When doctors and lecturers strike why not tell them to go look for other jobs and quit ?

Doctors/lecturers can strike bc they collectively agree to be in a union. And they're professionals, very important to the society, drivers are low skill workers, less important to the government or society. Even danfo drivers strike will cripple Lagos state, than uber drivers strike.
