CareerRe: Nigerians And Their Graduate Mentality by joseph1832(m): 6:11pm On Oct 07, 2014
Well you have a point OP. You should know not everybody can be an entrepreneur, not everybody will take solace in the fact that they are "moi moi or akara sellers".

We live in a country where money revolves round everything, how much you earn determines the type of respect people give you.

To me a graduate who graduated with at least a 2.2 has nothing whatsoever selling moi moi and akara. Some people might look at that graduate and say he or she is lazy.

Even teachers are not respected in Nigeria talkless of moi moi or akara sellers.
HealthRe: How The World Media Is Celebrating Nigeria's Ebola Victory Pictures And Video by joseph1832(m): 5:59pm On Oct 07, 2014
If you ask me I think the world at large need to commend not just Nigeria, but particularly the Lagos State government for acting swiftly in placing those infected with the EVD in isolation.

To me much kudos goes to the Lagos State government and the resident of Lagos State.

Congratulations Nigeria, congratulations to the people of Lagos State. Una sharpness and over sabi mentality finally proves useful after all.
CareerRe: It Is A Fallacy That No Knowledge Is a Wasted one by joseph1832(m): 11:00am On Oct 07, 2014
I believe "no knowledge is a waste" falls under the fallacy "argumentum ad ignoratiam.

To me, it has to do with the individual: If an individual feels no knowledge is a waste, that his or her problem. If another individual feels otherwise, that's his or her problem.

I believe religion (christianity and islam) is also a fallacy.
PoliticsRe: Charlie Boy Any Entertainer In Politics Is Treacherous by joseph1832(m): 8:31am On Oct 07, 2014

So because I am an entertainer, I've automatically lost the right to be voted for? What sort of weed do some people smoke in this country?
Of course you have the right to vote and be voted for. If you pay attention to detail, Charly Boy is asking if the have the onus for politics.

Nigerian politics reeks...
PoliticsRe: 1966 Coup Plotters Planned To Hand Over Power To Awo, Says Ofeimun by joseph1832(m): 8:21am On Oct 07, 2014
OP your post is accurate. Captain Nzeogwu of the NAF was to fly Awolowo to Lagos to take over power. All these were present in the Jan 15 1966 coup blueprint.

Even Adewale Ademoyega confirmed this, but you know Nigerians: we never listen; always like following the bandwagon of illitrate and uninformed opinion.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Talks Tough, Warns South Africa Over Seized $5.7 Million arms Money by joseph1832(m): 8:10am On Oct 07, 2014
I never knew South Africa manufacture arms and ammunition. And some people will say "Nigeria is the giant of Africa". How can a country be termed giant when all she does is consume and consume ad infinitum.

I guess is true then: "an average Nigerian man is in between a white slowpoke and a chimpanzee".

This will be the third eclipse am witnessing.
PoliticsRe: Is Political Science Actually Overrated And Irrelevant ? by joseph1832(m): 9:26pm On Oct 05, 2014
OP: I my opinion Pol/Sci is not overrated, it can never be. No course is overrated, every course has its finest point. Our country like someone said is full of abnormalities that's why things that are suppose to be normal aren't.

The trick is not in the course you study but how well you allow And applied what you studied.
PoliticsRe: Why Africans Hate Nigerians So Much by joseph1832(m):
Among all mentioned, I'll want to say, we Nigerians are unique, and unique is a term I use in refering to things that are ambiguous to comprehend; For example: It is only a Nigerian man who will arguably use his mother for ritual just to become rich.
