thanks u guyz.really its not the church or my dad that is to blame.i really put the blame on those pple who let the devil posses them like my stepmom,her prophetess friend,the pastors(shephards) who tell my dad what he wants to hear and not the truth.posting this thing has really helped me let off some steam.i believe everything will be okay if i stick with GOD.im sure that as long as i dont decide to take revenge for myself,GOD will definitly judge the whole issue.THANKS GUYZ,THANKS NAIRALAND&THANKS GOD.MERRY CHRISTMAS

i dont even know how to explain it but i feel really bad.For some time now,i've been enduring what my father does but it has gotten to a point that i've been pushed to the wallThishas really opened my eyes and has made me think about why he treats me this way.i've come up with some reasons.Put youself in my father's shoes and see if he is justified to treat me this way.                                                                                                  Firstly,we go to cele and since I was about 11 they said i was a witch.To get the evil spirit out,you will kneel down btw 3 elders and they will beat u with palmfronds for lets say 20 minutes(usually they sing 3 songs while they dust the evil spirit from your body.) Just so u know,the lady who gave the 'message' is my stepmothers friend.they did the work for me for three days.It happened to be during the children's harvest so people were much @ church.Imagine the embarassment,not to even say the  small bruises i got. @ skull when my teacher asked i had to tell him that we did night vigil and I slept on the floor so ants bit me thats why my face was like that. Not long after that my step mother went to her village and came back about two weeks after,next thing i know,she gets pregnat,about six months into the pregnancy she and my father fought.she moved to church and she was staying there.after she gave birth,my father did not let her come back,thats when she started getting friendly with me.she told me that when she went home it was because she got pregnant and she lost the baby.that's when i started thinking and i realised that there was a day i was at church and I was talking to the assistant pastor and he said something like i should leave the way so that my step mother would have her child.thats when i figured that she must have been trying to get pregnant and maybe she could not so she must have told her prophetess friend who said they should do the work for me.all the while i was a simple 11 year old girl who bore no ill will to anybody.i was even happy to have a step mother to be with my dad and take care of us.   later on it was back to my dad preparing the meals and such.That work started coming again that i was a witch,this time,iwas 13 and the work was different,they took u 2 a bush,with a stool and 3 brooms.to cut the long story short they will sing 3 songs while they were beating u with this broom.                                                                                                                                            at 16 they did it for me again,not even up to a year later,i got the message again.              now im i supposed to see myself as a witch especially when i dont even think bad of people.my father used to work in an oil company but he resigned because they sold the company and he was reaching retirement age.the second to the last time they gave me this 'work',they said it was me and my mother's fault that my father's retirement plans werent going according to plan.they said my mother is a withch too and she has infected me.i finished secondary sch 2 yrs ago.if my father had the money he would send me to a private university but because he spent all his retirement money on a businesss that failed woefully and now we barely get money to buy foodstuffs.its a challenge to tell him meat or chicken or what ever has finished in the hse he'll accuse me of wasting it.    as it is,the stew finished and i was hoping his girlfriend would help me tell him that stew has finished in the hse when my sister(the child of tthe other woman) told my dad.he called me and he was like why ddint i tell him.i said i did not know how to and he said "i may think im doing him but im doing myself".i went downstairs and i started thinking, what could i have done to make my father say that i think im doing him? has it got that bad.does he really believe i have evil powers and i will hurt him with them? what will i gain? now there is no money,my mates will be finishing school in two or three yeasrs time.i just got admission and it does'nt look like he has money to pay for my school fees.  if he thinks im evil then he is justified with the way he treats me.but something makes me wonder,this is my father,iv been living with him for 14years,he ought to know me.why would he believe i am a witch when i hardly fall sick,i follow him to church,even after what my other step moter put me through i still try not to treat her child badly.my mother doesnt stay with us ,my parents where divorced even b4 i was born.(when i was still in the womb).4 years after I was born.this man comes and says the church said that our mother was trying to kill us(me and my brother) and that he should take us away from her.thats how i started living with daddy.b4 then i never even knew i had a father.the so called witch(my mother)is re married and has moved on.  my brother is sort of indifferent to me. this whole situation will make me do something very bad.then we'll see who the witch is.

gosh im so sorry but you really need to first calm down.think about yourself,your position and all i know u truly want her back,but if u dont adress the issue that made you traeat her that way,youll end up nowhere and alone.if u truly want her back and u r ready to find a solution to her problem together then i promise u that when u sit her down to talk to her,shell listen.its love we are talking about here she is probably feeling lost without u but u really should apologise to her for what u did.i truly hope she listens to u.its so sad that u have to pay for another mans recklesness

isnt that the kind of situation that caused etteh to resign,i just wish our leaders would be more careful handling our resources.

I keep telling people,its not a difficult task,it all starts with me(you)doing simple things like making sure u save power by reducing the amounts of lights we leave on,or like we do in my house,switch of the light ina room if you are not going to be there,keep your room,and genrally your house and the surrounding clean and free of stagnant water.truly and truly obey the laws of nigeria.the reward is not a national honour,but blessings from GOD because u r doing it to his glory.

she was doing perfectly fine where she was b4,i guess that means she has charisma and i guess the country could use such an indutrious and illustrious person.but i think information is way out of her league.what is she supposed to do?sell newspapers?

if it comes to it(the miss lux thing,the company made a very good choice.everone knows mrs jalade has 4 kids and a husband.its difficult to sell sum1 like that,unlike genny who has a child from nowhere apparently.anyway genny was the better of the two for that ad.period
