Why did God create something as dangerous as a mosquito huh

A comparism between the christian heaven and the moslem heaven; cheesy the comments here where insane........i finally concluded there was no hell or heaven at all, since then, i have problem with religion or any belief system.

Being an atheist no be here o.
How can someone completely overrule the existence of god.

Can an atheist explain how MIRACLES happen, that's the only thing that is holding me from being an atheist!
Please create your own thread for that, don't come here to derail the thread.

Change what you read and watch. These are meant to give you a clue about the real world. So, I would advise you to watch these series: Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Wire and Broadwalk Empire, and other HBO series. They should help you. Though I would also advise you never to away completely your old self, because you would definitely need it someday. All the best.
Thanks smiley..so how does what I read and watch influence the fear of hurt and embarassment that I feel?
btw I hardly read books. Though I watch movies not into the t.v series stuff. Being a while I watched a really good movie and also read a book.

I have learnt that there are a lot of hypocritics in the religious section who are also very ignorant and would do anything to undermine people of other beliefs.

Really the religious section actually made me see things from a whole new angle. Though I hardly comment there.

@op so sorry for derailing your thread, just gonna answer that dude one more time and I will be off.

TrapQ lol,why do you sound so pained? grin
Really the example you gave does not in anyway correlate with what is going on here.
I have my own views on evangelism, which I won't go deep into as it will derail the thread even further.

Your last paragraph contradicts what you have been saying, you indirectly just implied that his belief is wrong from the analogy you gave. If someone finds hapiness in what he believes in who are you to say its wrong? Is it because it goes against or contradicts what you have been taught or know?

Anyways I will end with this, learn to accept people's belief stop trying to convince others to accept your own beliefs.

Good day!

trapQ:
excuse me... take a moment to read, comprehend, assimilate and digest stuff before concluding. nowhere in my comment did I try to force him out of his belief. I only stated the obvious. christianity is a religion that teaches free will. and in this day and time, no one imposes anything on others talk more of religion.

the op replied me previously, stating that he still doesn't believe. I didn't bother replying because I know religion is never to be forced on anyone.
What exactly do you want me to read and understand?

You don't have to say 'convert to christianity' to mean that you are forcing someone to accept your own belief and ideology.

From the very first statement you made about him facing judgement from God(which he doesn't believe in) to the end says it all.

If truly you believe that religion shouldn't be imposed on anyone, you wouldn't have posted that post. Why tell him to go read the bible and let God open his eyes? Why try to convince someone who's mind is made up? Is not pointless?

Of course it aint pointless to you has long as he throws away his own belief and accepts yours undecided

trapQ:
being an atheist doesn't automatically exclude you from facing God's judgment. trust me I feel what you feel, I get suicidal thoughts every other day... and this been going on for 3yrs now. heaven and hell exist dear. pray for God to open your spiritual eyes. do me a favor, before going to bed tonight read Jeremiah 33:3 " call unto me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things which you knowest not". meditate on that scripture and God will show you everything you need to see to believe that he exists.

bye!
@bold like seriously how are you solving matters with that statement

he says he is an atheist why try to force it down is throathuh Can't you just respect his belief? angry

I really don't understand christians of nowadays, you want someone to accept what you believe in but fail to accept others beliefs.

Very sensible indeedundecided

cococandy:
My dear I used to be like you on the 'good-person' spectrum but I guess I outgrew it.
So maybe with time you will outgrow it too.

But for now, just remember you can't win them all. It doesn't mean that in order to break free from that you should exhibit rashness or aggression that is not part of your natural make-up. Just remember to always do and say what pleases your conscience with respect of course (to deserving individuals). Stop going against your will or deep seated concvinctions in order to be the good person. It is unfair to yourself.
When you try to be the good one in the face of a conflict that requires you to take a stand, trying to please both sides of the conflict will have you stretching yourself too thin. Choose an opinion and let the person you're not dancing to their tune be offended if they want to but they will get over it and you won't feel like sheep afterwards. In fact your self esteem will keep growing in bounds.

That's a little way to go about it or you can just be patient and let time prove to you that no one is worth displeasing yourself for.(except they can do the same for you. That's the ONLY exception)

As for getting hurt, we can't really escape that. Instead of living in fear of getting hurt, decide what matters a lot to you. What will have a great impact on your life now and in future and let them be the things you worry about.
For the others if they happen, fine. Hurt a bit and move on. It's part of life. Life is not without pain. Don't be afraid of it. Embrace it.
Nice words, cococandy!Would put it in mind, thanks so much smiley smiley

Illuminatus:
Okay. Those up there are wonderful advice. I'll just chip in that you need friends. Friends and family are the two support groups that build us. The latter we can't choose, but you have the options of choosing who's going to be your sidekick. So, I advice you to go out there and find yourself friends with somewhat strong, outgoing personalities. You don't have to try so hard. For the time being, be yourself and push yourself just so little. With time, you'll be surprised at what you've achieved for yourself. Trust me, I know. I'll talk to you via Uziel;-). Stay cool, babe.
Mmm... Lol,all right no problem thanks a lot. I appreciate smiley
