hayoakins:
I earn enough to take care of your daughter and if you are willing to help me get a job that can earn me seven digit in a month, i wouldn't mind grin
That is what most people will answer but you need to see my friend's face when one village champion who thought her daughter is quarter to Agbani asked him that question, your countenance and body language alone would force him to change the subject.

At some point, when the "inlaw in chief regalia" grin wasn't getting the nuance, he simply called for a glass of water and asked him back, "Senior, lets stay focused on why we are here I didn't travel this far to start permutation and combination on my account balance"

His fellow village dumbos started clapping at the sound of the grammar, her useless oldest brother who at 37 was still living in his father's house was shinning his eyes, whispered to the father that a big car doesn't mean one has money after all, men borrow cars to impress inlaws, guess what; the "big car" was a lousy 2009 Toyota corolla that my friend don't even take seriously, the car became an option due to fuel efficiency, his office knock about car, chei! laugh nearly killed me.

It became clearer the level of poverty and braggadocio he was getting involved in, the girl actually told him that her father is a chief, not knowing that some traditional stools are inherited grin grin
My guy ran faster than Usain.

FELLOW NIGERIANS, IS THIS THE PRESIDENT YOU DESERVE?

May the Judgment of God not befall us and our families if with our votes we deliberately return a Govt of Hunger, corruption and death to the Nigerian people. Kindly distribute through your BBM and Whatsapp contacts, enough is enough!!

November 2014, Jonathan shocked Nigerians with the news that Boko haram has taken control of 6 towns in 4 LGA’s the height of incompetence in balkanizing the Nigerian state, a week later, Nigerians were blown away by series of austerity measures handed to them for their stupidity in 2011.

The naira was devalued at the pretext of drop in oil prices but Nigerians never asked why the Naira never appreciated when the oil price was increasing?
If the foreign reserve were not stolen, Nigeria would have weathered the storm for at least 6months like we did during the global melt down of 2004 and 2008, unfortunately, the incompetence of the Jonathan administration has brought grave consequence on the Nigerian people, Inflation and high cost of energy are likely consequences.

According to Will Ross of the BBC “He said he hoped a parliamentary investigation would also find out why the country's Excess Crude Account had fallen from $11.5bn to under $2.5bn in a year - arguing that Nigeria's savings are a vital buffer against any drop in the global oil price and without this "rainy day" account, the economy is vulnerable and exposed.

October 2014; Ladies and Gentlemen, the President of the Federal republic of Nigeria uses a militant Asari Dokubo for black market gun running, evident from the grounding and seizure of over $10m by the South African authorities.
September, 2014, The Nigerian Government admitted ferrying over $10m in a private jet for arms procurement, where do we draw the line between money laundering and arms procurement? I asked myself about the recent helos that was delivered by Russia recently if it was purchased in the same manner, agree with me or not, Jonathan is neck deep not just in corruption but money laundering.

August 2014: As a result of the unabated corruption in the Nigerian Military, Mutiny of July gave rise to Boko haram declaring a caliphate on Nigerian Soil, Gentlemen and Ladies, Jonathan Has once again made a history of Incompetence. Never in the history of Nigeria have we ceded territories to bandits.

July 2014: saw a president who went to sleep while neighboring West African countries battled with the Ebola virus, his negligence paid off when Patrick Sawyer brought the deadly virus to Nigeria unabated. Since August 2012, when the Ebola outbreak began, The Nigerian govt had no single emergency response plan in place.
$11m emergency fund and N480m budgeted for the control of infectious diseases in the 2013 budget never got to the Lagos state government, the Nigerian Ebola Epicenter.
Still in June, we saw the worst abuse of his Royal majesties powers when he barred APC Governors from attending a rally in Ekiti state with soldiers, meanwhile Boko Haram is still having a field day in the North.
The senate revealed to Nigerians how the president Mis appropriated over 685b kerosene subsidy fund

May 2014: left us with this shocking statement
“Jonathan, who was asked to comment on the allegations of corrupt practices leveled against some of his ministers, had said that nobody was above mistakes and that if he were to be acting based on reports on each of them, “no one will stay for more than six months in office.” Mere stealing we call corruption"

Still in the same month after the corrupt tales of embezzlement and diversion of military budget, the clueless one finally offered Amnesty to a terrorist group, the first of its kind, in the world.
An Indication that the Jonathan’s administration is run by a den of thieves.

April 2014: reminded us the climax of Jonathan’s administration where he went on a jamboree while book haram held over 200 young girls, hostage,
April never ended before the Dizeani madueke’s 10billion naira scam reached a climax.

March 2014: just before the centenary celebration where Abacha of all people was a beneficiary, scores of Innocent school children were murdered in Adamawa sate.

Feb 2014: saw the illegal suspension of the CBN Gov.at a time the nation was in dire need of foreign direct investment, the Kidnap of the president’s foster father is a realistic score card on his strides on security.
January 2014, a presidential committee was set up to investigate the October scandal of stella odua who came with a guilty verdict, yet she kept her job.

December 2013: ushered the yuletide of Obasanjo’s “before it is too late”, several corruption allegations and the extremism of the Jonathan’s administration, the impunity of plundering the people’ s common wealth and the tenacity of talking drums like Abati who have earned a reputation in insulting the sensibilities of Nigerians.10 bullet proof vehicles purchased by DICON for its top brass

November 2013: the CBN Governor raised an alarm that under Jonathan’s watch, the NNPC diverted $49billion dollars, fellow Nigerians, are we not tired of condoning corruption?

October 2013: ushered a month of corruption coronation in Jonathan’s camp, where the Aviation minister coerced the NCAA to purchase 2 fairly used armored 2008 BMW to the tune of $800,000 each.

September 2013: President Jonathan took a record breaking 600 men entourage for the UN General assembly in New york

August 2013: After the billions of dollars spent in revamping the nation’s airports, skytrax world airport ranking for Africa showed Nigeria didn’t make it to top 10 in Africa neither did it make it top 100th place in the world. Whereas Ethiopia and Mauritania made it to position 9th and 8th respectively, what a shame.

July 2013: transparency international rated Nigeria as the 8th most corrupt country in the world.

June 2013: World Bank appraised him thus;

“Nevertheless, improvements in social welfare indicators have been much slower than would be expected in the context of this growth. Poverty reduction and job creation have not kept pace with population growth, implying social distress for an increasing number of Nigerians. Progress toward the fulfillment of many of the Millennium Development Goals has been slow, and the country ranked 153 out of 186 countries in the 2013 United Nations Human Development Index” the World Bank said.

May 2013: The president after wasting tax payer’s money on an entourage as long as the third mainland bridge went sleeping while his foreign affairs minister represented him in his presence during the AU summit in Addis ababa.
Just outside President Goodluck Jonathan's office sat 17 ambulances, just in case he or one of his aides fell ill. They were seldom if ever used.

No actual health-care facility nationwide had as many, and in fact a few still have none at all. But as soon as a Nigerian newspaper took a photo of the ambulances and published a story about them, they suddenly disappeared -- probably to an underground garage.

March, 2013: we witnessed the height of moral bankruptcy when Mr President granted presidential pardon to the biggest criminal in the history of our democracy, Alamesigha to prepare him for a senatorial seat.

February 2013: amidst the short fall in crude prices, the president smuggled into the 2013 budget a 2bn appropriation fund for the office of the first lady

February 2013: the office of the presidency denied vehemently that the first lady was on vacation in Germany only for them to organize a survival party with tax payer’s money. Is this the kind of leader you want to hold to his words?

In January 2013: the erst while madam due process and former minister for education challenged the charlatans of jonathans’ administration to a debate on accountability of $67b as expected, honorable cowards and pen thieves, absconded as usual

November 2012: President Jonathan approved 2.2bn naira for the construction of a banquet hall in the villa. At a time our debt profile was all time high

As commander in chief, he stood dumb while a military helicopter was used for "kabu-kabu" at oronto douglas father’s burial that error in judgment alone claimed the life of a sitting Governor. and the most brilliant NSA Nigeria has ever produced.

October 2012: blatantly refusing to appeal the ICJ’s decision on ceding bakassi, thereby throwing Millions of Bakkasi indigenes into pandemonium

refusing to cut down on foreign trips and cost of Governance, contrary to his Nationwide address of 7th Jan 2012.

October 2012: Mr president’s administration spent 1.5 billion to patch the 3rd mainland bridge, 4 months later, triple of that amount was expended again on maintenance alone, Talk about waste and incompetence

August 2012 : He said our foreign reserve is 42billion usd , is that not only on iweala's notepad?
How can you have external debt of 48bn usd and come home to deceive us that we have reserves?
How much services that 48bn plus interest annually? Nearly 25% of 48bn.

August 2012: Under his watch militants earn 10% of the Nation's revenue, $22.5m, $9m and $12.5m for tompolo, Ateke and Asari as national honors.

He twisted facts during the Independence Day speech on his fight on corruption, in contrast to what the transparency international claimed.
By august 2012, 2012 budget implementation was just 13%

over 5, ooo Nigerian lives gone, Mr president is still trading words and negotiating with boko haram, we remain grateful that a quasi state of emergency came to be, at least I cant imagine an SOE where the State Govs sit tight to control state funds while the FG fight their battle.

July 2012: its 3yrs gone and he is yet to commission from scratch a new power plant worst still fired the only human being in his cabinet who knows his onions in the power sector.

July 2012: Mr President earned a congratulatory message for implementing local content policy by importing 200 luxury brands at the cost of over 13.5 million each for a 4 day first ladies summit. While our manufacturing industries beg for patronage.

June 2012: Almost all teaching hospitals in Nigeria have no functional dialysis machine, the most sought of this equipment cost just 5m naira. Statistics has it that more than 60,000 Nigerians die yearly of a kidney related ailment, however, he jets out with his cohorts to seek medical help elsewhere.

ferma is seriously patching federal highways with a budget of over 80 billion naira, there is no coordination between, the MND, NDDC and Federal ministry of works on road maintenance, same contract is awarded over and over before the job is done.

JUNE 2012: Under his watch, the giant of oil and gas reserves is undergoing its worst energy crisis in the world.

tanker drivers alone can cripple his supply network as they wish not to talk of ordinary Niger republic coming to our rescue via imports.

In case you have not heard, Nigeria is very close to Afghanistan on security progress under Jonathan's watch.

June 2012: Education is in crisis. With adult literacy at 57 per cent, overall illiteracy at 66 per cent and more than 10 million out of the 30 million children of primary school age not in school, no serious government should be comfortable. When 40 million adults in a population of 170 million are illiterate, the country is ranked 161 out of 180 countries in the United Nations Comparative Index of Literacy 2012, and has an unemployment rate of 23.7 per cent,
it’s no longer news that only 26% of school leavers gain admission into the universities and only 5% are employed after school thanks to ASUU’s 6 months strike.

June 2012: Mr president’s economic blind men have blessed us with all time high of 37.5% inflation though his mickey mouse cbn governor is still claiming 28%, wondering what he will be claiming now that all bankers are at home, naira devalued, unemployment on the rise etc He still maintains a single digit inflation on paper, I dey laugh.

Mr president is the only Nigerian president that has not initiated a successful programme even Abacha did better with ptf while IBB with FSP and MAMSA, Mr president is still confused with ''YOU WIN''and SURE-P, with zero benefit to the Nigerian people.
on that same vein, Nigeria has the second record high job cuts within the last 2yrs, if in doubt ask the bankers and manufacturing industries.
before his ascension into power, the naira was in a sorry state of 150 to 1 dollar today, Jonathan has handed us an unstable 182 to 1 dollar

June 2012: The dana crash is a testimony that Mr president’s aviation is comatose, not even the attorney general could challenge the allegations of the dana staff in court, in a national disaster of that magnitude?
The girl could have served as a prime witness in a class action against dana
Less than 6months of inconclusive investigations, DANA air hit the Tarmac again.

Still on military, Nigeria has the most under educated junior military officers, before you ask how, Mr president is too lazy to ask him self why imo with highest national examination enrollments still have the least NDA and police academy enrollments, while borno and zamfara as educationally less privileged, have higher quota than Delta and Anambra put together in military enrollments. Nepotism and corruption at its best
Mr President is the only head of state in the world whose wife is a ministry of its own.

January 2012: Under Mr president’s watch, a 250bilion subsidy programme rose to 2 trillion naira yet no arrest, no conviction, no sack, the best miserable Nigerians could get was an AWOL attorney general after 7days of protests. Height of incompetence and corruption.

Mr President is the only president in the world whose parliament gulps 75% of the national budget as alleged by the CBN Gov. yet they still soak themselves in $625m bribery scandal.
Jonathan has not even initiated let alone fulfilling a single campaign promises except the one that he needs to surround himself with brain dead women in his cabinet.

Nigerians say thank you Sir, for your 6 wasted years of leadership.

#Buhari Killed Awolowo#
This morning, as I listened to LATE HUBERT OGUNDE's
song:
"Oju Ogun laye igbeyin lo ju, k 'ori je ki igbeyin mi dun o, kin
da bi AWOLOWO"
I remember FREE EDUCATION and FREE HEALTH that I
enjoyed from 1979 to December 31, 1983.
Then, I only needed school uniform to go to school. Textbooks,
Exercise Books and other instructional materials were provided
free by the UPN govt.
Treatment in Hospitals (Including DRUGS) was FREE. Medical
personnel will even abuse parents for failure to bring their
children to the hospital on time.
I was enjoying all these when Buhari SCUTTLED
DEMOCRACY on December 31, 1983!
Buhari did not only killed democracy, he went on to JAIL Chief
Michael Adekunle Ajasin, the governor of the old Ondo State,
who was giving me Free Education and Free Health.
Buhari did not stop there, he placed Chief Obafemi Awolowo,
whose party, UPN was giving me Free Education and Free
Health under House Arrest.
Awolowo was to travel out of Nigeria for MEDICARE, Buhari
refused to let him travel.
The resultant effect of Buhari’s refusal to let Awolowo receive
medicare abroad was his death in 1987.

ur academic factor means nothing when it comes to picking a lover, because jonathan is caring enough to overlook her imperfections and focus on the things that matter.
Are you implying that Prof Wole Soyinka or Pat Utomi can consummate with a Patience Jonathan? you cannot be too sure, it takes like minds to attract each other, dumb people are more likely to end up together, don't be surprised that Jonathan may not have noticed how dumb his wife is, until Nigerians made it obvious?
Why did he allow the wife to be making public appearances at the onset of his administration but disappeared immediately the elections were close? he just realized how dumb his wife is, it takes a dumb person not to know that for so long.

but ur "anti-corruption" saint buhari is the same 1d1ot who happily served under nigeria's most corrupt administration (abacha), comes out to openly declare that abacha never stole any money, dines with bola tinubu and romances with atiku, but claims he is an "anti-corruption" agent.
Bola Tinubu is not safe with Buhari, mark my words, I am still not convinced Tinubu really wants Buhari to win, in his heart of hearts, Buhari may just be a Bargaining chip for Tinubu who will most likely cut PDP a juicy deal as the Election draw closer, I and other sane Nigerians want Buhari not Tinubu. Buhari romancing Atiku? are you h0rny?

Muhammadu buhari is a walking contradiction and an unapologetic hypocrite. The people actually dumber than this man are his supporters.

It depends on the level of information you have and its veracity, since the campaigns kicked off, I have challenged a lot of people here to sane discussions and each time, I am forced to conclude that the Nigerian internet space, is filled with dumb people.
I am sure that most of you here may not know the color of our national flag, let alone dissecting political events of 1997.

Buhari reigned supreme over the biggest challenge of the Nigerian society, only a dumb person doesn't know that.

Also, if being appointed to a post by a corrupt dictatorship like abacha's is the definition of competence, that makes you the incompetent's incompetent seeing as you were not appointed either but since you asked a question prior to the incompetence accusation, I'll hazard a guess and say that will be because me and my father were not hausa/fulani partisans like him........what excuse do you have?

June 2013: World Bank appraised him thus;

1. Buhari, Apsheet is name calling silly.

2. Nope. You stay consistent with your variables if you're running a comparative analysis. I don't know who you are but that The Economist is picking numbers out of their butts is highly impossible. They are using non rebased GDP and I confirmed it. However you look at it GEJ, rebased GDP or not, GEJ is worse off.

3. I blame a weak GEJ for playing politics and pandering to the governors request to spend if the story is even true. Another evidence that he lacks vision to instil fiscal discipline in his administration. Let's not even talk about the revenue losses from oil bunkering and missing funds from Gov't parastatals.

4. You make me guffaw here. At an average of $95 per barrel between 2011 and 2014, there should be enough saving for those long term projects. At least even if you're taking advantage of low interest rates to borrow, there should be a significant amount of savings and not debt surpassing depleted savings. Those rates are not even locked in. They fluctuate. GEJ and NOI have failed in this regards.

Long term infrastucture projects. I bet you mean refurbishing trains, building 400mw substations and a phantom Niger bridge that will be on toll for 25 years.

Please we are trying to secure Nigeria for ourselves and the unborn. No need to use the lens of politics to twist logic on its head.
I agreed with everything you wrote hitherto except your position on the Excess crude revenue account.

People confuse that account with the Foreign reserve, they are two different accounts as confirmed by Sanusi.

Before you blame the Governors for asking for the money to be shared, ask yourself, what was the money being used for?
It is on record that OBJ on Soludo's advise who opened the account paid subsidy from it and got us debt relief from the same account.

The Governors made their demands when it became clear that Yaradua's election was funded from that account.

secondly, Jonathan has no plan what so ever for that account except looting, he seems not to even understand what OBJ had in mind saving up such money.

Ask yourself, even after the sharing, part of the FG share of $1b was set aside as our SWF, tell me, where has Jonathan invested it? it has been 3yrs since the Lump sum ECR was shared. You are dealing with a totally clueless man here and no amount of re branding will change that.

About the person Eulogizing Iweala, was Iweala not the one who guaranteed the external loans for most governors? why will she do that? every month she pays them their allocation, share ECR then guarantee loans for them, no attempt to coerce Mr clueless to wake EFCC from slumber to put the Govs on a tighter leash, it was a jamboree under Iweala's watch.

Have you bothered to find out why OBJ fired her?

Iweala is as dumb as Mr clueless.

Every failure has an excuse, did Gowan blame his three years war with the Biafrans for his failure? Did Obasanjo blame the Cameroonians? which president in the world doesn't have distractions? Columbia? Did Shagari blame the Chadians neither did buhari blame the Maitasine, Did Yaradua blame the Militants? Your ability to deliver in tough times will distinguish you as a PhD holder.

What he has done against corruption? .........

Well, he has closed some traditional loopholes which served to keep corruption alive and well in the everyday business of governent.

- We have seen it in agriculture and the way farmers get seeds (electronic and straight to farmer) no more space for corrupt middle men.

- Engaging in contracts that leave little room for the usual kick-backs and non-performance. This is seen with the railways which is under the agreement which means it is delivered before payment is made.

- Even the nafdac scratch cards for drugs. Does it not make it less profitable to produce fake and dangerous drugs, which in itself is a corrupt practice that many have enrished themselves with?
Psychologists say that sanction is the most effective weapon for deterrence, how many of those thieves are in jail? Don't you think they may have been co opted into the new programme or re strategized to stay off radar? would it be so if they lost assets (biggest insurance of a corrupt man)? How can a man have his freedom and assets intact and you claim you are fighting corruption? does it make sense to you?
The electronic means can as well be compromised because people know that there is no punitive consequence for malfeasance.

- Getting rid of ghost workers
A presidential achievement in 2015? grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

- Privatising PHCN and taking it out of go hands as much as possible to ensure investment, employment and also deliver of service. Not only that, it was done and designed in such a way that no one company has a monopoly. If electricity circumvents politicians or gov agencies, there is less cance for corruption and bribery. It would now lead to a simple interection between supply and demand. The only way a company can make money now is through their customers.
Are you trying to flatter yourself, because one more lie from you i will curse you to the ground? why was Nnaji who brought the privatization and Balkanize idea relived of his duties? why will Nest oil a friend of the president be allowed to own power generating plants where it was clear they have no pedigree of power generation? while claiming Geometric Power is a conflict of interest, a company that has been Generating electricity before Jonathan got a PhD through Expo?

Where are the digital meters that will guarantee the phasing out of estimation billing method? why are we still paying service charge of 750 naira per recharge? A company operating in PH with a population of over 12m people, by virtue of buying cards, the company has made over
9billion, why will they bother giving you electricity when they have made their profits from source?
I think you don't even know what corruption is, ask your Son to tell you what they are taught in social studies about corruption.

I know that when some people say what has he done against corruption what they mean is, how many people has he jailed?

Jailing criminals should be part of it, but unless you address the system, you are actually encouraging corruption.
Jailing criminals is commonsense it is a dunce that sees it as rocket Science. people in the new institution you have built should remember that there was someone who was jailed for this particular offense they are about to commit, people should have fear of consequence, that is the system that works world over, a friend of thieves will say it is not possible in Nigeria because he doesn't want to be pardoning plenty thieves once they are out of prison.

The fear of EFCC used to be the beginning of wisdom, today, people commit financial fraud with impunity, they can always settle their way out.
Why do we need to buy police vehicles and govt official vehicles when we can seize assets of corrupt people? where will you get the resources to build your new institutions when you have not confiscated and discarded their assets? Imagine Ifeanyi uba getting back his Capital oil after stealing Access bank blind, shame on you!!

Armed forces are built over the years because even if you spend $10bn today, you cannot equip the Air Force, the Navy and the Army. They refused to build their capacity, they instigated crisis and now they are telling you they can fight insecurity.
I have warned people like you, keep your dumb opinions to yourself, stop parading it in public, it is an insult to sane Nigerians to be reading from extremely dumb people.
Mr President, your dumbness has become a national tragedy, how can you make such a comment?
Mr President you attended the last United nations General assembly and I have you on quote that Boko haram are foreign elements on Nigerian soil. That was the opinion you echoed in New york before world leaders with sophisticated intelligence gathering apparatchik that can easily verify your claims, why are you lying to Nigerians that the Northerners instigated crisis?

“They said the military is corrupt. When this insecurity started, we had nothing so to tackle it very quickly, we used vendors to get equipment. But now, we are doing government to government arrangement and so there is nothing like corruption anymore. Is that not the way to fight corruption? You must prevent people from touching public money.”
Mr president have you no shame? you used vendors like Asari and tompolo to procure arms for the Nigerian people, since you were born have you heard it before? has it ever happened? you started govt to govt when you were barred from procuring NATO rounds and equipments, who advised you otherwise? are you sure you know anything about Nigeria before you became the president? the Americans after dealing with you advised you to stop using "vendors" and negotiate directly with countries.
Have you prosecuted the top generals who squandered the previous budgets?

Jonathan said since his generation had failed Nigeria, it was important for the youths to vote for those who would invest in their future.

He said it was his dream for the next generation of Nigerians to fly to the moon.

He said, “Those of my age and above are finished; we are gone. That is why I am addressing those of you that are voting for the first time. We believe it is you that will take us to the moon. My generation has failed, we couldn’t take Nigeria to the moon.
Mr president, you failed Nigerians, OBJ met three critical challenges as president, Our banks were collapsing on a bi annual basis (societal generale,Savanna comes to mind), we were in darkness, we could not communicate, we were sinking in huge debt profile.

First 4yrs of OBJ, we were able to communicate effectively, 2nd year into his second tenure our Banks grew from indigenous to multinational banks, with robust capital base, stimulated money market, we secured some huge debt relief from the Paris club, unfortunately the NIPP could not complete before he left, Mr president, Obasanjo as old as he is got Nigeria right 3/4, what excuse do you have to fail with your vibrant blood and PhD?

Mr president, you met us in darkness (though OBJ's NIPP has done 60% of the job),you met a tremendous corruption, you met huge unemployment, you met terrorism. Mr President, how did you fare with these challenges? Mr President on your 6th year, you are yet to score 0/4, admit sir, that you are an irredeemable failure.

“Look at what India is doing? I said for us to get to the moon, our first class graduates should be sent to the best 25 universities in the world for postgraduate studies.

“ So you must vote wisely. They will build prisons for you but I will build universities for you. I will build primary schools and secondary schools .”

He said the APC was not on a mission to fight corruption but to jail their enemies. He, therefore, urged Nigerians not to vote for the party.
Admit it Mr president, we will never be like India with you piloting the affairs of this country.

Jonathan laughed at the reported endorsement of Buhari by the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta.

He said it was unfortunate that the group which was responsible for killing Nigerians on October 1, 2010 was the one identifying with the APC.

He also alleged that MEND jailed leader, Henry Okah, was paid to kill him in 2010.
Mr president, Mr Okah said in his sworn affidavit in a south African court that he was the only militant leader who refused to be bribed with your proposed Amnesty programme, we know that the other militants are members of your cabinet and feeding fat on Nigeria's common wealth, while the carnage in the Niger delta still remained unattended to till date.
Mr president, the Militants who benefited from your Amnesty programme, did you ask them if they did anything to salvage the environment they were agitating for? oh! Asari just opened a University in Benin republic, is Cotonou equally part of the Niger delta? could Henry Okah be right after all?

Earlier, the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Godswill Akpabio, said the alleged missing money from the treasury was a propaganda tool created by the APC.

Akpabio said, “We (governors) were the ones that told Mr. President that we should share the 55bn. We said we could not be saving while our people are hungry. Will you be saving when your child is in the hospital?

“If your child dies, wouldn’t you be a fool? The money was shared by the three tiers of government so no money is missing.”

He did not say if the money was in naira or dollars.
Mr Akpabio, I know you are a f00l but I never expected your buffoonery to degenerate to schizophrenia so quickly, the case in court between the FG and the Govs forum was on the sharing of the ECR (Excess crude revenue), an account a well meaning Nigerian Obasanjo put together after he has paid off all our debt amidst high crude prices.

Mr Akpabio, you never advised Jonathan to save a kobo for us or bring out a laudable policy that will change the landscape of our polity at least for future Govts like you, who benefited from your predecessor, you have the temerity to lie that the Governors shared our "FOREIGN RESERVES", are you Schizoprenic to confuse the ECR with foreign reserves? or you think that an Election season makes Nigerians perpetually dumb?

Foreign reserve is missing that is what stabilizes the Naira when crude prices fall, today, Naira is at a free fall because there is no reserve to support it, you and Jonathan should tell us where the money is, the SWF which happen to be the FG's share of the shared ECR, is equally missing about $1b. We need answers before we send your pay master back to Otuoke in Feb.

Not to worry, you won't fight corruption at all because this is your unfettered legacy.

June 2013: World Bank appraised him thus;

I did not compare it with the Nigerian economy. I posted an excerpt from an article published very recently which shows that even a country with a more diverse economy than our own, which does not depend on oil, is experiencing the same economic problems that we are experiencing due to the fall in oil prices. And also to show that its own reserves have similarly reached a four year low because they are defending their currency. If you remember, we defended our own currency untill we realized that were not buoyant enough to continue doing so.

My aim was to show people that corruption and stealing does not explain away everything.

read this post very carefully and ask questions where you are lost.

Do you know who the current OPEC chairman is?? guess?? HE Abdourhman Ataher Al-
Ahirish, Libyan Vice Prime Minister
for Corporations .
On the OPEC table, Libya presents a paltry 1.5mbbls/day, Nigeria puts a whooping 2.5mbbls/day now that is a capacity that cannot be ignored.

A head of state of a country like Nigeria should make OPEC chairmanship paramount on his foreign policy list, that is the brilliance you cannot get from Jonathan, to him, his politics starts with Bamangar Tukur and ends with Amaechi, that is the petty politics that pre occupies his mind.

He forgets that the fate of Nigeria, politically and economically lies on international politics not petty politics.

Back to OPEC, if Libya could get the OPEC seat, why not Nigeria? is it rocket science? of course, for a dumb Jonathan administration, it is indeed a herculean task but I tell you this day, it is not with a positive political will.

About Saudi, well, they are the highest OPEC producer and an important ally of the west, however, as it stands today, The USA is producing highest in the world above Saudi and Russia what it means is that it will get to a point where USA will not need them anymore except for being the middle east police, a job Israel is doing very well which leaves the USA with options.

THE POLITICS

The USA wants oil price down, a single weapon that will humble Putin, downgrade ISIS, and force Iran to make more Nuclear concessions, you know that ISIS makes as much $2b from oil sales stolen from Iraq and Syria oil fields.

to achieve that, the USA needs OPEC who by antecedent has been uncooperative but an ally like Saudi and being the highest producer in OPEC seems to be playing along this time.

THE SAUDI INTEREST:

With a foreign reserve of over $780b Saudi believes they can weather this present storm for a pretty long time, conversely, looking at Saudi's 2015 budget who pegged their oil benchmark at $80 there is no doubt they will run a budget deficit.

Saudi sees the US shale oil as big threat that will most likely push away their North American clients, to them they will like the price to drop to $50/bbl, which will make shale oil unattractive.

It costs between $50 to $60 to produce shale oil, at a price below $70, Shale oil will become unattractive to the American private sector, they will no longer have the capacity to service their exploratory loans, bad debt will ensue and finally will pull out, (we know that exploratory drilling in the Arctic, deep waters and North sea, is very capital intensive) returning the market to status quo. that is Saudi's long term strategy.

Also, Saudi may not like Russia and Iran to take some of its customers should he opt for a supply cut, in my opinion, it is mere paranoia because the production cost of Saudi ($6) is far lower than Russia's ($100), a few discounts here and there keeps your customers in tact. furthermore, It will only happen if Saudi should cut supply ALONE, I don't want that also. This is where a vibrant OPEC chief has to do some home work, he must have the ability to carry along both member and non member producers.

My annoyance is this; why does Nigeria a big player in OPEC, with the lightest crude therein, bereft of any strategy in the face of this crisis?

Whether my plan will work? well, just recently , Libya declared a force ma jeure on their biggest oil field that action cut out 1mbbls from the market, the price effect was a jump from $54 to $63 in just 18hrs, imagine what will happen if 2.5mbbls was withdrawn? it is no rocket science but common sense.

people argue on the contrary that a cut in production will embolden the OPEC rivals to increase production, that theory is subjective, because for every barrel you pump, there is an associated cost to it, therefore, the more they pump to saturate the market, the price will crash further at a point, it will no longer be profitable and both the left and right wing interest groups don't want that to happen.

The shale oil causing all this wahala, is only profitable above $65, how much loses will Exxon incur below $60 before they close down their Shale oil field in North Dakota?
The Shale oil field in Texas is only profitable above $75, what it means is that if OPEC withdraws production and the price jumps to $75-$80, countries like Nigeria will recover from budget deficit while the oil fields in Texas will not dare pump further for fear of rendering their oil useless.

WHERE JONATHAN FAILED WOEFULLY:

Immediately US started their shale production enmasse, Jonathan would have a comprehensive foreign policy to strategically position Allison Madueke as the next OPEC chairlady at all cost. On that seat, we can influence a significant cut in OPEC output which stands today at 40% of world's total oil production ofcourse, with the support of other members whose economies are negatively affected.

This is the best time to woo, Russia and Mexico to join OPEC, that will increase OPEC stakes to 50% of the world's oil being the second and 10th largest producer in the world, a sound OPEC chairman knows that Russia as an OPEC signatory will strike a great blow to the USA.

But for a clueless soul who have enthroned his personal interest above national interest, a man who knows nothing about strategies that will likely make or mar his economy, guess I and my fellow country men should live to bear the brunt.

When buhari said he can do it, I have no doubt he is thinking what im thinking.

At least approach a response with some class and at least some intellectual reasoning....lol The above is such a poor showing.

Buhari knows nothing about modern terrorism, he has never fought it. The people that know and are currenntly fighting terrorism, I mean todays terrorism, are not among Nigeria's retired generals.

In other countries, such as mine, terrorist plots are actually foiled. The military are not just left to play soldiers with them. They have intelligence outfits that stop them before they can even pack explosive into a car and cause a Nyanya bombing, or a wuse bombing.

Here anti terrorist squads arrest these people in their homes.........no need to go to Sambisa forest to stage a shoot out.

Or do you think places like the UK and US are no longer on the terrorist list of prime targets?

Lol, they have largely been unable to pull of another 911 or London bombing, and its not because of some retired generals.

Why do you think in Nigeria BH bombs and even kidnaps at will? But in other places like the UK and US, not so much?

'Decorated Buhari' has been in Nigeria all along, with the bombing and has not contributed to any solution, in fact he rather comes out with unproductive messages, totally unrelated with any type of solution, but rather stoking the fire.

To him, its obviously more important to use his air time to be anti Jonathan

If he feels he and his retirees know the answer, how selfish of him not to have come out with it before now, rather than holding his "end BH in a month" cards to his chest. Holding Nigeria randsom to elect him first.

No military man, decorate or not, that is patriotic and holds the lives of his fellow citizens highly would do that.

So, yes my friend I will say so, again and again..............Buhari does not know how to combat modern terrorism, he does not know that it is a mindset that is to be fought, an indoctrination and not just some rag-tag rebel army.

By the way, in your reply, please try to remember the manners you were brought up with.......thanks in advance.

Clearly, you have acknowledged that we have no national data base of the poor. Now, you referred to INEC's database and that of the bank, amazingly, you forget that INEC's database is all inclusive, it captures all Nigerians from the age of 18. However, Buhari's plan is intended for only the poor in the society and the primary school pupil who are apparently under 18.
Does INEC keep a record of poor families in Nigeria or a record of Nigerians under 18? If so, How do u identify these group in INEC's database? ----you have failed in this regard
It is one thing to read, it is a different ball game to understand, what you inferred is not what that post means, it simply means that if INEC could have to a great extent, Banks to a great extent, even FRSC to a large extent, how much more the FG, if there is the political will to do it and also sincerity of purpose, BTW, a country that can conduct census can have a national data base, i wont explain again if you choose to misunderstand anything I write.

When you say "what does it take to create a comprehensive national database"? You make it sound so simple, like a walk in the park. Was it that simple for INEC to capture all Nigerians of 18yrs and above without duplication? Was it that simple to capture Nigerians on the National ID card programme? During the previous ID card programme, after capturing the data, how long did it take to have the Identification?.
Though these two programs were all inclusive, yet it took painstaking effort and considerable length of time to accomplish them, how easy do you think it would be to capture only a certain section of the society, whose eligibility would have to be determined by factors that could be difficult to verify? For instance, what's the benchmark for determining a poor family in the society? You must admit that creating a database of poor families would be a very complex process.
This is a personal opinion i guess, so it is up to your IQ to figure out whether or not it is gonna be easy, to me, it is a walk in the park, to a dumb Jonathan, it can take a decade.

You also asked "how corpers are paid"? But again u failed to remember that Buhari was not referring to serving corp members, Buhari's plan is to pay certain allowance to ex corp members for 1 year after their national service. But the question I raised was, what if the corp member gets employed a month after national service or within the 1 year of post NYSC allowance, how would they know without a database that monitors and captures the employment status of citizens each passing day?
All he needs is to put a law that companies, agencies and parastatals must send to a particular bureau the list of fresh graduates they take, where you fail to comply and gets fired, or jailed, bros, everybody will comply, it wont make sense to you if you were raised in a corrupt laden society, how do you think Obama announces the number of jobs he created? simple! because there is an agency that collates information of recently employed persons. When you land your self in jail or fined for collecting govt welfare when you have a Job, no be person go tell you word, did you remember what Buhari did to those traders who went to claim govt subsidized food while Hoarding theirs?
The doctors who diverted PTF drugs to their private clinics? well, I think it is time to call your father

I can unequivocally say again, for a project like this to be successful and efficient, it requires a careful plan and would therefore take a considerable length of time. He would most likely spend most of his administration planning this. FACT

You have failed to provide straightforward and concise answers to most of the questions I posed. You only succeeded in making unrelated references and comparisons and provided only ambiguous answers.

The study of such strategies is called foreign policy analysis. In recent times, due to the deepening level of globalization and transnational activities, the states will also have to interact with non-state actors....wikki
You see young man, I gave you time to research and as expected, you failed like every other Nigerian youth, the blame is not solely on you but the Government of the day who denied you sound education. whatever logic or explanation or information I will give you after now will be useless because it is just way beyond your pay grade, as a matter of fact, the answers to those questions are as easy as knowing in figures, Nigeria's Oil production, where you dont know anything, how am I supposed to help you?

Pick up your books and read, where you think you have an opinion, just post emoticons we will definitely understand.

Sorry! and have a nice day!!

I think the more intelligent question to ask is what the money has been spent on. A man who prides himself in having saved a lot of money in the bank while his family are starving cannot be said to have achieved anything spectacular. It is the one who is able to improve the lives of his people by investing in their education, feeding, infrastructure (railways, Power Supply etc), etc , that can be said to have managed the resources better. There has been no evidence of your Jihadist 'messiah', GMB, doing anything meaningful for the pas 30 years after being kicked out of power. It should worry you that you are committing so much of your useful time and resources in propagating a non-achiever, whose only achievement was in organizing a coup, to foist on the nation an era of tyranny coupled with the abuse of basic rights of the citizens. It is not surprising that he was kicked out before he could complete his transformation into the new Idi Amin in Africa. Never again shall we allow a mediocre who in better climes, would be serving time in jail, to come and take over the nation. GMB should go back to the only vocation he was involved in, for the past 30 years after being kicked out of power which is the nomadic rearing of cows, for which his people and type are known for. GEJ till 2019.
Isn't this becoming an unpopular opinion lately?

Think before you talk. The "loot" was shared between your state governor and local government chairman. You are indirectly in the looting yourself. MUmu
The ECR was shared with the governors, not foreign Reserves, they are two different accounts. Is the federal Govt not supposed to use the EFCC to put the Governors on a tight leach to ensure money is not misappropriated?
In this case, Iweala was helping them to guarantee foreign loans, paying them federal allocations and ECR, when there is nothing to show for the money.
FG is totally responsible.
BTW the state Govs started asking for their share of the money when FG was using it to fund elections,2007/2011 rings a bell

Malaysia’s Foreign Reserves Fall 14 Percent to Lowest Since 2011

Anyone notice anything similar about the date 2011? Moving on, see if you also notice anything similar about the reason why

Malaysia’s foreign-exchange reserves dropped to the lowest level since March 2011, a sign the central bank may have intervened to stem a slide in Southeast Asia’s worst-performing currency.

The holdings fell 14 percent to $116 billion as of end-December from a year earlier, Bank Negara Malaysia data showed today. They declined 4 percent from the previous fortnight. The ringgit has weakened 10 percent since June and dropped to a five-year low of 3.5862 a dollar yesterday. It closed 0.4 percent higher at 3.5665 in Kuala Lumpur today.

A slide in global crude prices has put pressure on the ringgit, posing a revenue risk for oil-exporting Malaysia, which is seeking to lower the fiscal deficit to 3 percent of gross domestic product in 2015 from 3.5 percent.....

Nigerians want a strong Naira and an untouched foreign reserve... we should all keep dreaming. The only reason reserves are going up again is because the naira has been devalued, which is the right thing to do at times like this: devalue your currency, pay off domestic debt, and continue capital projects.
Malaysia is the 29th oil producer in the world (886,000bbl/d), Nigeria is number 13 (2.5mbbl/d).
A producer at 29th position have a reserve of $116b after the slide (according to your facts), meaning it was higher before then, the 13th producer has $4b left after a slide with huge debt profile, are you not supposed to be ashamed of yourself?
It is only a f00l, mediocre and a m0r0n that doesn't feel cheated when it is pretty obvious.
