My visa is valid from next month but the event am going for as a visitor is set to hold last week of September, won’t it look odd at port of entry that I came way too early?

Unless you state you are coming for Holiday or Visiting, but i will advise you to stick to the purpose of your visit, so you can use it for other means subsequently.

Secondly, as someone on a vv, packing foodstuffs to CA, won’t it raise eyebrows since am on a vv and am expected to stay for just 6months or less?

This is not advisable make it minimal, is this your first travel?

I read that they check luggage at the airport to see if there’s any contraband items!!!

If you have items to declare you should declare them at the Canada Border Services Agency ( CBSA ).

I think the application are processed in bulk, I doubt Webform change anything. There were times I sent over 50 mails n Webform daily, nothing happened. My observation is they’re following a pattern, it will surely go round.

Did you get a message requesting that you submit your passport? Take both the old and new passports to VFS application center. VFS will guide you on what to do.

Please does anyone know how long eligibility takes to be completed?
Applied in 2020 last update was 19th April.Biometric completed but eligibility and background check ongoing

If I understand correctly, not everyone will receive BVL? And if you do receive, there is an 80% chance of PPR? Please enlighten me.
