Christianity EtcRe: Do You Think God Will Lose His Value If Everybody Becomes Rich ? by joseph1832(m): 9:01am On Oct 26, 2014
In Nigeria, there's a big possibility because majority of people who call on God do so because they seek success (money) in whatever they're doing.

But reality check: everybody can not become rich! If everybody is rich then its total collapse of the polity.

Check U.S and England for example, not eveybody is rich, there are still poor people there, but they poor have access to the basic things of life, which are readily cheap. All the more reason why you see that on weekends in England, almost everyone goes to the stadium to watch football.

Give Nigeria an economy as strong as England and you'll see that the 'God' factor is erased and relegated to the background.

The minister for transportation merely endorsed the idea. Towards the end he clearly made all and sundry to know that phasing out okadas is a job of the thieving state governments and or local governments.

I hear you Mr Please read before you comment!. In English language what does 'endorse' mean?.

They'll get the assurance they need and should GEJ win 2015, PEJ will become more meddlesome than ever. "A man who can't control his wife can never govern a country".
PoliticsRe: New Auto Policy Will Create 700,000 Jobs - FG by joseph1832(m): 7:01am On Oct 26, 2014
Yep, automobile policy will create 700,000 jobs. Just like GEJ came out and said his administration has created 2.5million jobs. Yet you still see graduates flock in the vacancy section on Nairaland to try and secure a job and you notice many still carrying their C.V up and down.
Nairaland GeneralRe: FG To Ban Commercial Motorcycles Nationwide by joseph1832(m): 6:54am On Oct 26, 2014
When I tell people that the FG has a master plan to keep the Nigerian masses poor as a way to ensure their compliance during election, people will say am a conspiracy theorist.

The FG wants to ban Okada, surely before they do this or even propose the ban adequate measures would have been put in place to rehabilate the Okada riders and they ought to have provided alternate means of transport for the Nigerian populace.

Later the FG will start distributing two derica of rice to secure the support of this very people they're made their lives a living hell!.

khattab02:
If u ask INEC they will say ''yes we are ready!'' but wait till the elections come closer then you will see some irregularities. It will be pathetic for us to have same situations and irregularities of 2011.
Professor Jega has been as silent as the word silent. Everybody in Nigeria seems to have forgotten INEC exist, all they focus on is Buhari and Jonathan, I wonder if INEC is not prepared whether they'll have the credible election they're all clamouring for.
PoliticsIs Inec Really Prepared For The 2015 Election?. by joseph1832(op): 8:37am On Oct 24, 2014
Judging from the amount of irregularities that plagued the 2011 presidential and gubernatorial election and with the electorates complaining that election materials didn't get to the polling unit on time, one would have hoped or even believed that by this time Professor Attahiru Jega would have approached the NASS with the exact figure needed to successfully conduct the February 2015 election successfully.

I believe by now adequate measure should have been put in place to ensure the smooth conduct of the 2015 election, as well as the protection of not just the lives of the electorates but the electoral officers as well.

I would hate to see a repeat of what happened in the 2011 elections where corp members were murdered for carrying out duties. Even the Jonathanians and Buharians have totally forgot Professor Jega and INEC, all we see and hear is propaganda and abuses....

This is no publicity stunt my brother. It doesn't follow and it smells like shit.

Ask yourself this: doesn't all federal government vehicles carry the plate number with FG attached to it? Why in the name of Anubis does the pictures above have plate numbers that doesn't have the FG insignia?.

Unless the OP proves otherwise, I say: lies, lies all lies and we see through all the facade of the FG!. I stand corrected!, just had the pictures mailed to me. But really driving home made Nigerian cars will not alleviate the sufferings of the Nigerian masses!.

The House of Representatives n Wednesday
approved President Goodluck Jonathan's request
for a $1 billion loan to fight the Boko Haram-led
insurgency.
The House, during Wednesday plenary session,
towed the line of the red chamber which had
approved the request.
All the four clauses contained in the report of the
House Committees on Aids, Loans and Debt
Management and Finance on the external
borrowing of not more than $1 billion "to tackle
the national security challenges in the country"
were considered and carried.
www.thisdaylive.com/articles/boko-haram-house-okays-1billion-loan-for-jonathan/191938/
I don't understand this government. They approve $1 billion dollars for the FG to fight Boko Haram and the FG is busy negotiating a cease fire deal with Boko Haram?!.

Does this really follow or do they really think and believe some Nigerians are as stupid and hungry like they believe?.

This is a sham and its reeks of lies, deception and fraud!.

FamilyRe: BEATING YOUR KIDS; Discipline Or Abuse? by joseph1832(m): 7:25am On Oct 23, 2014
The severity of the act committed depends on the kind of punishment the child gets.

Let's face the truth: kids now a days are too smart and just too bold to be left unchecked all in the name of pampering. I've never been a believer of pampering a child. In fact I am a supporter of flogging...

These kids now a days will willingly disobey their parents just to see what they'll do.

APContherun:
You guys are so funny. Wage deregulation doesn't necessarily entail salary reduction but a removal of wages and salaries matter from the exclusive list to the concurrent list so that both the FG and state givts determine and decide what they pay their workers. This is against the present practice where wages and salaries ofboth FG, state and LGs workers are fixed by the National Salaries and Wages Commision an agency of the FG. If the move succeds state govts will have their own agencies that will be responsible for fixing workers salaries.
State govts will now fix salaries depending on the economy of the state involved.
Labour knows this move will drastically reduce the powers of the labour unions and that's why they fight.
I hear you, how come the NASS didn't deregulate their own wages so that we the masses can decide what they take home at the end of the month? Abeg make I hear word bros.

During the administration of OBJ there was slight increase in the salaries of civil servants, now in GEJ administration they want to reduce it! Haba! In the spirit of oneness and equity why didn't the NASS reduce their massive take home pay. And some people here will say GEJ till 2019.
