hayoakins: GTB charges as low as 500NGN and as much as 1500NGN for online transfer depending on the how fast you want it cheesy...you select RTGS(real time gross settlement)...your account will scream for the debit charge that would be leveled against itcheesy , some other banks also charge crazily compare to FBN's, i just hope FBN will not do another upward review else i will run for my life sharperly ni wink...am tayad of this financial institutions feeding off my ass

The last time i need to obtain my activation code for online payment from GTB, i had to purchase token which cost 3k, i wish i had gone for FirstBank's which cost just 2000NGN....

Yipeeeeeeeee....i found this online but it is as at JANUARY 2013, i guess it is before Firstbank increase their onlin charges ....see as Banks dey shop our money.....sad oga oh
Is that GTB Somalia you referred to?

Honadeadek: We ought not to be making issues out of nothing when it is obvious that firstBank online banking still remains the cheapest in the industry. Can it be compare to other banks online banking? NO. It is obvious that all Banks in Nigeria charge Commission on Turnover of #5 per mile so I don't except a learned like U to be saying all this.

I have Use their Online banking, Gtb online banking likewise Skye online banking and I can confirm to U authoritatively that FBN charges remains the lowest and the transfers are instant with the benefit out account number confirmation, and records.
let me assume you have not used FBN online service since 11th of feb. i will also excuse your ignorance about GTB, you can call your bankers to straighten your facts

Rexyl: @ jp Philips. If bank(s) should be doing like this I wonder what CBN regugulates, is solving one problem to create another a package for the customers?
if you do heavy transactions, just call your accountants and peruse the bank charges column, you will not believe how much you lose to those thieves.

Rexphobia: I will like to ask you few questions

1. Does any bank charge below 5 per mille as COT?
2. Where does VAT go to?
3. ionIs there any charge on email alerts ?
4. Have you done an industry analysis to compare transfer charge via online...let's say how much does gtb charge for transfers?
5. Don't you think your analysis is one sided? Kindly provide a comparative analysis.
i don't blame you, i blame the corruption for which fate has cursed this nation, you want to sound like all is well, if we had responsible leaders i will not be the one pointing out the difference between service charge, extortion and broad day robbery.

i will answer your questions hoping that you will answer mine at the end of each question.

1) the last time i calculated FBN COT was a whooping 5% deduction, trying to downplay it as 5 per mil whatever that means is a topic for another day, i believe i am not the only customer of FBN, who ever takes his time to do the maths will definitely arrive at the same answer.

now my question, kindly tell us how much interest you pay on savings account?
also how much is FBN fixed deposit cos i nearly lost my voice negotiating 8% per mil on your lousy compound interest.
my banker was busy echoing "cost of funds" yet you pay nothing on savings account and fixed deposit account who generate the said funds.

isn't that day light robbery? how much was your interest rate on loans for this month how much tell us? and how much did you pay the savings account and fixed deposit owners this month as interest?? petty thieves

2) Vat goes to the government, Vat is not an illegal charge, its the way bankers apply it that is worrisome.

if you buy a recharge card of 750 naira, it is inclusive of Vat, MTN renders a call service to you and remits 5% of 750 to the government.

now i deposit my money in your bank, you charge me fund transfer, no wahala, you use my money to make more money for yourself, i don't complain, when i need my money you charge me again for the transfer, charge me COT and then charge me VAT on the COT that you made from my money. this is insane.

now, before you attempt to justify that madness,

tell me why you don't charge me VAT on Sms
VAT on account opening balance
VAT on ATM card purchase
VAT on top ups and bills
VAT on Token purchase
VAT on letter of reference
VAT on minimum and maximum fund transfers
VAT on ATM inter bank transfers
VAT on internet Funds transfer

because in all the above charges you collect from your customers, does it mean you don't remit the required 5% to the Government? please i need an answer.

3) please quote that part of my post that insinuates or implied your question number 3, i never said that, all i said is that your SMS charge is higher than other banks, for a single transaction, you send me three sms sometimes two and charge me for all, ya, im waiting for you to say it is network problem since the system is automated, fine, i also know that every automated system generates a log, why don't you reverse it when the log shows it?

it is more annoying because it fills up my Inbox meant for more important things. little wonder they charged me for happy birthday sms they sent. petty thieves.

4) i use all services of GTB their charges are no where near FBN. i am not holding brief for them because there are times they piss me off with their ATM service, but we must put things in the right perspective,

5) i don't owe you any analysis, instead i will use that time to take my funds elsewhere.

Till date, access bank, aka defunct intercontinental is still sending me lousy text messages to re activate my account when they thought i was stup!d, you can go through my posts to see my inter complaints before i did the honorable.

gonzaga: Hello all, I am personally pleased that someone is bringing up this topic. I am going to address this issue from an informed perspective as this is currently my desk in the bank. Mobile money generally means; banking on your mobile phone. It allows you to send money, receive money, do airtime top-up, bill payments and bank transfers. These functionalities listed are for Ecobank mobile money.

The agents are all those who offer mobile money services outside the banking halls. They could be supermarkets, pharmacy, recharge card vendors etc. The main transactions an agent performs are; wallet cash-in (deposit), wallet cash-out(withdrawal) redeem(unregistered user cash-out). As an agent, you earn commission for all the transactions you do on Ecobank mobile money. Mobile money is available to all those who own mobile phones at no registration cost.

To register for Ecobank mobile money, you dial *326# on your glo, etisalat or airtel. It will take you through an interactive registration process. Once registered, you can effectively do the listed. The fastest selling functionality on Mobile money generally is the air-time top-up. Airtime top-up allows you to top-up your line or send airtime to any other line. Very soon, card production by telcos would greatly reduce and eventually frizzle out. This they say will help them in reducing current call tariffs. This means that all those currently engaged in recharge card business must as a matter of urgency, look for ways to become agents. This will allow them to have a business when recharge card selling becomes obsolete.

If you imagine how the=N=20 call centers frizzled out as soon as the per sec billing was turned on, you will have an idea of what will happen to those currently engaged in recharge card business when mobile money eventually takes root. The agency concept is another way employment can be generated as it affords agents the opportunity to earn commissions.

For further enquiries on Ecobank mobile money, clarifications or questions, do feel free to call me on 07045304537.

The future is mobile, don't be left out!!
Always convinient to skip the charges it attracts

Rexyl: Let's Discuss First Bank Mobile Money(first Monie)

PLs let us hear from you if you have been using this product. They have different categories of agents to help facilitate transactions. You do not need to open account with them to use the service, Everything is processed through your mobile phone and the mobile number becomes your mobile account. You can send money to anyone with mobile phone even if he has not registered, and also very easy to receive cash into your acct or by hand at the First Bank ATMs or from their agents. Aside this you can pay your bills and top-up your mobile credit. Now,

What it takes to be an agent and what makes the categories?

What is the agent's commission?

What is the transaction Charge related to each direction of the transaction?

Let's hear from you
you just beat me to it, i was about opening a thread on this subject matter this morning

FBN sent me a message saying that from 11th of feb 2013, all transfers to other banks below 500k will attract #105 while above will attract #150. it was 47 naira before now across board.

i have not gotten any similar notice from my other banks, which leads me to believe that it is not an across board directive from the CBN.

FBN is trying to set a precedence that will be worse than the ATM saga, we are talking about above 150/105naira multiplied by total transactions per day, this is absurd.

the CBN Gov. convinced Nigerians that the Need to go cashless was permuted to reduce cash transfer risk and logistics charges including cost of printing notes, FBN this month has turned it into an avenue to extort customers.

the internet infrastructure we use to facilitate those transactions are being maintained in part by both the customers and the bank.

this defeats the cashless policy of the CBN and it is more worrisome why the CBN boss is keeping quiet.

if we save money for the govt for printing less cash, cash handling charges, security etc, the least they should do is to charge less on those transactions.because we bear a brunt in the internet infrastructure

for a transfer from an FBN maintained current account, you are charged COT per tramnsaction, charged alert on the transaction(which i have noticed in recent time is higher than other banks), charge you inter bank transfer rate, charge you VAT on COT and sundry vats.

amidst this jamboree on your account, they hardly pay a reasonable interest on savings account.

what the new policy entails is that for every 1,000 naira you transfer from your FBN maintained current account to another bank (after paying for your internet),
you lose another

173 naira, above 10% of my transaction worthhuh? God help you if you transfer above 500k. Now if you dare transfer 1million naira or 500k on POS, kai! your account will squeeze face immediately.

what good reason does first bank have for these arbitrary charges? cost of cash handling over the internet? cost of printing e currency?

imagine charging me VAT on COT? VAT on the money you are making from my moneyhuh shouldn't it be the other way round?
why not charge VAT on SMS charge?

FBN are the latest thieves in town, im putting those accounts on hold pending when those Agbero in Suit realize that making money is not easy in Naija.

the most annoying of it all are salary accounts where you have to transfer to 50staff at a time, the bank charges alone is enough to hire an extra staff. Nonsense!!!

Romance › Re: Disadvantages Of Late Marriage by jpphilips(m):
well...after reading all the post on this thread...here is my view

I don't believe there is anything like late or early marriage, rather one should marry when he/she is financially, mentally stable to raise a family. Now, permit me to say this yoruba adage "bi Taye se yanri, ko ni kehinde se yan tie"...meaning that even though twins were given birth to same day, they may not share the same destiny. So, the issue of marriage has a lot to do with choice, luck and destiny. Its always better to marry early if you meet the right partner and have the financial/mental power to support a family(am sure everyone desire that) but what if you can't find the right person(mostly ladies) as you so desire or you're still struggling with finance(mostly guys), will you kill yourself?(marry the wrong guy cos of early marriage "for ladies" or marry in abject poverty subjecting your children to same thing you went through while hoping things will get better?)

Now a lot will say i don't have faith, and that's where we do get it wrong in Africa hence the level of poverty we are experiencing. We believe one has to raise kids immediately after marriage(no chance to plan before the kids start coming)...so,if you are lucky to have it all at a younger age, pls marry early, its good but if you can't get all you want in marriage on time, wait till you're ready. Don't bow to pressures of age limits...marriage no be beans o.

For ladies who come here to boast they don't want to get married and/or raise kids(but crying and praying in silence cos their time don dey pass, market don dey finish for shop), its a lie. Even though this marriage issue is just about following conventions and societal values, every man/woman want a family of their own, even when they don't admit. If you say marriage is bowing to societal pressure,we all bow to societal pressures everyday...about 70% of the decisions we make in life are not really ours but that which people expect of us,take it or leave it...

Finally, marry early if you're lucky to find the right partner for you and ready(mentally and financially) to raise a family. If you're not ready don't ever rush because of your age, pressures or because your mates are married. The future of the kids you'll produce as a result of that marriage should be your concern,if not people that hail you for marrying early will mock you when things go wrong...if God bless person with money and better wife/husband, marriage sweet o....lol...(law of karmal(my own version) states that ladies/guys that feels they are single and happy will end up regretting at older age....the mam will not have children to inherit his kingdom and continue to bear his name, the women who use themselves for aristo, market will finish in the shop, guys will no longer appreciate it, the need to satisfy sexual urge will be there because the P-point is used to different D-stick...so all the money they collected from the sen, chiefs and alhajis will be paid back to sugar boys to help them brush that thing...isn't that karmal....hehehe...at that stage(45-55yrs),the single ladies of today will be so desperate...their eye go don clear...lol
you nearly made sense till the bold part of your post, i see no wisdom in that. why will you live your life for your children? if you should live and work for them, what do you expect the kids to do?

are you not worried we have a generation of over grown baby elephants whose self reliance are at its ebb? thanks to that mentality in bold.

Sir louis ojukwu made so much money at a young age and before he was in his late forties he was already making money for his children, it wasn't long after his death his younger son Emeka used the same wealth to fight the govt whom his father (the wealth owner) revered. till date his progenies of two generations have not known peace.

outside Aliko who happen to be a subset of the Dantata scion, where are the rest of the Dantata dynasty?
where are the kids and how well have they transformed it to bigger empires?

when i was growing up, i used to think that Ekene dili chukwu is the only man that has the right to Transport business in Nigeria, in my naivity, i convinced myself that the others were working for him, premised on his plethora of luxury buses, today where are they? as much as he has bequeathed them to his children.

much emphasis cant be laid on Abiola's dynasty. in my opinion, i don't subscribe to making money for children or living to see or adore generations, it breeds laziness and acrimony.

what i believe is reasonable you owe your children are thus;

1 decent education to be competitive in the society you have put them forth
2 basic health care plan till adult hood
3 decent accommodation till adulthood not a lifetime
4 save for your burial expenses of your yourself and your wife so that the burden will be off their shoulders
5 teach them morals to be able to differentiate from right and wrong.
6 ensure they have a start off playground

anything outside the above is just encouraging laziness.

why should i wish to marry early to have someone take care of me while i am old? that sounds insane, what becomes of a child who spent the better part of his or her life nursing old grannies? does it mean the child wont have have a choice in life? what if the child decides not to take care of me or perhaps decide to marry early like some people here advocate and face his or her family squarely? or dies early in an accident?

those lines of reasoning are generational blunders that my lineage is fighting hard to abrogate.

a reasonable man should make his son or daughter buy whichever investment he is leaving behind not give it out as inheritance except when he or she is either physically or mentally challenged.

there are loads of examples to buttress how lame that line of reasoning is, why should i be eager to see a grand child, is the grand child eager to see me? what if he is the one that will kill me in the end? what life changing impact does he have on my life?

a wise man lives his life for himself and impact on other people's lives where he can.

it is wiser to sell my company to my son at a competitive price then take the proceeds to charity or some struggling extended relatives, by giving it to him as an inheritance, he wouldn't vale its worth. what motivates him to work hard? where will his inspiration come from?

the Ikwerre as an ethnic group has lost almost 5 generations to this insane mentality, about 5 generations ago, the average ikwerre man, knowing how close they are to water take land as a priceless possession, they operate a form of communism which gives them a unified influence in acquiring farm lands, (the ibos felt a little of that influence in the Abandon property saga.)

less than 5 generations on, most ikwerre people have no regard for land anymore, they can sell their great grand father's lands for pieces of silver, they don't work because the industrialization of their community has presented forth an opportunity to price higher their ancestoral lands.

As early as 7am, men are lying idle drinking beer and targeting the next empty plot to sell, i always ask my self, what if these fathers never left those lands? the children could have been more useful till date. however, there are still some who eke out living for themselves.

bottom line; any sane man will not marry in a hurry because he knows he owes his kids a lot conversely, he shouldn't marry having kids at the back of his mind just to carry on with his name after he is gone, if i will have kids, i need a better reason than that.

i believe where im going to in death must have its own challenges, looking back or struggling to effect change or influence in the world i have left behind is the peak of insanity. if in doubt, what influence do you have in the world we left behind before now?

my post does not in any way undermine family support rather, we as Africans should make a conscious effort to draw the line between family support and encouraging laziness.

i will not hesitate to donate a house to my child who has made a conscious effort to marry as a tenant, also i will not hesitate to donate a land for a child who is making a conscious effort to expand his business, conversely, i will never include any child of mine in a will to inherit anything when himself has nothing at the time of my death.

i agree with the rest of your posts though

Ikenna351: But lets not forget that using the DRL will cost you your car fuel economy. Running headlights when engine is running (daytime or nighttime) will consume more fuel, though not much. Switching headlights on will place load on the Alternator which will cause a drag on the Alternator, and this will make the engine to need and add more power to drive the dragging Alternator pulley, thereby requiring more fuel for the added power using to drive the Alternator. The more electrical gadgets you put on while engine is running, the more fuel the engine consumes. But as for the DRL, the consumption shouldn't be much, I think.

Russia stood with Syria and its president,Bashar al assad, and the West can't repeat the libya scenario in Syria.

Nigeria may need Russia in many fields.and cooperation with both Russia and China is essential to break Western hegemony over Nigeria.our government should not let western influence dictate Nigeria's foreign policy and how we interact with countries hated by the west or viewed as western rivals.

What is all dis sanctimonious nonsense you have just penned that all your ilk here are celebrating?!!! People like you make me sick because you just take a look at someone and condemn then from your high viewing pedestal based on media representation wtf! Just because Goldie lived part of her life in the face of the public being an entertainer doesn't mean she can be trashed for whatever we deduce from her so-called lifestyle forgetting that most of our generalisation about these so-called celebrities are mostly based on assumptions and half-truths. Besides the fact that we found out Goldie was married after her death as well as her celebrated relationship with Prezzo, there doesn't seem to be any other scandal associated with her...now if you would be reasonable and agree with me that in between her so-called 'secret marriage' and dalliance with Prezzo there are a lot of grey areas that we do not understand and perhaps may never know nor is this really any business of ours.In view of the fact that the main man (i.e. her hubby) who should have felt slighted or wronged by this 'adultery' kept praising her really makes me wonder what exactly all this hullabaloo is all about! I believe each and everyone of us should examine ourselves to see if indeed we are living exemplary lives before this castigation of Goldie. For the records, I had no intention of holding brief for her because I could barely stick her while she was alive, perhaps I even said some mean words about her during the BBA episode because she came across as a needy and clingy lady not particularly my type of role model because I mostly admire strong women but this whole ish on her death and lifestyle is just totally pitiful so please let's put some sensibilities into our comments remembering she has loved ones that will be grieving her early demise. Just my 2 cents.
the bold is the part where the poster is worried. if neither you nor the so called hubby took pleasure and "entertainment" in that Adultery saga shows how deranged and morally bankrupt you and the hubby are.

And with the highest delegation, you wouldn't want to risk mutiny
You have the best military in west Africa like West Africa is a militarized region? being the best amongst dogs doesn't make you better.

you guys sent about 3,000 soldiers which is a whole lot no doubt compared to other west African countries, quite commendable, but the sad truth is that the French forces who have captured several cities preferred to work with a paltry 1,300 Chadian soldiers not Nigerian soldiers due to lack of discipline.

at the battle of Gao, headed by the french, we saw them side by side with the Chadians whose role was to cordon off the Algerian border to prevent the militants from escape, the same situation repeated itself at the battle of Konna.

the realistic question is this; what are the Nigerian forces doing in Mali?

A news reporter who alleged that the indiscipline and poor equipments may form a reason for the Nigerian forces be kept at the back bench, On Nairaland,we crucified her saying she is biased, today, we know who is doing the real battle in northern Mali and who is frog jumping civilians in the name of stop and search.

I think this Appointment is a consolation price for our jobless stop and search soldiers in Mali, i implore the president to bring our brothers and sisters home. or perhaps the rest soldiers from other countries are busy while ours are idling away hence the need to make them useful. grin grin grin grin grin
Phones › Re: Open Letter To NCC On Data Bundle Cost by jpphilips(m): 2:55pm On Feb 21, 2013
I have been monitoring closely the events in the telecommunications sector as the most touted successful privatization exercise in the country.

As the euphoria of telephony and mobile internet grew louder, unscrupulous business strategies from the service providers never grew unnoticed, from per minute billing to expensive sim cards to imported recharge cards to poor network quality, hidden charges, dubious promos etc

the NCC on their own part just like any other failed govt agency has done little or nothing to save Nigerians from the hands of these oligarchs.

Had competition not played a fundamental economic role in the telecommunication market, i doubt if we will be singing this same song of success.

Today, the dubious business attitude has taken a new dimension but as expected, NCC in their usual nonchalance has been blinded by the most obvious.

i could remember vividly, when 2g was rolled out in the middle of last decade, MTN sold sendo phones with customized mtn sim cards while Glo was busy with their Alcatel phones.
the big question is this;

if sendo mtn users then were making calls cheaper than other phone users simply because MTN and glo have retail rights to those sendo and Alcatel phones, would it be right?

unfortunately, that same question still applies to our present day Blackberry vs other phone users on the 3/3.5g network.

MTN,GLO and Airtel all have retail rights to blackberry phones which is not out of the ordinary but what should baffle any discerning mind is;

why is there disparity in internet bundle on 3g networks? A 1,500 naira bundle will get almost 3gig of data monthly with MTN blackberry while other phones get as little as 250mb monthly for 1,300naira, some network providers push it to unlimited bundles for their retail phone makes and NCC is mute about this? suffice to say that this discrepancy was borne out of the need for consumers to patronize their retail phones.

i believe the 3g license must have come with terms and conditions, no doubt discrepancies in bundle tariff as it favors network retailed phones was not one of it.

should NCC not take this up with network providers?

how would we feel if sendo users during the 2g era were making cheaper calls than our favorite 2g Nokia and sony ericsson phones back in the days, all in a bid to coerce subscribers to pick up their retail brands?

bobbydbobo: Here's wats happening nd wats gna happen.: The west, under wide nd secretive consultation are looking for an opportunity to burst Nigerias bubble, so they say, let's find a reason to get there, nd like they do wen it comes to other nations, they send a black ops team, for a clandestine operation, they kidnap their own pple, nd play under the pretext that it is boko haram, cos any reasonable man wld biliv that cos that's the most reasonable thing to biliv in the circumstance. Nd then they decide to work with the nigerian govt nd hereby deploy their troops, assert their stations, form a black site somewhere all for what? To monitor our govt, dictate through neo-colonialist means, nd also ensure a free flow of oil for the next American Generation., I said "American gen." because they are our First "friends"in times like that so theyld come up first nd welld welcome them wiv open hands... Ohhh, I love America... Asserting their power cos they are worthy of it..... I'm still waiting for that person who will come here to make a comment nd say I watch too many movies, nd illd laugh at such folly.....
what is wrong with that? When was the last time your Govt came out with something meaningful?

Dee60: Our country needs to be made better for Nigerians. Germans made Germany for Germans to enjoy. Italians made Italy good for Italians. Africans choose to steal their own money and stach them in Europe for Europeans to use to develop Europe. This curse must be broken.
I call this misplaced priorities and outright cowardice, you see, these are the same people that wont speak out when politicians destroy their future. these are the same people that don't want to be shot when we take to the streets in protest yet they are in Italy romancing reptiles, its a shame!!

it is a shame that Most Nigerians have not understood that "for all actions there is an equal and opposite reaction"

the first lady nearly squandered the budget of a community, how many people took to the streets, lemme guess a 70yr old soyinka who is living a fulfilled life was on the street and m0r0ns whose children will end up like these went home to sleep.

we will sleep away our future and by the next decade, we will reap the fruit of sleeping.

how can a Gov. like amaechi with less than 2yrs to vacate office apply for a loan of 120b naira and nobody is talking?

how can we have the temerity to mob a boy who stole "akara" but shy away from a pension rogue maiena? if possible hail him chairman at the airport while absconding with your future, how many people made attempt to stop him?

we felt nonchalant but i tell you what, that malfeasance alone will guarantee the pension of most fathers not paid, their daughters will be frustrated to live in squalor abroad, turn to prostitutes and disease vectors like these ones

so long as we continue sleeping in this country, the worst is yet to come. sleep on!!!!

Ivynwa: I'm speechless at these pictures and still trying hard to believe that girls throw down mattresses in the forest (or do they even live there in the forest huh). Where is the proof that those mattresses were laid by Nigerian girls or they are just writing terrible things and ascribing it to Nigeria as if our country is the capital city of hell fire. Let them remove these disgusting and undignifying pictures from the net and stop connecting the name of our country to it.

How can they snap pictures of a condom dump site and write and ascribe it to Nigerian girls? What shows that that refuse was from Nigerians and not people of other countries? what is the name of the media house that wrote that stuff let me write and tell them not to be connecting Nigeria to their damn rubbish.
if you have been there before, you will have no doubt that majority of the gals are Nigerians.

Sincere 9gerian: The comrade governor should better watch it. Pride they say come before a fall. Like I wrote earlier, he's becoming too arrogant and dictatorial. If he has issues with the bills and proposal made by the minister of information, he could have communicated the minister of information thru the proper channel, rather than making it public.

Rather than have the minister of information idle away in air-conditioned offices in Abuja, I prefer him being in the field. If possible, I would prefer an ENDLESS good governance tour. It also helps to keep contractors on their toe.

It was on this same platform few days ago that the "Eko oni ba je" crew celebrated and praised Fashola for inspection of ongoing projects in Lagos. Why are these same persons now allergic to inspection of ongoing federal projects by the minister of information? This is just one example of the smelly HYPOCRISY we see on this forum.

Also the good governance tour is not just about inspection of projects, but it also provide RARE opportunities for the governors and minister to answer UN-EDITED/UNDILUTED questions from ANYWHERE in the world.

Back to the comrade governor. I recall how the governor threatened to fight the private company that won the bid for the Benin PHCN distribution company just because the company the state govt supported failed. I was shocked to the marrow that the respected comrade governor could behave in such manner. His actions in that respect raised a red flag and I became afraid that this man may not be the 'clean' politician/activist we think he is. The implications of what he did then is that if he was the president he would have manipulated the privatisation process to favour certain interest.
you are better off blind, deaf and dumb god why?

feelamong: When the so called good governance team came to Abia state, they passed a verdict that the clown in power there is doing a marvelous work!

The midget called Labaran looked at Abia people oand said he was impressed with the level of work done in that state.

Is that what the tour is all about? A band of clowns go on a circus and then end up by telling people that their folly has been worth the while! Tufia!!
Did you notice how they avoided port Harcourt road, just peeped through the window at Ariaria took a picture and zoomed away to umuahia,

laugh wan kill me, when they were about posing for a photograph, the minister realized the Huge sign post the loser governor inscribed thus;

"This is a federal road not the responsibility of the state governor"

the slowpoke quickly asked the photographer to face elsewhere if he wants to get a clear shot.

laugh wan kill me. useless people.

A federal road in the heart of your state and Orji is still waiting for Maku to fix it,

Sincere 9gerian: I like governor Oshiomole alot and he's definitely one very popular governor. However, he should watch it because he's beginning to exhibit arrogance and dictatorial tendencies.

I understand the national good governance tour is a programme of collaboration between the FG and 36 state govts (and FCT). I'm surprised the comrade governor now tagged the national good governance tour a "federal govt programme"

After watching some of the live telecast of the national good governance tour in some states, I concluded that we need more of such programmes. On every occasion that I watched the live telecast of the citizens forum, UNDILUTED questions were asked by citizens resident in any part of the world. And the governors and minister of information labour to provide answers to all the questions.

No matter how the comrade governor has performed, there are always issues and problems (some of which the governor may not be aware of) that may require further clarification.

Moreover, democracy is not a one man show. There should be continuous conversation between the leaders and followers. Avenues for such conversation can never be surplus. The good governance tour is one of such avenues for conversation between the leaders and the people.

If the governor can sponsor the camping of national football teams in Edo (which he has done in the past), he should be able to provide counterpart funds to support the 3days visit of the national good governance tour team to Edo state.
English is not difficult my friend, Oshiobaba didn't ask them not to come all he is saying is that he doesn't have accommodation and feeding for 120 people, jeez!!

why should 120 people be going for good governance tour? ask yourself that honest question? you think Oshiobaba is dictatorial, i laugh at you because PDP has ruined your common sense.

are you saying that 20 people cannot do good governance tour?? will oshiobaba refuse if it was only 10 to 20 people? do you know how much each mumu delegate will collect for "thank you for visiting"?

obviously, people like you don't deserve to have an opinion, you deserve to be dumb and only nod your head in approval when orders are given.

All we hear from the federal coffers is waste! waste! waste! first of January they will beg the masses to tighten their belt that there are no resources anymore, once done, they continue borrowing and wasting.

please be guided that 120 people are official delegates, what about unofficial delegates?
