I hope to be long gone from this world before Nigeria does something as dumb as that...!

Op, who is lying to you that Nigeria can't sustainably feed even twice its population?!!

Last time I checked, this nation still has plenty of 'unfarmed' and uncultivated arable lands across the country... The biggest issues plaguing food production remain:

1. Insecurity: this is the biggest issue.

2. Corruption: every dime donated and apportioned towards mechanization and fertilizers gets diverted by government officials.

3. Government Policies: How many state governors are investing and looking into food production across the nation?

Op, don't ever deceive yourself... Non-GMO lifestyle remains the unarguable best way to live anywhere in this world.
Of course, we can feed our population. But are we currently doing so? Abi you have the solution to insecurity and corruption and other what-nots listed by you?

Sir, please stop misleading people, it is not right, make thunder no fire you.

No one is rejecting GMO crops, it is not harmful anything. Do your due diligence in research before saying some of these things, In Nigeria we consume GMO foods if you don't know.

I didn't even want to go there.

GMOs has so much disadvantages. Not different from chemical preserved food. And they are not healthy for human consumption

Cruz889:

Bro, perhaps you should read on the rise in type 2 diabetes due to genetic modification of wheat producing plant.

WantsandMore:
of course, drought problems require irrigation solutions, yield problems require adequate use of npk and so on. GMO's are harmful. Have you seen the after effect of people eating GMO packed foods in the US? Obesity, heart diseases, metabolic diseases etc
Where is your data that GMOs are behind the rise in diabetes and obesity and heart diseases and what-not? I don't mean hysteria-inducted rants - I want peer-reviewed studies. Or, at least, the opinions of credible scientists showing their workings.

Awesome! Well-done team Airpeace.

Some disgusting tribalist would soon decend on this thread to start spewing rubbish.

Some will complain about the "Isi agu" outfit, others will shout about how their tribe is the greatest.

Ignorant people; they think they can exist in isolation.

If you like be Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, Fulani, Ijaw etc , your tribe alone cannot sustain your business.
We all need each other's patronage to grow.
I thought everyone loved Isi Agu. I'd really love to see a post where someone has spewed anything about it.

He visits and mediates for the enemy of the state. Truth is very very bitter.
Well, it'd be hard to construct a crime out of that. I mean, visiting a known criminal is not a crime of itself unless it can be proved that you aided and abetted the planning or commission of a crime. Asking government to talk a some "enemy of the state" is also not a crime.

To be clear, I'm no fan of Mr Gumi. I believe he's delusional for advocating for negotiations since negotiations have been tried and they failed in the past. I believe the way to deal with banditry is to bomb and shoot them wherever they are.

FreeStuffsNG:
Yinmu. He can run abi escape but can't hide forever.

All Nigeria wants is the requested information details. That's why he was kept in a comfortable guest house, allowed to go for jumat etc and not taken to prison or handcuffed.
He is a small fry but definitely has something on the big fish in Binance and some
influential Nigerians who could be in bigger trouble.

Since he 'escaped' without clearance from Mallam Ribadu then the person(s) indicted is in big trouble that will soon make him or her regret ever being an accomplice. Nigeria will issue a red notice on him and it's bad for him at 38.

So much for the Binance with an 'executive' criminal on the loose like him. Smh.

Now everyone can understand why US govt gave very strict bail conditions to CZ and forbade him from travelling without clearance.

God bless Nigeria for ever! Check my signature for free stuffs!
I see you know the individual in question. Who is he - the 38 y/o guy?

And who is CZ?

What role? From the story, nothing was consummated with the girls. It was an offer that wasn't accepted.

Even if it were accepted, what will the girls know? They have simply been given money to chop oga and chop him well. End of story.
So why did Mr Agunloye award the contract? Anyway, the story didn't say it was "consumated" or not consumated. But we can infer something from Mr Agunloye's betrayal of his country.

OP didn't mention how you asked to go back the way you came so that they can get your arrival on camera.

Took late Dad there when I was still a boy. It changed my perception about some MOG. The only reason he wasn't published was because I sent a threat message, bringing to their attention the likelihood of a scandal, because my Late Dad was a well known Journalist and people will want to congratulate him.

I won't talk much so as not to distort anyone's faith. Truth is, God is omnipresent and ever faithful. If you're able to do a deep soul searching, confess your sins and ask for mercy, He will come to your aid. Sadly, I didn't know this as a boy. Hopefully, my faith would have healed my late Dad.

This post is confusing. Did Pastor Oyakhilome heal your dad or not?

See bro mark my words you will soon hear that government has not cleared foreign liabilities. This government thrives so much in propaganda. Last week airline operators disproved the lie that government has cleared all their backlogs. This government is trying to use propaganda and blackmail to put Nigerians in line.
This looks like a case of half-full/half-empty. CBN says it has paid all verified forex backlog. Some airline guy came out to say, no, it hasn’t settled all airline claims. So, maybe there’s a dispute as to some airline claims. Whatever the case, what seems clear to me is that most of the backlog have been settled and that is having a positive impact on dollar liquidity and, by extension, the economy. I’m neither APC nor PDP nor Labour – just arguing where the FACTS lead.

- Key obidients were trying to hijack the party by trying to sponsor their own into executive positions/leadership of the party
- NLC too are trying to hijack the party
- The original LP (Apapa and co)want the leadership too
Abure has made so much money and is refusing to back down
- Peter Obi is a political prostitute. He can't build his own party neither does he any leadership or conflict resolution skills. He is most likely already shopping for the next party to jump too.

They are all vultures.

Believeintruth:

You have admitted, but the APC propaganda guys are saying otherwise that it was because the expelled Binance, whereas we know that they are defending the naira by pumping USD.
It's a lot of things. I think they've soft-pedalled on the misguided approach of taking loans to defend the naira that there was so much talk about one month or so ago. I have no doubt the fact they've paid off most of their foreign liabilities and the foreign reserves are rising are playing a part in these gains - I predicted this. The unification of the naira will also produce gains. But none of this is close to be being enough - as long as we don't fix security, electricity, and roads, currency stability and double-digit growth will remain an illusion.

Oh, I answered the first one. I'm not saying that they're sensible questions or have the correct premises. I mean, China is, at least in theory, a communist country. So how is the fact it controls its currency news? And who says the CBN is not "defending the naira"?

1. how is that different from what the government is doing right now?

2. are u aware the even China defends its currency against the dollar?
I'm beginning to think this lexy account is a misprogrammed bot. The speed with which it replies and the consistency with which it doesn't process what you wrote but just repeats its previous question are things only a bot can manage.
