepared to paint GOD as the villain he isn't. Our earthly fathers punish us for little or no reason at all, and we dont disown them, yet we are ready to tear down at GOD, who, despite our sins and shortcomings didnt mind seeing HIS only son being crucufied for the sins your fore-fathers and mine so gladly committed. All HE is asking for is a chance in your life, our lives. Is that too much of a father to ask of HIS children? FOR GOD SO LOVE THE WORLD!!! If the world would only reciprocate that world. Yeah yeah yeah... Mind you, no earthly father will willingly throw his son or daughter into the lake of fire, despite whatever sin he or she might have committed. |
