I applied for visitors visa in 2021 so my wife can give birth in canada, we just got the visas approved this month for me, my wife and the older kids.

The issue now is this, how do i apply for my new baby? will it be faster? and should i use my own portal to apply?

It shows you didn't read my message very well, I simple said that the prioritize people going to visit Family member(s), if you are for tourism and the likes, you need to keep waiting for your PPR especially if your application is a group one..

Hehehe, IRCC doesn't work like that, you might even get PPR today or anytime soon, those guys do not work in a chronological manner.

No PPR yet. The very reason I am even confirming with you is so that I can gladly brace up with the waiting time between BVL and PPR 😏. The application was submitted on October 30th

Apply immediately then send a webform after submission with an attached data page and visa page of yours. PLEASE REMEMBER TO ADD FATHER'S CONSENT AND DATA PAGE TO YOUR BABY'S APPLICATION ELSE YOUR APPLICATION WLL BE DELAYED

I have learned in the past days that webforms sent with attached files get acknowledgements faster and updated on tracker.

I am a Professor of sending webforms now, in records I am way above 250 now.

But sadly they reply me with good news instead of the warning message, because once they warn you like this, your PPR will drop next day.

We have been waiting since 5th May 2023.

Realistically, We need to be in Toronto latest end of June or max first week of next month and truthfully my webforms and emails are far more than 250.

They have replied me more than 10 times, they said we are on queue waiting for PPR, but i actually want the warning mails so PPR can drop.

Was your application also a group?

You should ask the PPR with respect ooo, these guys haven't released it despite been a renewal and I have sent over 250 webforms and mails.

Please put respect when calling PPR.

Hey @Josephb, have you gotten the ppr and is your visa number already updated on the tracker?

Did she attach any assets or evidence of properties?
If she didn't previously, let her attach one in the new application that is after her visa has been stamped please, else they might hold the passport for as long as they wish or even return it back without visa, it has happened before so that's not new.

You said a visa is visiting and you want to auto work with it, I guess you are saying this because Canada became lenient with issuing visiting visa especially from backlogs.

What is your main reason for visiting?

From experience, I have come to a conclusion that they prioritize people with immediate family member(s) or very close friends and associates.

But if you are for tourism purposes or general visiting you are on your own even if you are renewing.

Today is another day for PPR hopefuls. Please pray for us!!! 🙏🙏🙏. I have been expecting since April 29th when BVL was received plus visa details. Mails and webforms have been explored.

This response is a Generic one, to be sure of the main reason(s) you need to order a GCMS note, but I still believe it might still bores down to the finance.

But also, was the child later asked for any further documents like The other parent consent, Father’s Passport Data page? Normally if one parent is traveling with a child there has to be a consent of the other parent which IRCC often ask for to continue processing the visa application, if this was not received on time it can lead to denial and only a GCMS note can state the main reasons.

Please a Collegue of mine applied for Canada Visit Visa with her 4 year Old, She was approved the visit visa and she as seen her Visa details on the tracker but the son was denied , please what the best advise for someone in this situation and the reason for the refusal are stated below

Yes in addition to your wife's 10/11k + Tuition fee balance if upfront has been made, so can you see reasons why the money must increase? Unless you have settled Tuition and your wife's Maintenance fee which you can explain on the SOP.

Yes you are right and i was just about to say this, for Canada that doesn't matter at all but for UK, they put that on their head like that is the only way to proof your business is real.

I don’t think that was the cause, unless they ordered gcsm note and VO stated that was the reason. I’ve seen many people with inactive cac get approval. Der are many ways to even proof business without cac.

They CANNOT deny them if you do your application well.

I think the Lagos you see is a camo., the main processing office is Nairobi and One Nairobi one Visa, Loool.

You can flagpole when you want n it’s same day. Why not apply for Sowp? They process that faster compare to visit visa.

She had biometrics on file since 2016, apparently she's been to Canada before.

You need to write to Nairobi detailing the situation to them as soon as possible.

My son has the visa, they just returned mine without it. We sent it together and we got it together. I signed all the forms and i submitted in person so they checked everything. I submitted on Thursday and they returned it today. I am so angry!

Sorry to hear about the return of your passports back to you without visas.
I would like to know whether you included all the requirements whilst sending to the VAC?
Also were your passports returned like some days after sending to VAC?

It could just be some documents missing out.

The most unbelievable thing happened today, I sent my passport together with my sons passport to the vac and they returned my passport without a visa. What kind of work is the IRCC doing ? I am just in shock! Now i have to engage with them all over again, i am so tireeeeeeed of them!

I believe the normal processing time is 19 weeks, but can be shorter or longer.

It can take from 1 week (Very rarely) to several weeks.

I was gonna ask you, why didn't you apply for a SOWP instead of your VV since your spouse is there or you intend to FLAGPOLE?
Also i think a single applicant can have a VV and SOWP Applications/Visas simultaneously....
