leef2022: You dont need a transit visa travelling through Turkiye so that should remain as an option to the traveler. That has nothing to do with E visa cancelled. Even when it was available Nigeria passport holders did not need one to transit through Turkiye You don't require transit visa for Turkish Air and I said "just to spite them" normally with an e visa u could enter Turkey once u had a valid Uk, shenghen or US visa but now its just straight airport .... so many people transited via Turkish cus of cheaper travel and ability to enter with an E visa. And you are still wrong about visitor visa NOT requiring a return ticket even SA will request talkless of UK even wen they have over gisted at border control they still say "can I see your return tickets? You have to be very lucky to be skipped that question |

ekpotek: Things has change a lot for Nigerian passport holder. You are right. The poser should check this website for information on how to apply for ATV. https://www.netherlandsworldwide.nl/visa-the-netherlands/airport-transit-visa/apply-nigeria
Better still, poser can avoid the Schengen area by using airlines like Turkish, Ethiopia, Kenya or Emirate. Better remove Turkish they have cancelled the E visa (just to spite them) use Qatar, Emirates KLM France and Lufthansa all require transit visa.... its best you just apply for a visa than wastebasket money on transit only transit does not require account statements |

Palolisthajoly: So I was refuse visa yesterday. Reasons do not make sense to me. Yesterday was the graduation ceremony and he waited for 8weeks before refusing the visa. The officer claimed I didn't explain spending more money. However, I submitted a cover explaining all debits and credits on my bank statement for the 6 month period. To me his reasons are vague and flimsy and I'll like to complain. Do anyone know how I can go about it? This People just look for flimsy excuse sometimes to deny you..... |

My question is, since I was granted a UK Visit Visa in 2020, do I need to declare the German Visa refusal each time I apply for a renewal UK Visa? You declared it before kindly declare it again |

[quote author=leef2022 post=114956100]I don't get you all, what is eff about it, if the post intended to visit China after her visit to the husband from the UK and has ticket to further the trip, would that cause her a denial at the UK entry? No it may not, because she would have demonstrated her ability to leave the UK after her visit, but if she showed such itinerary to a bank she would not be given PTA as there is no evidence of a return back to Nigeria.
STOP CONFUSING UR SElF ONWARDS travel means there is a ticket out of The UK at a Point in time and that's also very fine some pple do multiple trips and it's allowed |

I repeat, With or without a return ticket you can enter the UK for visiting.....whatever evidence you come with at the border is on the visitor.
UNCLE as LONG as you HAVE a VISIT Visa to the UK or any other COUNTRY you mist show A RETURN TICKET they would always ask at the border PLEASE do NOT mislead anybody

leef2022: With due respect to you, I was not responding to her post, but yours and requirements to process a PTA.
You may wish to educate me pls, is there anywhere the UK home office states if you are going for a visit to the UK and its borders, that you must book a return ticket? Whatever reason and wherever you are headed to, if you want to process the PTA in Nigeria, you need a valid return ticket.(even persons with study visa who could stay for a longer period needed a return ticket to process, so i don't get what you on about visit or stay). And I suppose even if you had a visa that permits you to stay, if you needed a PTA for your trip, you needed to provide your financial institution with a valid return ticket....
A visit visa requires a Return Ticket
A PTA requires a Return ticket
Thanks Thanks |

ekpotek: Congratulations!!! Your story is a testimony. Make sure that you use the visa well well oh which is roughly equivalent to 10 times that of 6 months application fees. 10 years is not application fee is not cheap!
I did 5 years after weighing that my visits to the UK has reduced drastically coupled with covid, no free accommodation and may not visit more than once in a year. Had visa UK issued in March 2022, yet to use it. Anyway enjoy your trip. Beht 10yrs is better than 5yrs truly wish I even did the 10yrs I know someone that has the 5yrs and has not even used it coupled with the Covid stuff.... the person is not a fan of UK and their Training has shifted to other European countries... 2yrs and 5 yrs looks long but time flies so fast |

I’m interested in Turkish, Qatar, Virgin, & BA. I’ve also have noticed that, return flights from Abuja is about 30% cheaper than Lagos. Anyone here please? Call the airline they will give u current rate as at the day of payments It's usually bank rate not black market rate.... Abuja flights seem cheaper than Lagos tho I have seen some cheap flights |
