Interesting development

France has intercepted and impounded a Russian flagged cargo ship suspected of breaching sanctions imposed because of the invasion of Ukraine.

The ship Baltic leader is being held at the channel port of Boulogne. Russian state media says the vessel is owned by a subsidiary of a bank targeted in the recent EU and US sanctions.

The Russian embassy in Paris is saying they'll send a note of protest to the French foreign ministry over the seizure.

The door is still very much open for Ukraine to join NATO if they so wish...the US keeps stressing that every nation has the right to choose its own path - that's freedom, that's democracy

The invasion threat it's still there...Russia still has over a hundred thousand soldiers at Belarus and Ukraine borders In attack positions...I'm reading how some people are condemning the US...some of you just don't understand international politics...if the US had kept quiet Russia would have sensed weakness and likely would have invaded along time ago...the US outspokenness served as a deterrence to Russia ...and don't forget China is also watching (they have similar interests in Thaiwan)
