The Comd 23 Bde Brig Gen SG Mohammed on 23 Aug 19 carried out handing over and taking over of 6x Mineresistance All Terrain Vehicles (MATV) between him and the Comptroller of Nigerian Customs Services Adamawa and Taraba Command Mr Olumoh Kamaldeen. The event took place at Konkol in Fufore LGA. The high value weapons were arrested by troops of 23 Bde stationed at the Area . The troops were not convinced of the ownership and the location the weapons were helding to hence they were arrested. Meanwhile, after preliminary investigation,
ASA from higher Command directed the handing over of the weapons to the Nigerian Customs Services for more details to ascertained the shipment locs from and to where or otherwise of the weapons. Pics attached.]

The 12 weeks isnt full training. A soldier can not be deployed with just basic training. They have to go to their job training and they also have to in process at every base which can take up to a week. The full training can vary from ~~14 weeks~~ to over a year.

I was wrong. Osut actually lasts 22 weeks instead of 14.

You serious about this?
Cause what I know is that after boot camp, you are assigned to your unit and then deployment

Please I will like to know. Why does it take us 6 months to train our regular soldiers when the USA trains theirs in only 12 weeks (Boot camp)...I need clarification huh
