Well I commend his effort.

Albeit, waking up one year to election when you don't have a political structure spread is a journey of knowing the end from the beginning.

Kingsley will not get more than 200k votes out of 30 million.

You want to be a third force? Your journey should have started immediately after 2019 election.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Ibadan Job For N175,000 Or Kaduna Job For N259,000 : Which Should I Go For? by jossiwan(m): 10:18pm On Sep 07, 2021
kingsolium:
Good morning house, pls I need your views and opinions on this subject matter.

Ok, I currently work with an FMCG Coy in Ibadan as an inventory officer where I earn N175k net on a monthly basis. It’s important to state here that I was living in Lagos prior to my getting this FMCG job.

So, I moved to Ibadan 2 months ago and currently put up with a friend in his apartment while I try to figure out how to move my stuffs to Ibadan on relocation basis. But along the line, I got a job with a big agricultural establishment affiliated to a multinational agricultural firm and I’m being offered N259k for a start excluding other benefits such as airtime(15k) which is different from my main salary.

Also note that the N259k is gross so my take home could be around N230k or thereabouts.

Now here’s the challenge. This new job is in Kaduna(the state capital) and I’ve not been to kaduna before. So, house what do you think about this. I need your candid, sincere and factual advice on this matter.

Thank you

Come to Kaduna, the state capital is the safest.
I've been to Ibadan and I currently reside in Kaduna. Kaduna is far better.

I'll offer my services for you free of charge as you settle down.

Politics / Re: Buhari Not In Support Of Open Grazing - Garba Shehu Clarifies by jossiwan(m): 3:08pm On May 26, 2021
Is this difficult for "Buhari, Garuba and his cohorts" to understand?

Buy grass - it creates employment.
Convey livestock- it creates business.
Buy land - it improves society.
Ranch animals - it creates vet doctors
Avoid animal marathons - it gives better meat and quality milk.

And again, why is this government so keen on prioritising Fulani over other tribes?

Well, e remain 2years, 3days and 8 hours for Buhari to go!

What do you mean? Where I stay, na yoruba dem de speak for children here 365 days a year for my side.

That's very good.

I've come across some parents who only have secondary school certificate and the only thing they speak to their children is English and not their Yoruba dialect.

The world has moved past local dialects. Business is international nowadays. I don’t know any Caucasian I need to speak Igbo to when conducting a trade or sharing ideas.

Business is international. Yes!

Since you don't want your kids to speak English at home, please, don't forget to wear them Iro, Buba and Agbada at home. Also, make sure they eat only local foods like eba, akpu and poundo. After all, they will go to school and eat cookies.

It is also of importance if you don't teach them about Christianity and indoctrinate them with teachings about idols;cos Christianity is a borrowed religion and Africans don't need it.

When they are done learning English at school, don't allow them practice it at home cos it will pollute your indigenous language and make it go extinct.

Finally, ask people who never bothered to learn their native language what they are missing? DJ Cuppy should be in a better position to answer that.

Why not ask Wole Soyinka?

Prof speaks Yoruba fluently and is well grounded in English Language.
Family / Why Do Parents Tend To Speak Only English Language To Their Kids? by jossiwan(m): 1:31pm On Apr 07, 2021
Overtime, I've observed that couples tend to speak only "English Language" to their new born baby/kids while they grow.

I once had a discussion with my girlfriend regarding what language our kids will learn and speak at home. I was surprised she opt for "English".

I immediately rebuke her; telling her, they will learn and speak our local dialect and they will go to school and learn English language.

Even if the couples are of different tribe, their kids should be able to speak the local dialect of either the Mother or the Father.

I bet, in the next 50-100 years some local dialect would have gone into extinction.

Do couples see their new born babies as "Foreigners (White)" because of their "skin colour"?

Do couples think their baby/ies can only understand English Language?

So, why is it difficult for Couples to speak and teach their local dialect to their kids?

Politics / No Single Ventilator, But Nasarawa Buys ₦500 Million Cars For Lawmakers by jossiwan(m): 11:44pm On Apr 16, 2020
Nasarawa is among states without a ventilator to help in the fight against coronavirus pandemic, but the state governor, Abdullahi Sule has bought 24 Toyota Hilux vehicles for state lawmakers, estimated at nearly N500 million. There are 169 ventilators nationwide spread across only 16 states, Daily Trust exclusively reported last week.

On Thursday, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases rose to 407 , with 128 patients discharged after treatment and 12 deaths reported. Speaker of Nasarawa House of Assembly, Ibrahim Abdullahi, on Monday stated that Abdullahi gave the 24 Toyota Hilux to the lawmakers as official vehicles. At an average cost of N21m per car, they are worth a combined total of N504m.

Some Medical and Health Workers in the state on Thursday protested non-payment of their March salary by Doma local government. They threatened to embark on industrial action from Friday, if they are not paid.

Cost of ventilator
Findings reveal that a hospital-grade ventilator cost between $25,000 (N9.175m) and $50,000 (N18.350m), using the Central Bank’s official exchange rate of N367 for a dollar.

The power play going on between El-Rufai and Ghanduje just proves one thing:both of them see Buhari as a mere figure head as president and don't have any regard for him at all because they seem him as a vegetable being remotely controlled by human beings around him.
So they are both doing whatever they feel like knowing they can't be curtailed by non elective appointees and even non appointees that are acting as the de-facto presidents.
Many actions of other appointees show the same scanty regard for him.

Spot on!!!
