Hi Doctor, Please help on the symptoms below: I just finished a course of Antibiotic some few days back due to the fact that i had abscess in the lower right side of my abdomen (maybe groin). On the course of using the antibiotics, the lump started removing pus, the swelling subside. Now have finished the antibiotics but presently the area is still not dried (and still little pus still flows out) but getting better. For like 4 days now, i have developed the symptoms below: - Pain at my back that radiates to both of my shoulders, to my areas beneath my breast (maybe ribs not sure) - Tightness/fullness of the upper abdomen (my stomach area) - heartburn ( not consistent) - There are some meals that immediately i finish eating, i have heart palpitations - Sometimes i get pain under my armpits - Immediately i finish eating, my mouth becomes sour, bitter. I still carry out my daily activities very well The symptoms above started immediately i ended the antibiotics. What could be the cause? |

Queenbeloveth:I didn't pick any appointment date online. I went to the TB test center on a fateful day, we all sat outside and announcement was made by the security that those for UK student visa should come and write down their names. I wrote my name down and was later called in for the test. Although i had already paid the test fee. You can also give it a shot. |
whitley:Yes you have to fund your paga wallet with from your UBA account. Thanks |

Good afternoon, I submitted at the Ikeja TLS branch on the 25th of September and I was sent the mail below just now...no calls, no interview.. E be like say this decision is too fast...my thoughts... My application is a full funded PhD scholarship with monthly stipend...I just hope all is well o Please be advised that a decision was made on your visa application today. Your documents and visa decision will now be returned by commercial courier to the visa application centre where you applied (unless you paid for the courier fee in which case it will be returned directly to you). This can take a few days and be subject to unforeseen delays so please wait for the visa application centre to advise you when your documents and decision are ready for collection. Regards, UKVI Pretoria |
Looks genuine Give it a shot. How did you apply for this job? |
Hello at all, My scholarship is fully funded for my Phd which has a duration of 4 years. The only expense i will be paying for is my flight and accommodation in the UK which costs about GBP650 monthly, the scholarship also comes with a monthly stipend of about GBP1200. I have just completed my visa application form, upon reviewing the documents under the checklist, i realized there was no bank statement of account. Do i need to add the "bank statement of account" to my documents upon submission since i will be covering my flight expenses only? My naira closing balance is about N500k (which will definitely cover for my flight). Thanks at all |
So for those that are trying to pay IHS fee of over $1000, i have successfully done mine....I paid $1836 See steps to follow below: - First you must own a Paga account which is quite easy to open - Once you have a Paga account, you will be on Level 1, so you have to upgrade to Level 3 in order to be able to make transactions of huge sum of amount, upgrading to Level 3 requires you to submit some documents which they will verify...Once verification is complete, you will be upgraded to level 3 - Next is to fund your paga wallet with the required amount you intend to pay. You can either fund your paga wallet with your debit card or fund your account via an online transfer from your GT mobile application which is quite straight forward. - Once that is done, go back to your IHS payment platform page, select "PAGA"...not "PAGA VERVE", then select "Pay from my Paga Wallet" then click confirm, automatically your paga account will be deducted and your IHS payment will be confirmed. This was how i did mine......Should incase you have any questions, i am willing to answer. Thanks to all those that contributed and God bless you all! |
inphoenix:Hi inphoenix, What bank card did you make use of? I have followed the steps above...tried it with GTB and UBA master card....all to no avail. Thanks for your prompt response |

QUOFLUX -500 belongs to CIPROFLAXIN group of drugs (as this was what was on the tablet case) Anytime i use this drug...the heart burn increases likewise slight abdominal pains. I had to stop using the drugs. Those CIPRO cause such effects?.... 2Ballz: |
Hi Geekybabe, I just got my h-pylori results and it came out negative.... Although I still have heartburns which reduces once I use GAVISCON and funny stomach noise (not at all times)..You indicated that it could be GERD. What drugs do you suggest I use...it has been a long long while I dewormed...Do you think I should use a drug for that? (Deworming) What drugs will provide a longer relief than GAVISCON? Thanks for your response |
Hello to all, This thread has really been helpful. Sometimes last week, i developed symptoms such as abdominal pain, burning sensation in my throat and stomach, once i eat my stomach makes rumbling noise..at some point i had slight fever which i treated. I went for an Abdominal ultrasound scan and everything came out normal, the sonographer asked me why i opted for a scan, i told her my symptoms....She said the scan shows everything is good but i should consider "H-Pylori test''. I visited the family pharmacist and told him how i was feeling, he prescribed some drugs (Quoflux, sivoflush and albendazole etc). I started taking the medications and realized that the stomach rumbling has reduced but yesterday night through this morning was a nightmare....The burning sensation in my throat was unbearable, on and off pain in abdomen, slight pain by the breast, weakness, palpitations, discomfort. What i had for dinner before using my drugs that night was Spaghetti with stew and a cold malt.....I had to boil water and add honey which i took in the midnight, that was what made me to sleep for some few hours. I went online and saw many related symptoms (GERD, H-Pylori, stomach Ulcer etc). My wife is worried and i intend on carrying out a Barium test or Endoscopy as soon as possible. Even as i type, i still feel the burning sensation in my throat....am so scared to eat now. Can anyone recommend a good center to carry out those tests? Thanks |
