Who here still watches the TV Series "SEAL Team"?



Something in that TV show just makes me feel like somewhere within the cast,producers, advisors, consultants ..etc there is an actual SEALs guy (or former operator) who works closlely with the staff who make this tv show. You can just see it in the series, how the move and the tactics they use when clearing a room, raiding a house, how they set charges on a door or an entry point..... etc
Its not like many other hollywood shows on that front where even a regular guy like me, with no military background, can spot simple mistakes or notice how many of the scenes are too unrealistic in the real world.

Especially season 3,there is real maturity in the quality of work

I saw this news on fp... we are complaining for the lack of commitment by the top brass to put an end to the killings of gallant soldiers in NE. Some soldiers are here flexing their muscle on innocent civilian.

Most times I think if this people really think before acting.. how can you easily cause harm to people who are not threat to you, but you honour and protect those people who doesn't value you , Those people that use money meant for your Welfare to buy cars, houses, buy lands and sponsor their girlfriends while you are dying in WWII Trenches... They ride in ammoured SUV, they even assign foreigners to ammoured escort(A whole Amry of a nation escorting a white man, who might just be a clerk of a company .

Our mumu don do for this country.. all these guys praising NA top brass, make una think again abeg. They are trying doesn't mean you won't speak out the truth, you can't continue protecting them abeg...

It's simple physics actually

Laser is a straight coherent beam of photons

When it strikes a surface it doesn't scatter , it literally bounces back along the same path

So the spot is visible only if are facing it , hence only the shooter sees it ( or somebody close to him )

And

Depending on the Freq / wavelength of the laser being used determines its invisibility ( the beam ). Also power of the laser.

Also presence of particulates in the air like dust smoke etc may effect it's visibility ( increase visibility of beam ) due to scattering of the photons.

Eg

if Freq is in the IR region the laser beam and spot will not be visible to naked eye unless a NVG or thermal camera is used.

If Freq is in optical ( visible ) region then depending on the position of the observer and presence of particulates in the air will determine the visibility of either the beam or the spot or both


What laser light ?

wrong question , correct question is what freq/ wavelength of laser is being used and rated at what power.

Google the said products of any manufacturer of such devices to know the same. It will vary by products.

After all the hyping from operation last dance, they still cannot use good effects in the movie ...in one part, when they opened the Apc, I saw flash of light inside (it was meant to be an explosion Sha) ...


But for the fact that we were able to get equipments from NA, I think we should use high quality effects if not the best..my 1%
