I still don't get this: when it comes to paying of tithes and sowing of seeds, you'll see this hypocrites who call themselves christians be in the forefront of this chivalry, but when it comes to paying their workers salary, it's a whole new ballgame, many of them even owe up to 3 months salary without blinking an eye lid, they will even use the money meant for peoples salary to pay tithes and sow seeds. Believing God will bless them. |
Its simple,They've not fulfilled the socratic dictum: "man know thyself". For any man who truly knows himself, will never feel inferior to any man, be him an american or south african. "Education is an eye opener". |
Sagamite: Yep, you are right! You find all sort of people in social media bro, i guess you can call them, the good, the bad, and the ugly. Life's not a bed of roses boss. |
Well this is not far from the truth as the OP said, but the OP should know that not all youth who parade themselves on social media as vehement supporters of politicians are being paid to do it. Some are driven by the basic Nigerian instinct which I call, tribalism and ethnic sentiment. |
Ok. So how has this piece of news affect world peace? |
I get tired and ask myself this question: What kind of country are we living in?. If it was a Lagos landlord whose building collapsed I believe he will be in custody of the police and the Lagos state government would have taken some kind of action against him. Now why is this man T.B Joshua being visited by the president? His building collapsed so? Is his building the only building to have ever collapsed?. From 2013 to this present time I believe building would have collapse in some part of the federation, why didn't the president visit any of the site? Is it because its a so called man of God that's why the president visited.... Once upon a time in Nigeria there was the issue of flooding, what happened to those who were displaced, lost properties and more importantly, lost loved ones?. To me: This visit is a sham and it reeks of falsehood and also like the president only visited as a means to foster his 2015 re-election: we shouldn't forget many christians are fools and would do whatever their pastors tell them. The sooner why start asking the right questions the better we our children in this land called Nigeria. |
focus7: Your opinion and a waste of time, while u do dis he busy moving forward and break new ground for new results.Yes! He moves forward but at whose expense? |
berem: David Oledepo- scamming his congregation since 1940.Your church too has also scammed, maimed and murder people since the 1000AD. How dare you point fingers?. |
I believe the bishop doesn't really know how much an average Nigerian earn!. Any Nigerian who can spend up to N1 million on burial or party is not average at all. |
OmoNwa: Why do I have this feeling that catholic bishops just want to be in the news this period of Ayo saga, the insurgency has been in the country for long, y are they more vocal nowAtleast they are speaking against the blood bath going on in the north east! The question should be asking is: why is the muslim clergy quiet? Why haven't they come out and criticize and lampoon Boko Haram?, why is the muslim ummah so quiet?, why is the Sultan Of Sokoto the pioneer speaker and supporter for amnesty for Boko Haram as quiet as a dead man. These muslims know how to shout and issue death threats when it comes to homosexuality but keep absolutely mute when it comes to killing innocent people. Makes you wonder if these people are sane at all. Religion is a weapon, a weapon that has destroyed more lives than the atomic bomb!. |
Freiburger: So intresting....Thank you!. |
teechudley: This does not even begin to identify the problems that have been caused by westernization. No doubt these things have been in existence but I ask: where these things celebrated in rural and pre colonial Nigeria? I believe you did your research about what our ancestors did to people who fornicate, commit adultery talk less of homosexuality!. My points are very strong and hold a lot of water my good man. Thanks for reading. |
teeowl: now that's definitely 60% internet anger - you need to get to 100% full blown internet anger...There's a saying: "Never argue with a fool because he will defeat you with experience". You just prove this saying right my friend. |
teeowl: do i smell internet anger?... you need to get a life... i smile in portugeseINDEED! A fool you truly are!. |
onila: FREE HIMFree who? I am not enslave to him, infact I can never be enslaved by the likes of him who can't smell their own bullshit and perceive their own narrow mindedness. |
teeowl: ...looking for wife on nairaland... i shake my head in chinese mandarin...:/Guy go sleep inside gutter jare. Read my signature and read yours I believe people will know "who's looking for wife on nairaland". |

shegsky: Your Senator's Monthly Booties: N29.48mln!!!Please where's your source? Kindly post the link. |
teeowl: that's her favorite theme... romance & sexuality....How do you know? Because she comments there all the time? Dude leave her be, the last time I checked nairaland members are still free to comment on any topic they choose to be it in sexuality section or tech section. |
teeowl: go back to romance & sexuality section and keep creating different stories on how you are still maintaining your "virginity" - leave the politics section alone!Dude why the personal attack? You make it sound as if she's tied to the sexuality and romance section alone?. |
Abegi make we hear word joor! Every time resume this C.V that. Are you trying to tell me that if GEJ is my uncle or even if Atiku is my distant relative even if I graduate with a pass from a university I will not get a good job in Nigeria. People should know that your C.V or resume is not a necessary criteria for you to get that dream job. All you need to is for you to know one big shot and Voila! You are home free for there's a saying: "when in Rome, think and behave like the Romans". So when in Naija think and behave like the Nigerian. Nigeria is a country where nepotism thrive beyond meritocracy. It's a country where genius' bow before fools and morons. So what are you telling me?. Abeg make una leave matter for mathayas. |
Proverbs 29:2 Reads: When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice but when the wicked rule, the people mourn. |
I believe its becoming very lucid this pastor doesn't have any concrete reason to attest for the collapsed building. Rather than make amend by sharing a bag of rice to people who lost their families, he decides to go all Nigerian and give flimsy excuses just like the federal government of Nigeria. Pastor T.B joshua, Nigerians are not as gullible as you think. You should know the Lagos state government is not the federal government. |
berem: Because majority of Nigerians are so gullible. You can't blame them because they have been brainwashed along ethnic and religious lines to believe anything. My dear ethnicity didn't brainwash any body. Ethnic leaders don't promise people short cuts to heaven, neither do they promise people wealth and success. It is religion!!!. Why do you think the F.G is so close to CAN?. How do you think GEJ won his 2011 election? He use religious sentiment: He's a christian; Hausa's and muslims have ruled Nigeria for too long then he's from the minority tribe who are majorly christian. Religion my dear is what the average Nigerian man holds dear to his heart. It's even now more potent then his tradition. |
helpee: Why are Nigerians so quick to criticise every move this government makes to secure their lives. Intelligence world knows that such practice is commonplace the world over with everybody involved from FBI, KGB and everybody. To an average Nigerian, the money is either being laundered or FG is sponsoring book haram. Rubbish! There are two possibilities..... One is that Nigeria security need those military hardware so fast and so urgent that they can't wait to follow normal diplomatic channels. It happens world over. If book haram is about to attack Maiduguri and you know it will happen in a few days and diplomatic means of getting hardware takes weeks you go through the backdoor and use cash! Second scenario is that you want to buy wares that the International community are not willing to sell. In that case you go through private negotiators to get d arms through the backdoor. Nigeria is in war! You defend your territory first before u start talking about due process . Another reason for the transaction maybe to beat d Mole! It is obvious that book haram has infiltrated the military so much they will know what Fg is buying and when it will arrive if you use normal channels. With cash nobody knows what you are buying and when. I can bet my life the deal was done because of one or all d above reasons but FG can never come to say so cos such information require maximum classification. Be informed Nigerians. The international community will not defend Nigeria..... Only FG will and in War all is fair. Nigerians should realise that d FG is not dumb to quickly admit the money is theirs if something unheard of has happened. Only intelligent comments plsImagine the U.S.A, Russia, China even South Africa and Egypt buying arms in times like this. Mr man please stop saying what you really can't comprehend. According to your reasons: A country only needs to stop purchasing arms when its at war?. What happened to the motor of the boy scout "Be Prepared". Any country that knows it onus will arm its military to the teeth whether there's war or not. If the government really know what they are doing they would have equipped the military from day one not wait for Boko Haram or Niger Delta Militants of whatever blood thirsty group to unleash mayhem on it's citizens before they try and use fire brigade approach to purchase arms and ammunitions. |
I got tired from reading so I'll say this: Has Google ever offered to buy Linda Ikeji's blog? Google offered that to Seun Osewa. |

A friend once told me that they've never love the fact that non catholic is d CAN president. I doubted it then but now, I don't know what to believe again
... go get angry with somebody in real life and not in the virtual world... or keep flying off the handle.... nobody cares...8-)
