MisterT: Hello Guys does anyone know if you Unilag diploma and Unilag BSc would be considered as two certificates under the express entry system? Also with respect to WES in sending my certificates must it be via courier only. Is there another way/method? If yes please share.
Just to add that the Unilag diploma was a 1 year program and thereafter i was granted admission thru the direct entry route to year 2.
Thanks.
It shall end in Praise It will be calculated together as bsc not two or more degrees. |

We just commenced the registry process so if it is the same we can as well save our money. Post ita .. for marriage certificate it states it must be a “legally” recognized certificate. Church certificate is religious not legal. U will av to get ur court certificate. No saving money in this whole process.. whats wothduin is worth duin well. #My2cents |

Ladon7: Good mng , please i need help oooo. I have written ielts 3 times . the last time i had 7 in listening and 6 in reading, i have identified my problem in listening to be the multiple question, pls is their any technique i can apply ? will be writing in two weeks time i av practised over 40 listening but still not getting this part right pls help. In my opinion different techniques work differently for people.. but i would advice skimming through the questions of each section at the pause. Then Underlining key works so as the passage is playing the underlined parts of the questions and answers are standing out and u dont av to read all options to knw the answer. Then practise with you tube listenin ... its difficulty level is always higher than normal ielts ....if u can pass the different practice tests daily.. then u r good to go |

Theyolu: I have called all the British Council offices - Lagos, Port-Harcourt, Kano and Abuja. No luck. Kano rang once then switched off. I received a reminder email to pay up within 24 hours this morning. It will be one week tomorrow I made the payment. It is so annoying! Send dem a mail/ mails even though they wont acknowledge.... then visit the bank tmw mornin for them to trace the payment... they will contact the bank u transfered to knw whats up with the money and if u did all the right way. |

Theyolu: Good evening Everyone.
I paid for IELTS via bank transfer last week Thursday. It's over 72hours and I am yet to get payment confirmation. I mailed them immediately the transfer was made as instructed. I also sent a follow up email this afternoon but I am yet to get a response. Visiting their office in Ikoyi is not an option as I'm writing the exam in Ibadan and not Lagos. Please, is there another way of contacting them? Thank you. Transfer takes time... i paid for my ielts through bank transfer 2 days to cancellation... sent proof and emails to them no reply.. two days after payment, my exam booking still expired despite having made payment. I even wanted to rebook the date and pay again but The date was no longer available... i was furious I went to the bank and activated a refund. The bank said i should give them 1 week to get my money back.. i called the day after they said they were on it. To cut the long story short.. two days after i cancelled payment i got payment confirmation from ielts...nd it was for the date i had initially booked... So if u r sure u did all the right way.. just visit the bak to knw whats delaying and keep sending ielts messages... but give or take give ur transfer 4 days from my experience. Or better still call any ielts branch except Lagos cos they dont pick. |

I am planning to undergo medicals for Austrailia and I will need to travel to Lagos. i was thinking If I could carry out the medicals for Canada too in view of an ITA coming. It is quite possible... But, note that once u get ur PPR .. no matter how long from now it is... ur Landing should be withing one year from medicals or when ur passport expires. Whichever cones first.. In my Opinion that might put u under landing pressure. |

Boss13: I think it will be unfair of me to read that reference letter is sufficient enough for A11.2 (Eligibility) and I won’t say anything. What I have come to understand in this journey is that if you approach it with a lazy attitude, there are some VOs that will address your laziness.
I keep repeating - you don’t want to go through the emotional trauma of not seeing any significant movement in your application and when you send a mail, the response is that you should minimize communication. Canadians are subtle with insult. Trust me, you don’t want to experience that. You don’t want to be on the phone and a CPC agent is telling you that he/she cannot see your file and your file is wide open on their computer screen.
Some people are fortunate, but not all will be. Save yourself that trouble of worries, less sleep, lack of concentration, unnecessary anger and package your application like a professional. Guys no need to start cursing or all getting angry abt this whole matter... we all have different takes .. everyone do what makes u comfortable or sleep well at night. If u feel reference letter alone is good , then use it.. if u av 3 months payslip and u feel like adding it, no harm done.. doesnt hurt ur application. If u av employment letter .. and u want to add too.. its ur problem .. its all to prove that ur telling the truth.... so to whomsoever this will help... just do what makes u feel comfy like uv done ur best and made urself credible enuf. My own take.... |

Congrat @Feygbe and @bossy.
So i saw this post and decided to share:
COPIED!!COPIED!!
Hi guys,
This is my first post on this website. Here's my timeline:
FSW-Outland AOR: 7th April, 2017 Medicals done: 24th June, 2017
I'm not sure about when IP1 and IP2 started for me, but since 6 months got over on 7th October, I wrote to CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca asking them about the application status. And i got an e-mail saying PPR had already been sent on 18th July. I'm 100% sure it had gone into Spam and i had no idea, plus there was absolutely no update on the MyCIC website. So, they sent me the PPR again on the 11th.
PPR: 11th October, 2017
So, the PPR emails are sure to go into Spam. Guys, please keep checking your e-mail spam folder everyday from day one after AOR itself. And those who have crossed six months, write to CPC-CTD immediately. |

Hello everyone, please quick questions:
Post ITA IN MY CHECKLIST... 1. THERE IS NO WHERE TO UPLOAD BIRTH CERTIFICATE. SHOULD I UPLOAD IT OR NOT BOTHER UPLOADING IT SINCE I WASN'T ASKED FOR IT. IF I AM TO UPLOAD IT, WHERE CAN I UPLOAD IT.
2. DO I HAVE TO UPLOAD TRANSCRIPTS IN EDUCATION BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE A TRANSCRIPT, MY SCHOOL DOESN'T ISSUE IT TO STUDENTS BUT ONLY TO ORGANIZATIONS. SO ALL I CAN UPLOAD IN EDUCATION WILL BE MY ECA+ SCHOOL CERTIFICATE+ IELTS. IS THAT GOOD ENOUGH. |

cochtrane: 1. Your PCC should be within 6 months. That alone nullifies tendering what you have currently. According to CIC, "If you need a police certificate from a country or territory and:
are currently living there, or received the police certificate before leaving, the police certificate must be issued within six months before you apply. have lived there in the past, the police certificate must be issued after you last lived in that country or territory."
2. www.ilovepdf.com compresses nicely Thanks |

2. HOW DO I REDUCE FILE SIZE OF PDF DOCUMENTS. MY PASSPORT TRAVEL PAGES MAKE UP 8MB AND WE R ONLY ALLOWED TO UPLOAD 4MB. DOES ANYONE KNOW ANY APP OR METHOD THAT CAN ASSIST WITH REDUCING THE SIZE.
ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED. THANKING YOU ALL IN ADVANCE. |

Kontagious: 1. Since you are the PA, him adding work experience gained outside Canada will add no point, so, you can remove the experience he has no reference letter for or even remove the entire work experience from the work history but state these work experience in his personal history.
2. Similar to 1 above, don't include his self employed work in the work history but state it in personal history.
3. You might want to reconsider to scan all 3 statements, best you cover all loose ends then submit and be worried throughout your application. We've read a case of an applicant who submitted over 70 pages for POF. However, best you also do a cover letter stating what amount is coming from which account and total the funds in your letter. You might also want to top that N5.4m a bit just to have some form of coverage against forex fluctuations and in case the required amount for your family size is topped. N5.4m seems like the required amount at present.
Modified: 3. Do you mean the fix deposit is in one account but you collected money from three accounts? If yes, then just print account statement for the account where you did the fixed deposit. Attach your fix deposit certificate as well. HI, WHEN WE REMOVE THE WORK EXPERIENCE POST -ITA , DO WE HAVE TO EXPLAIN WHY WE REMOVED ALL OF HIS WORK EXPERIENCE OR NO NEED FOR EXPLANATION AS LONG AS IT IS IN PERSONAL HISTORY. |
