Ensure you send as many webforms as possible, it will be updated you might not get a reply.

Regards,

Succeed04:
Please house,

I applied for visitor visa since 2020, no update yet. During the wait, my passport expired, I applied for renewal and I uploaded it through webform using Nairobi webform

Will I get a reply regarding the passport upload?
Cos I didn't get a reply just an Auto reply message. Or should I keep sending the webform till I get a reply.?

Thanks

Hi there,

I am sorry to hear about your visa refusal, i would like to ask, did you relocate to the UK via the study route?
Although many people applied from the UK and got approved, whilst others got refused, it is often advisable to apply from your home country where you have many ties.

You can apply as visitors, but it might raise some concerns to the VO, especially just being refused a study permit.
I often advise people not to relocate on Visiting Visas.

The percentage of getting a job is solely attached to how hard you can try and luck.

Regards,

desi10mi:
Good day all!
Please,  my family (a family of four) just relocated to the UK from Nigeria last October, 2022, via student visa with the plan of moving to Canada.
I once applied to Canada in 2021, but my study permit was denied.Someone advised that we try a visitor or tourist visa to Canada.

Please, how good is this, and if we go through this route, can we sure get a job, and can the children go to school?

Hi,

Do it one after the other.

You don't understand my question.
Are we to send to all emails at once or “to the emails one by one”
TravelRe: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by josephb(m): 9:55pm On May 29, 2023
The first question, if you check the Canadian study thread you will find out that most guys with Msc (Some of them declared the Msc) applied for PGD OR PGC and still got the visa, but my own concern is the long term effect.

Secondly, the husband can apply for PGD OR PGC whilst the wife applies for SOWP, no need for the wife to apply for any study since she has a higher degree already.

Oluseun234:
@ashirioluwa & @josephb

Oh! Thank you for your honest replies. We are grateful for this direction.

Okay now, for the guy who had an MSc from a top university in Netherlands, he has tried Canada EXPRESS ENTRY but to no desirable results for years so what should he apply for to enter Canada LEGITIMATELY & QUICKLY since work visa from Nigeria is almost impossible and also does not have family ties in Canada and not yet married:

Should he apply for:
a) Conference visa as a listener and his visa applications be approved
b) or a professional MBA/ Executive MBA (is he eligible for this and can he choose a cheap one and not be denied a visa)
c) Tourist visa

2) There is a couple who are planning to travel and want me to also throw their plight on this platform:

Husband only has an undergraduate degree (BSc) from a Nigerian University; Wife had both BSc and MSc in the UK plus a discontinued MSc without thesis Programme in Turkey in 2019. In addition, the wife has a small family-owned start-up company whose services are mainly done online.

They consulted with a travel agent. The husband wants to apply for a postgraduate diploma in Canada. Is he eligible to enroll for such degree type? This was suggested to him by the agent due to his sponsor's financial account.

Then the agent suggested the wife to apply for a programme too in Canada because he claimed that she might not be given a visa to accompany her husband who is going to study. They do not know if their agent is only saying this to charge them more. They googled on their own and found that as a dependent, she could opt for Spousal Open Work Permit as a dependent travelling along.
Pls is it true that if she goes for the Spousal visa, she will not be issued a visa and if you two are skeptical about someone with an MSc graduate opting for PGD. I dont think she should apply for an MSc programme as well. Pls your advice. Many thanks

You received the PPR this night?

fummms:
UPDATE! PPR came in for my partner
Application: 17th of Oct 2022
BVL: April 28 2023
Visa Number update: I noticed around 1st May 2023
PPR: May 29 2023
Duration: 8 years

I finally sent emails yesterday and 1 webform, and PPR came in today.
TravelRe: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by josephb(m):
Loool, it can only give you access to some few places, like Mexico, Belize, Costa Rica, Nicaragua and the likes, although it’s also a powerful visa but not as powerful as a Schengen, UK or USA.

Also a Canadian Visa can be used to enter the UK when you are on a transit to Canada, you can request for a 24-hour maximum at the Heathrow Airport. (Must hold the boarding pass for the onward flight, Onward flight must be within 24 hours (on the same day or the next day before midnight)
Granting the 24-hour entry is at the sole discretion of the immigration officer).

Regards,

phyla:
Can someone please list out the countries one can visit with a canadian visa.
Thank you
TravelRe: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by josephb(m): 6:53pm On May 29, 2023
Except He doesn't want to declare His Msc, not declaring might have a negative impact later on, especially during His PR application.

Ashirioluwa:
@Oluseun234

IRCC Canada doesn't follow any rules as per the timeframe when processing applicants' visa applications because some people who applied for visas this year, in 2023, already know their fate, while others who applied as far back as 2019 are still awaiting for decisions.

Is it possible for you to get it within 3 months? The answer is yes, but I don't want you to hold on to this because the current processing time for applications from Nigeria is 779 days.

Please stay away from all these agents who are marketing Canada work visas because most of them are nothing but fake.

I must say this: I think I find it strange for an MSC graduate to apply for a postgraduate diploma.

Hi,

Congratulations, which email did you send to that replied you immediately?

Regards,

lekefew:
We applied for visitor visa btw... for tourism, not even to visit family or anything like that. So if it was my email that did the trick, I guess everyone should try and send them emails if you have received BVL and have visa number already on the tracker. Here's the email I sent just for anyone who needs it

Dear Visa Officer,

My name is [name here], I am writing to you regarding the application for Temporary Residents Visa for myself and my family. The application was submitted on November 19, 2022

My wife and I received a biometric verification letter on April 23 and 27 2023 respectively without a decision, I also received a letter to submit additional documents (birth certificate) for our daughter on May 18 2023 which I submitted on the same day.

The absence of the decision letter is preventing us from making appropriate travel plans as a family.

We are scheduled for a Schengen visa interview on May 31 2023, on that day, we will be submitting our passport for the Schengen visa. We are worried that our passport might still be at the Visa office for Schengen when we get a decision from Canada and we will be unable to take any action. We just recently had a similar issue a few weeks back when I submitted my passport to the US embassy for the renewal of my visa, the embassy took longer than expected in returning my passport and it affected other travel plans that I had made for another country. I had to cancel a hotel booking from booking.com which I have yet to receive a refund for till today and it's not looking like i will be getting a refund.

We are hoping to avoid a similar occurrence which is why we have decided to postpone our Schengen visa interview date till July. However, the July postponement will only work if we get a decision from Canada soon. In the absence of a decision, we would have to keep postponing the interview because of the fear of having our passport at the Schengen visa office if we get a passport request from Canada.

I kindly request your understanding and compassion in considering our visa application. Approving it would make planning our summer holiday easier as my wife and I are yet to take a single day off from work since 2020. Thank you for your attention, and I eagerly await your favorable decision.

Applicant Information

Name of applicant:
UCI:
Application number:

I should also point out that i received a reply immediately saying that they did not receive my submission for my daughter's birth certificate on the portal, so I had to resend it by email, and it was day 9 out of the 10 days they gave me to submit. If I didn't send the email, I would never have known and Mayne we would have been denied for that reason. My point is, it's a good idea to send the email

I want to believe most of whom are Students.
Hi Beautiful Lady🫣

apeleone:
The crowd there is overwhelming for both drop off and pick up(in-person).
TravelRe: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by josephb(m): 3:02pm On May 28, 2023
Loool

Emmafe:
Are you a VO? How did you know it will take 6 weeks?
TravelRe: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by josephb(m): 3:00pm On May 28, 2023
Yeah right, I guess they do not want to flood the VFS with crowd, hence the reason for dropping it one by one.

apeleone:
I hope you get it this week. It has been approved but don't understand the delay in sending passport request. What l observed when I picked up my passport is that the approval date on the visa is same with date I received my BVL.
Fingers crossed
TravelRe: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by josephb(m): 4:36am On May 28, 2023
No darling still waiting, have you gotten back your passport?

apeleone:
Any update on your application?
TravelRe: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by josephb(m): 7:57pm On May 27, 2023
Are you sure?
There is a section of the application form that asks for UCI, from experience i think the biometrics is generated from your UCI because UCI is constant it doesn't change unlike the Visa Application Number.

Regards,

charmingsamson:
Just fill new application online on the new portal with the same full name and your biometric number will appear on the portal with expiry date. Thank me later
TravelRe: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by josephb(m): 8:30pm On May 25, 2023
I noted that you applied to see your family, you can try draft one and let the VO know the urgency.

Those guys can take their time busy doing nothing.

Kemexy:
Hello everyone. Is it okay for me to send an emotional email to those email addresses as well, even though I have not gotten BVL yet and only my background check has started?
I know that most of the people sending emails have gotten their BVL and are just waiting for PPR. But it's really important that I travel soon and someone that applied at the same time with me has gotten PPR since April.
TravelRe: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by josephb(m): 6:16pm On May 25, 2023
Yes if he wants,

But if you know your UCI number, your biometrics will auto pop up during your next submission.

AskGod07:
Hello everyone, if happen someone applied for Canada visa in the past through an agent and the agent disclosed before he late that they denied the applicant, but he didn’t release the email ,password and IRCC login before he was late.

Note: the applicant truly did biometric but the agent didn’t release the biometric papers to him before he late.

Now the applicant wanted to reapply for Canadian tourist visa but he couldn’t have the biometric info because the agent that helped him as died.

Can he do another biometric now if he wanted to reapply ?

Have you sent any documents or sent in any mail for contacts' change or anything prior to now?

zeb04:
Guys, after sending my ''urgent mail'' my tracker was update to May 25th but no visible changes, What could this mean ?
TravelRe: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by josephb(m): 5:06pm On May 25, 2023
Hi,

You could have sent the new passports through the link given on your portal and also use webforms and emails, those guys are not really serious, I think their webforms and mails are full of many messages and junks, you could have sent it multiple times.

Things like that they don't send it once, you would have sent it like 50 times, they will be the one to tell you it's okay we have received it.

growersfarm:
My husband and I were refused the Canadian visa today and the reason for refusal was we didn't upload our new passport which we did 2 weeks before the 30days grace period. We applied January 2021. We have a valid USA visa and we've been to other countries. We've sent them an email. What else should we do? Thanks for your response
TravelRe: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by josephb(m): 2:10pm On May 25, 2023
I am not sure this is applicable for Visitors, just for Study permit, Work permit or; Super visa and it's LOI, whilst others call it POE.

Regards,

Emmafe:
Those that have received stamped passport, did you also received POE letter?

NO,

Do you have a visa number on the tracker?

If you do, many people with visa numbers have been getting PPR.
