jennykadry: You's won't understand, not everyone gets a second chance in life. I got one and I am grateful to God. I have not stopped crying and thanking him, I laid on the ground on the streets thanking him. No one would have experienced what I experienced and come out of it alive without a single scratch.

I had an accident recently whilst driving on 110k/hr. My car tumbled (according to passersby) a few times before it stopped. Al I could remember was me screaming "Jesus,Jesus Jesus" as it tumbled and for a second I thought I was dead. Cars stopped and someone called the ambulance, I was in tears and all I asked them to do for me was call my NOK. Helicopters came to airlift me from the scene of accident and fire trucks came incase the car exploded. I was able to get out of the car with the help of the people that gathered around. When I jumped out of the car I heard people say "this is a miracle".

Got to the hospital and everything was fine. Left the hospital after a few hours. Whether you believe in God or not, join me in thanking him.

ok i just resisted the temptation to bash you @jp philips. Lemme take it in a cool way.
Thank you for your kind consideration at least i still have a shot, preferably an upper cut this time.

The reason i asked that woman if she or women would value a man's virginity is becos i just wanted her to see the double standard there is in the society. I know they dont value it. Not that i support compulsary abstanance.
the double standard has been there before your fathers, should it be an issue today? OR you may be asking to know if you are a partaker in the "glory" of female virgins (since you asked her "since they want men to honor theirs, why shouldn't they honor male virgins"?). if you don't support compulsory abstinence, why are you practicing it?

As for the pride you accused me of, well i think i have have made my point already.
I dont expect you to admit that pride either, it is a psychological manifestation lol

And blaming social ineptitude for my not doing it only goes to show that your thinking isnt broad enough.

You think i need self esteem to have s.ex? I have been to so many place where no body knows meand have spent substantial time there. If s.ex is what i want, i would have walked into some of the houses around there and you know i do not need 'social competence' to go there. What about ra.pe? Infact, the 'social incompetnce' as you call it is the reason people go to LovePeddler and ra.pe.
Ok, in your case, I may not know your reason hence the wild guess, but here is a quote from one of ur justifications

and i do not feel better than anyone! And no, i am ok the way i am. i.e, i do not want to lose it yet. Dont think i am a christian. Infact, i hate religion and christianity is the most evil of all.
from the above i can safely deduce that you are not Doing it for God, so what are your other reasons?

here is your quote;

The reason i want to keep it is becos my friends tell me that when you sleep with a woman you are not married to, there is every likely hood that what you feel for her would begin to diminish.
WTF is that thing you wrote up there? are you saying there are no people who had s3x before marriage, later marry and have successful marriages? by contemplating that fallacy from your friends is enough reason for me to conclude you are socially less privileged. if you are socially privileged, you don't need your disgruntled friends to second guess your possible outcome or sell you Ape opinions.

believe me, from what i have read here, if you could afford a w.#.o.r.e, you wouldn't have been a virgin by now.
BEC GOD ORDAIN IT ONLY FOR MARRIED COUPLES.
God condemns sexual imm0rality no doubt, but i don't take a virgin with that excuse seriously except when she has proved beyond doubt that she has the fear of God and faithful to God's words in all ramifications.

How can you expect me to keep your virginity because you said you love God but the least chance you get you lie through ur cvnt.

the same bible says all liars will go to hell and you keep virginity to please God then lie to please who? me? i be god?

a woman does not attach sentiment to a man that helped her keep her virginity rather she honors the man who took it first.

you are definitely on the wrong side of the game,

I doubt it very much becos i think when we make love, then we are expressing feelings to each other. But what if my friends are right? Afterall, these are experienced people! It means we will be losing this thing we share. But i wouldnt like to lose the sweet feeling i have for my woman.
if you don't feel better than everyone the bold part wont surface in your post, it is psychological, you are not in control, you guys don't even know when you say sh!t like that, u see what everyone is saying? your state of mind as a virgin is saddled with mega superiority complex, some arrogance that no sane man will take from a woman who is meant to be submissive to him.

in your case, you should be more ashamed because most men have been on that path, you have just not conquered the world, you are simply not on top of your game and psychologically you want to hide behind the virginity clout to garner sympathy in a pseudo pride, little wonder you asked the other girl if she appreciates virginity in men, here is what you don't know, emotionally women are more stable than men so it is easy for most girls to see through your social weakness and jettison you like the pariah you are.

Virginity in men count for nothing, keeping it as a man is an indicator that you are a loser and think you can justify it, wot is the difference between your wet dreams and the Womanliness 0rg@sm? your countless w.@.n.k.i.ng sessions nko?

you are just living in denial and if you scrutinize your life, you are definitely saddled with a lot of inefficiencies.

Oga, Abeg, leave virginity for women and go bury your face in shame if you cant shut up about your incompetence in the social game.

Nauttyprof: Being a Virgin is the best gift a lady can give to her husband. In fact to be honest with you all, in case there is any delay of any sort (i mean pregnancy), the husband will be confident enough to say he knows it is only a delay from God and he won't think otherwise. The husband can go to any length to trust his wife but if it were to be the other way second thought comes in no matter the existing bond.

N.B: I'm referring to genuine husband.
Oga every case of infertility has a medical explanation, now, i am talking about proper hospitals aka fertility clinics not miracle centers or healing homes

if the doctor tells you that your wife's hormone is low,or fibroid, will you attribute it to the s3x she has had in the past?

what if you are the one with low sperm count? you will put it on ur wives virginity again? I agree with the going to any length part, that is why some men even when they catch their gate man on top of Madam, they have a way to convince themselves that it is their own shadow, doing his job by proxy.

d light: virginity still remain a treasured gift for any lady across cultures and it will ever be. Purity before marriage helps to strenghten the cord of marriage as the couples learn to trust each other even in face of doubting circumstance, there won't be suspicion of any kind about they move or what they do while they are not together and once trust can be established any other thing is secondary.
in your opinion, when the woman is a virgin, she earns trust and when the man is not a virgin what do you propose?

if the Man trust the woman and the woman's paranoia polices the man, what kinda marriage will that be?

and when the man is carried away with that trust and gives the woman a reason to cheat, how long do you think it will take to burst her?

I heard from a reliable DNA center in that 45% of Nigerian Men didn't father their children, of course when when you keep a virgin at home and ignore tale signs because of "cheap virginity trust blackmail" you will most likely father your landlord's kids without knowing it.

Most strong decoders especially the DVB series are not FCC compliant, it simply means that it has the tendency to interfere on other EMT devices.
first, while the decoder is on and the channel is showing, turn off the home theater, if it persists, downgrade your mobile phone network to 2g or if possible select offline mode, if it persists unplug any 3g modem you have on your computer, turn off your computer, also turn off the microwave if it is close.

once it stops, start turning on everything in this same order while you check for the cracks, you will discover the culprit.

Romance › Re: What Is Wrong In Marrying A Lady Who Is A Virgin? by jpphilips(m):
Timothy from Dublin says;

it reminds me of a friend i met sometime in Nigeria, this guy told me that where he comes from in Anambra State, there is this ritual that the Men use their semen to make money, the ritual is a spiritual dimension targeted at using the semen as a conduit to get to generations unborn, because its spiritual, when eventually they get married, the doctors can’t really see anything, all the tests will prove them to be okay, but in the end the family remains childless,

at the end of our meeting, i pondered over his story but never thought that a reasonable girl will fall for such crap until i remembered the ''virgins''

young man, u have so much sentimental attachment with this girl not becos you love her but u re thrilled with the fact that at her age, she is still a virgin dats y it seems so much a big deal to you,

Let me ask you another question, have you ever dis virgined a girl in your lifetime?
of course i can guess your answer, when u were stuck with her for 11yrs only God knows if u aint a virgin yourself,

the day u will disvirgin a girl then you will understand y pple here tell u its all hype, psychologically, u re entering dat marriage with high expectations and trust me u will surely be disappointed,

let us get down to common sense; these are girls that are created with equal number of hormones like their counterparts, coexist in the same society, the next question is y re they not like the other girls?

second question; can i cope with the reason y they re who they are?

do you think it is easy for them as the weaker vessels to retain their virginity till such age while we the stronger in most cases cannot retain, it wont be out of place to say that they have a stronger counter force to say NO irrespective of the circumstance, which ever it is
i bet you my friend you cant cope,

in my opinion, those girls re not Normal, they re not your everyday girls, they are not Adventurous, dont mind them when they say, if we get married, we will have lots of sex
then ask her what happened to the restraining force that kept her for 28yrs, mere marriage cant remove that, ie when you hear experienced people tell you they re never good in bed even in marriage
reason;
they are not adventurous and they are not thrilled by what is new, the only reason she will have intimacy with you even in marriage is procreation any thing outside that you re on your own, its a psychological issue

Dr graham, has this to contribute;

During my early years, i was opportune to do a practice on clinical psychology and my patients then were one of a kind, at a point i wanted to write a book about a psychological disease called virginity

during one of my sessions, there was this couple that the wife always denies him sex, or sometimes would want to trade it for favors, so when they told me their story, i tried counseling them, but i realized something, the lady in question has something she thinks abt herself

outside the irrational things she says like ''if u wanna send me packing then keep me the way i was when u married me''
words like '' you think im like any other girl you pick on the road'' and a lot of bullish stuffs that i perceived is making her think she is superior to her husband because of her sexual canopy

i decided to take them on separate sessions to my greatest chagrin i realized the lady in question is a Narcissist, though i nearly misconstrued it for pride
it was at this verge that i asked the question and she said of course YES with so much pride in her eyes

then i ran a scan through my mind and found out that the force behind that social anomaly is Narcissism and phobia.

then i understood why someone will want to trade her sexual disposition.
dats wen you hear words like

''no sex before marriage''

psychologically speaking,

she sees it that she is coming with a big stuff as such, you should make a big move to earn it.and the contest continues even after marriage, in the end you, will definitely lose control of your home to cheap sexual blackmail for peace to reign.
or she is so scared that she cant compromise if the union is not justified meaning; she is trading her virginity for marriage,

before you marry this girl, ask your self the ff questions

CAN I COPE WITH EXTREME NARCISSISM?

CAN I COPE WITH HER SEX PHOBIA?

cos those are the two main reasons why they are still virgins at 28 and make no mistakes, these reasons never disappear even in marriage, if you ask me, u seem like someone who cares about sex, without mincing words, she aint your type, look elsewhere,

Virginity is just a physical state that u wont know when it disappears on your first nite(ie if she will let you) Grin Grin its all about societal perception, just the same way the white girls cry at Michael jackson's concert and in Africa they think well, he is a good dancer Making his money Grin Grin

A woman's worth is not rated under her sexual canopy, its just that our today's women have run out of ideas to add value to themselves other than a piece of meat with tension stress less than 0.00102nm Grin Grin what a shame we bought the trend,

i have a million and one instances to make you understand that you are about to make a mistake of your life,

make no mistakes again, never you think that a virgin in marriage will never cheat, cheating has no connection with marriage whatsoever, ask your self, the girls that cheat, were they not once virgins? in other words, if you marry her, dis virgin her and give her reasons to cheat, she is up to it, the same way you can marry a non virgin, gives her reason to stay and she sticks with you.

My advise; the only virgin that is worthy of marriage are the ones that never told you they are virgins in the first place,or make assertions that insinuates it but somehow, they were able to wade you off sex for personal reasons, some could be upbringing some could be religion in this case, u will see for yourself that she has a great deal of respect for God in all ramifications not only on sexual matters(cos she can as well use it as a front), any thing short my dear, ''BAGGAGES AT OWNERS RISK''

I doubt if you will chose a lazy, Nagging, poor hygienic virgin over a non virgin with opposite traits.

shouldn't there be a law that condemns this virginity bull, categorizing women under their sexual canopy is discrimination just like racism, why are women taking this? where are the women right activists when you need them?

if i am to chose women over their sexual formations, then i will ignore virgins and go for extremely wet pu$$ies,
tight pu$$ie$, crazy Bj girls, big ar$e, big b00bs etc.

is a virgin with tiny boobs competitive? i don't think so, a flat ar$ed virgin? hmmmmm!

i think we are insane as human beings, total misplaced priorities

Politics › Re: Jonathan Signs 2013 Budget Into Law by jpphilips(m):
manny4life: You do realize that the almost $6billion in the budget was as a result of the added increased budget which NASS insisted upon. NASS had insisted on their constituency projects, besides, I never talked about debt.

Now we're on the debt topic, the debt is gonna increase, however, comparing last year's budget that was financed by debt to this year's budget, this year decreased.

Whether Oil dependence decreased or not, you cannot sell what you don't have. Oil contribution WAS 100% of derivation of what the FG allocation so I'm not getting your point. If NASS did not want that extra billion for their projects, the budget will still reflect a significant changes of oil financing our budget from last year. In fact, from the link below, OIL could ONLY finance 55% of our budget last year @$72 benchmark, and not even 78% like I read before.

At the end of the day, you have to borrow for capital projects, so it does favor us because our oil revenue is LIMITED and thus FG share of Oil revenue has been exhausted. In other words, if you borrow to do capital projects for a long term, it's no rocket science that it will end up paying itself back, but a lot can be achieved. So YES, it favors us. Besides, our debt is less than 20% of our current economy, which is still good, and there's forecast that it will further go down as industries start coming online

Again, the senate increased it to $79 even after GEJ refused and wanted it to be $74, why do u think it wasn't passed? It wasn't because of dangers, it was because of the greed of NASS members who want constituency projects accommodated in the budget. Meanwhile GEJ wanted it SAVED and make due with what we have with limited financing. Due to their refusal, debt financing that was supposedly to be trending down increase a lil further. Please visit the link below.

http://www.budgetoffice.gov.ng/2012_appropriation_act/2012%20Budget%20Presentation.pdf

Keep in mind that our debt servicing as well has increased
i think we are saying almost the same thing, the only difference being that while i perceive a bad Omen, you think it is ok in the long run, well, let us keep our pen!s crossed and see what light you anticipate at the end of the tunnel.

which do you prefer?

a) use oil proceeds to finance capital projects
b) borrow from foreign sources to finance capital projects

I asked you if you know the dangers of pegging your benchmark at $79/bbl?

The reports are there, if u want it, I can send you a link. Take it up with them, I only argue based on FACTS and not hearsay...
i only said the facts are twisted, the 2012 budget handed us a debt service charge of 540billion, now we have a 2013 handing us 591.7billion,

does it show that the debt is increasing or decreasing?

now you are happy the dependence on oil is reduced to 78% while debt increased by 21% does it make any progressive sense?

if you chose not to use oil money but use borrowed money, how did you do us a favor?

now the senate has increased the oil benchmark to $79 from $74 proposed abinitio, hope you understand the dangers.

according to you, we used to fund budget with 90% oil revenue, now it is 78% with 21% debt, lol who is fooling who?

manny4life: There's nothing wrong in defending your paymaster fucktardious maniac

Here it is foolishh cretinous anuofia

sn't Fashola the co-chairperson of the National Governors Forum after the Rivers Governor? How could an important state like Lagos, and Fashola being very vocal, be at National Govt Forum / National Economic Council meeting, they agree, leave the meeting in peace, Fashola NEVER objected only for him to change his mouth now. The funny thing was that IT WAS ENDORSED BY THE 36 GOVERNORS not 35 govt, BUT 36 GOVERNORS including Oshimole of Edo state, it wasn't ill-conceived then, I bet if there was something to sign, he probably signed one...

I fear fashola die, this was how he changed in oil subsidy, was at the forum and endorsed the removal, as soon as the shitt hit the fan, he change 180 degrees. I pity people who still have hopes on this man, this will prolly be the third time he has 180 deg shifted on national issues and started speaking big English. This is a man whom you want to trust with presidency? He will tell you good words on the campaign trail only for him to change in the first hour he steps into office.

Anyway, this was from ---> http://www.channelstv.com/home/2013/02/24/fg-insists-on-national-good-governance-tour-in-edo-state/
i don't really see the economic importance of the much touted Good governance tour, your argument is very weak, the Governor's forum is not a constitutional body as such does not hold sway over any elected governor with a divergent view, trying to use his refusal to cast aspersion on his integrity sounds more asinine than objective.

I am not surprised Oshomole and Fashola reneged, the federal government put a proposal for the state governors but the details at the time was unclear or sketchy especially as it pertains to the number of delegates and the financial implications, you cannot swear on your life that fashola was aware from the onset that Maku will be visiting with 120 clowns.
if they realized that what they thought was a mere jerry gana like "familiarization tour" has been turned into a political jamboree, are you saying that sane Governors don't have the right to decline?

i am glad you raised the subsidy saga, the FG agreed with the Governors that subsidy will be withdrawn in April last year, only for the nuisance in power to withdraw it in January at a time where the euphoria of festivities was still at its peak. it is not surprising that sane governors opposed that breach, do you expect an accomplished technocrat like fashola or a radical labor leader like oshiomole to suddenly turn around and become a political halleluiah boy to a charge and bail zoologist led federal government who confuses the Nigerian people with animals in yankari games reserve? i don't think so.

The Good governance team was in Rivers state, was there any admonition on Amaechi for inflated Govt projects? or the tour doesn't cover that? the white elephant mono rail project in rivers state has gulped a whooping 200billion of tax payers money like myself and foreign loans within a short space of 4yrs since that contraption was conceived.

i believe Maku did not miss the project site which is situated directly in front of Government house, what was Maku's verdict on Amaechi as regards the project status of the Mono rail project? lemme guess, pass mark?

over 200billion spent in 4yrs and we have only 2km pillars to show for it? was Maku not supposed to point it out?

The Ada george to airport road dualization project is over 4yrs old and River's tax payers have sunk in a few billions in that project as we speak, that road is not motorable, did maku point that out?

now, if the good governance tour is for Federal projects alone but absolves state Government projects, how many federal projects are there in rivers state?

the flood victims by now have gone back to salvage whatever is left of their homes, east west road (another federal project) has not seen light on Rivers axis except some few bridges still at the primordial stages of construction, is that why rivers tax payers should entertain over 120 delegates? to see some RCC abandoned bridges?

portharcort - Enugu expressway on portharcourt axis is undergoing patch work by Ferma which by December has demobilized from site, is that what Maku wants to come and see? road patches?

Maku was in Delta state where he was honored graciously with tax payers money in view of the good governance tour what was his verdict on incompetent General ugly faced Uduaghan? another pass mark i guess?

are you aware that Miserable Uduaghan received over 17.2billion naira in federal allocations alone for the month of May last year and has been receiving like sums till date, what projects did Maku see on ground in delta that justifies the money spent so far to earn his pass mark? rightly put, the pass mark was a function of the envelope size he parted with not necessarily projects on ground.

Abia state has no single road in the whole of Ngwa land, what was Maku's verdict?

in his words i quote

"Abians have so far reaped enormous dividend of Democracy under the Governorship of Theodore orji"

I am sure most Abians will disagree with that fallacy, because portharcort road is a true manifestation of the !diocy of Gov. orji, please don't tell me its a federal road because that road is a major road at the heart of Aba.

if we really want to be honest to ourselves, is it not the peak of prejudice for one to host his supposed evaluator? if my evaluator is entitled to some benefits as it is the case here, what is the guarantee that the assessment wont be biased?

do you expect Maku to score Gov. orji low after enjoying his sumptuous "Ashe" in the comfort of the Governors lodge and a take home envelope?

please let us stop making a mockery of common sense.

The truth is; PDP has absolutely nothing to offer Nigerians, they try so hard to make people believe in some mirage or illusion of progress they are making only in the enclave of their loins.

If Maku is looking for a job, i can help prepare a job description for him, last month BON with NTA as their biggest stake holder failed to secure TV rights for The Nations cup for Nigerians, he should device modalities in his tenure to ensure that such disgraceful situation is averted in the nearest future, he needs not be reminded that with the support of the Ministry of information in Ghana, the whole of west Africa have access to descent free Tv channels.

i may not be the best political analyst but i know when am being taken for a ride, the Good governance tour is one of those roller coasters.

Let me begin by humbly telling you that you are ignorant about the tour, the intent and composition. It is wrong and false to tag the NGGT a federal govt tourist project. For your information, this tour was approved by the National Econ,ic council and was further amended and approved by the Nigerian governor's forum, a position which the chairman of the forum re-affirmed when the team was in Rivers State. We are in a system of a participatory democracy. Irrespective of our political affiliation, we must be patroitic and play according to the rules. Even if Oshiomohle had expressed a dissenting voice to the tour but the fact that his argument was defeated and the tour was unanimously endorsed is why he should oblige. You don't go against emotion that has been won by the majority and superior argument as a parliamentarian just because you were against it , a position which Oshiomohle of all people should have known. Let me bring to your fore that Oshiomohle's argument of fed govt total sponsorship is fallacious and most dishonorable. The agreement between the governor's forum and the pioneers of the tour was a shared responsibility as requested by the team and if Edo State diesn't have the resources to accommodate and feed 120 delegates compriising of local and foreign media outfits, NGOs and civil society groups, then he should have approached and related to the minister politely instead of thes publicity stunts tended to steal the show, a trend he is famed for. But if I may ask, why has Edo state gone bankrupt because I know since after the governorship election, no new projects has been assigned and some others previously approved have been stalled. Could it be that the state treasury was used in executing the governor's re-election campaign?
You believe that the governor's forum hold sway over the Gov. of edo state? what is governor's forum by the way? is it constitutional? that is how you guys smuggle in farce offices to siphon money.
the other time was office of the first lady, two years ago was PDP's internal Zoning formula to apply to all Nigerians? Gosh!! you guys are unbelievable.
Read my fingers; the governors forum has no legal authority over an elected Governor, Amaechi and his other m0r0nic cohorts can hang themselves for all Osho baba cares.

By the way, did the Governor's forum endorse all the Potholes on Amaechi's woji road?
You guys don't even understand the issue at stake. Nobody has called Adams to sponsor the tour. The tour is being sponsored by the FG in collaboration with Governors forum, a group that has Adams as member. The National Assembly voted money for the tour so it should not be as if Maku is relying on Edo tax payers money. But it is the practice that Governors accommodate the minister in the Government lodge and take care of the media men that cover the tour on behalf of print/electronic media houses in Nigeria. This clarification was made by a senior official of the ministry on radio this afternoon.
you seriously believe this thing you wrote? you seriously believe that a serving minister will visit a state Governor and there wont be "thank you for coming" envelopes?

PapaBrowne: And when opportunity comes, without an IDEA on how to utilize it, the opportunity would fade just like Red Hot Charcoal fades into soft ash!!

Ever heard the phrase Success comes when opportunity meets preparation??
For many folks, when opportunity comes, the first activities are any of these four in this order: Electronics, A Car, A land, Start Building a house........and in 1 year Broooooke......with an uncompleted building. That there is the current Nigerian narrative. Unless we change our thinking...... Truth be told... IDEAS RULE!!!!
what do you understand by opportunity? and what is the difference between ideas and opportunities as regards making money in Naija?

Biafra rep: YOU LACK COMPREHENSION BRO, PLEASE GO THROUGH THE PARAGRAPH ONCE AGAIN FOR BETTER UNDERSTANDING. NOW IN LAY-MAN PARLANCE, DANGOTE IS THE RICHEST BLACK MAN YET HE OWES SOME BANKS BILLIONS OF MONEY. DO YOU KNOW MUCH NIGERIA HAS IN FOREIGN EXCHANGE RESERVE?
comprehension expert who made this comment?

Biafra rep: FALLACY! No western country see Nigeria in the same level with Ghana or Togo et al. 1, Nigeria is Africas biggest oil producer and one of the biggest exporters in the world. 2, Nigeria is the most populous country in Africa with a huge market of 170 million people. 3, Nigerias economy is the second biggest in SSA. 4, Nigeria is self sufficient i.e we do not rely on foriegn aid unlike many other countries of Africa. NO COUNTRY IN AFRICA COMBINE ALL THESE QUALITIES! Russia is no longer the USSR super power we used to know, the only thing they have going for them now is huge oil and gas deposits and nuclear bomb. Their technology has become obsolete and corruption there is even worse than in Nigeria.
guess i am dealing with a bigger m0r0n here, please tell us the difference between foreign aid and foreign debt?

Biafra rep: Our debt is insignificant compared to other economies of our size. Besides that is not a criteria to know a country that has good/surplus balance of payments, now if you doubt me check the debt profile of USA and you would be shocked to find out how much they are owing China.
how is your debt insignificant when you first said you don't depend on foreign aid, grin grin grin grin

The sms rate of firstbank monthly is higher than that of GTB with respect to my numbers of transaction with the two banks
I was 3K for GTB token and 2K for firstbank.. But firstbank Charge me #105 per transaction to other bank(When it is less than 500k)
while GTB do charge me #0 for my transfer to other bank.
you could have ignored those people who wish to compare sand with Gar!

PapaBrowne: 10 Million Naira to pay back in one year....Ok let me see what I will do with it!

1)Importation
Nigeria is a consumer country. One of the biggest priorities for the aspiring Nigerian is to build a house.
I will attend a trade show in China, Turkey or Dubai and get direct dealerships from manufacturers that would enable me import unique building materials at very competitive prices. I will rent a warehouse and get the best hands to market these items. Since I have direct dealerships, I will offer the best prices.
To be successful in such a short while, I would have to find ways to offer more value to potential clients than the competition offers. For instance, instead of selling only, we could offer free installation if you buy above a certain quantity.

2)Start a Mid Sized Modern Bakery
Nigerians love bread. Majority of us eat Bread everyday. Infact, if you look at statistics coming out of the Ministry of Agriculture, Nigerians imported almost $5 Billion worth of wheat last year. By any count, Bread is big business.
I would start a 3000 loaves per day bakery. At 200 Naira per loaf, that should see you net a turnover of 600,000 Naira daily = 12 million Naira per month(20 working days). If we assume a profit margin of 20% which is standard, that amounts to 2.4 million monthly. In one year that is N28 Million approx- a profit of 16 million after you return the loan. Might not be this straight forward, but you can make much more or much less depending on you sagacity.

3)Package a cool Nigerian Drink.

Three drinks come to mind.
1)Kunu 2)Zobo 3)Palm wine
Ever wonder how popular these drinks are and yet no company is producing these in commercial quantity. How can we leave these wonderful drinks to the vagaries of the uneducated mind. These drinks would give anybody who bottles them in fine packs a huge income stream. First there would be no competition just like gala had for ages. Secondly, the products are are extremely popular and would sell themselves. Palm wine would do well in the south and the other two drinks would do well up north and a little bit too in the south. Big income earner. The quake though is in fermentation. One would have to overcome the issue with readily available technologies.

4)
5)

7)

I will fill the rest later. I'm tired.
ideas don't make money in Naija, opportunity does,

fm7070: I totally disagree with you.
If you acquire this loan from a bank, won't you pay up in 1year?
Your ideas and knowledge matters most when talking about realtime turnover on investments.
I think that wallie guy is correct, most posters here don't really understand the realistic business climate of Naija.

it can only be useful to someone who has an order like PO with a specified date of payment coming from a credible source. or perhaps an importer who already has orders from customers, outside these

you are most likely gonna default on such loan, the interest rate now may be small but by the time you default, bros, you will bite harder to stay afloat.

the most painful part of defaulting on such sweet loan is the credibility loss, you may be surprised you wont get it when you have a sweet deal

mfm04622: Nigerians and free services mentality. You want quality services but want it free. There is no free lunch anywhere, if you get it free, someone is subsidising you. I hope you know the bandwidths banks need for the internet banking service to work is not free, nor the interconnection services when you need to transfer funds to other banks. You are crying about 105 Naira, haba!!! If you want to take transport to and fro a bank won't you spend more than that?
And you are one of the beneficiaries of Freedom of speech? and you deserve to have an opinion?

so you read everything i ve written so far and you think this is about 105naira. i don't really expect you to be smart but sometimes when some issues are way beyond your IQ, you keep quiet to save yourself some embarrassments.

it may be 105naira and 150naira to you but to me it translates to a very huge amount in the long run, i dont expect you to have the IQ to figure it out.

you think you are rich enough to afford anything your bank doles out to you? this is a true test of financial recklessness, you just proved that you don't have the A,B,C knowledge of making money.

let me tell you a quick story as a reminder,

before gani fahewehimi passed on, he took the federal government to court on more than 18 occasions on policies he believed were anti masses, was he the only Nigerian affected by those policies? was he the poorest or jobless lawyer in Lagos? less than a decade on, we now have come to the reality how well the other citizens who went sleeping fared.

just two weeks ago, a 79 year old man took to the streets to protest the smuggling in of an excess 0f 2billion naira into the 2013 budget at the behest of the first lady, at that age do you think you are better than wole soyinka? do you think you are more accomplished than wole soyinka? do you think the money will be paid into his account? and lastly do you think he is the poorest in this country?

let me give you a clue, the Nobel price as at 2007 was worth 1.5million usd, this price money in its equivalent was won by wole as back as 1986, do the maths on return on investments from that time till date, muddle it up with the fact that he is an accomplished writer who have sold priceless literature. can you qualify that kinda man as being poor?

young man, the reason i presented these facts before you is to give you a little awareness beyond your poverty ideology, i may not be able to convince you why people stand up to oppression because i have no doubt in my mind that you lack the mental capacity to handle it.

about the internet bandwidth you alleged, it is a lame argument but coming from you, i am not surprised, FBN is maintaining the same internet infrastructure of 2012 in 2013 and within the year ended raked in 54.12 billion in profits alone, how does the same internet infrastructure justify the 150% increment?

talking about internet, are you aware that some people before now had little or no need for the internet save for this cashless policy, a daily 10mb on a smart phone is enough to check your emails daily for most people,
do you chose to forget that the bank's internet infrastructure is useless without the customer's infrastructure?

do you think that before now those services were free? i want you to justify the increment not dance in circles.

poverty is a state and only you can decide whether or not to stay in it as for me, i refuse to accept a 150% increment on a service charge without provocation.
Business › Re: First Bank 'First Monie' Mobile Money by jpphilips(m):
Ninapha: my brother there sure has been some changes yet FBN charges remain d cheapest. I know some banks charge over-d-counter withdrawal upto 200 naira, FIP- first instant pay and NEFT charges were adjusted but yet not to compare wit other banks. Payin 300N to tranfer 400k+ or 1000 for a mil is not bad, is it? How much does other banks charge? Some comments on bank charges here are mere rumours.
i don't know where you wanna take your assumptions to but i am telling you for a fact that you are no where close.
why should you be looking at other extortion as a yard stick to justify another, is that how adults think?

i am glad you have admitted they reviewed their charges, my question is this; what justifies that?
what extra liability have they incurred to warrant the increment?

how does extortion consolidate the cashless policy?
if you have the right answers to these questions, you will understand why i am furious.

by October last year, first bank has declared a whooping profit of 54.12 billion after tax. how do you think they make such amounts?
rightly put,its your money.

sorry to get a little personal with you ,how much did you turn over in your business last year? what percentage of your profit went to bank charges for the year 2012?
how many civil and private servants got 150% pay rise last year to justify that onerous increment?

a thief that was charging 47naira just last year with sundry thefts raked in over 54billion as profit, over-nite, reviewed same service charge upwards by 150% without provocation and you think its ok??

why do we Service the CBN with Tax payer's money if we are destined to be living like this?

i pray i don't meet someone with your mentality in my line of business damn!!
