Politics / Re: "Reported Release Of Kabiru Sokoto: Hatred For President Buhari Taken Too Far" by Judeoxide(m): 10:32pm On Sep 13, 2016
ddippset:
those who pray night and day for oil price to continue dropping and applaud avengers for every pipeline they blow up are the first to cry, buhari fix the economy we are hungry and people are losing their jobs. those who call the chibok girls a scam are the fist to say buhari promised to bring back the chibok girls but has failed all his promises. those if us who are apolitical know why the economy is like this today.it's simple as ABC, oil is no longer selling, oil prices are low, militancy is at it's peak.Nigeria doesn't produce even a pin, we depend on oil by 90 percent. diversification for 140 million people won't take 1 year heck it won't even take 5 years. but I love buhari, he doesn't even hear the wailers, he just does what he does. the greatest tragedy for the wailers is that they already believe the PDP will come back to power any time soon.lol.
you made a lot of sense... Truely... As a nigerian that truly want whats good for the nation I respect your comment....

But during gej it wasn't like this...economy shot down for two weeks... APC sponsored that... Bola tinubu was I for front for the bring back our girls...this are just few...
I went to my village and saw that some of my cousins were killed... Only for buhari to say that they are Lybian not Nigerians... Seriously you have not been touched... I don't like GEJ AT all he got no balls... But buhari does... And I respect that... How ever he is misusing it... I am an Igbo.. I don't support the movement for biafra, I don't surpot the avengers... And I shure don't like buhari...although I know he is not as dull as ppl think... He will not released such man... Its common sence of reasoning that is lacking in this country... And wost social media

From 9th mile, I borded a luxury bus to jos but actually the bus was for Maiduguri.(young shall grow) Normally those type of bus are new and the drivers are always super experienced..almost close to jos around forest if you just passed hawon kibo, from peoples conversation, its the same place those imsu students were attack and two of them were killed..

Around 3:30am this morning, the driver came to a sudden stop, I wasn't asleep so I peeped right through the middle door from my no5 seat. Ha omo na armed robbers ohh but from my old experience with robers, they only needed money and not more than 5 of them..
The driver changed to reverse geer, and that was when I knew that these guys were not just robbers but something else.
As we reversed they started chasing the bus
They were all having weapons
They are more than 30
They had human sculls as neckless and some put them on there head like a cap
Yes they are totally Fulani that is from there language and dressing
They started throwing stones under the bus to put it to a stop but this driver will not give up... He kept on going back faster than I ever knew a reverse geer can go... Oya come see prayers now.... There were about six Muslims on the bus and all of us were screaming louder than thunder and praying.. Even this Muslims helped to shout holly ghost fire...it was terrible at a point it looks as if the bus will tumble because of the large stones these guys were throwing under.
Macapolo is not just a bus but an extraordinary bus.. I dont know why they didn't shoot because almost all of them have a gun(locally made) They strike the wind screen with heavey metal but to my amazement it didn't break... They trow stones hit metals on the side windows but it didn't break... All this were happening while we were on reverse... These guys have a mission and they do not plan to fail...

The bus staggered so furiously, and I could hear loud noise from scratches and rear light breaking.. This bus has a wonderful shock absorber or balloon as they were called..it will bend like 35degree and still won't fall...

Then my wost nightmare,, the shooting started.. That was when I called home to tell them what was going on. I put it on loud speakers just in case I didn't make it..
Mum and every body at home joined the prayers... My God, it was horrible... This guys kept coming out of the bush like fly's... Each striking hard on the window and tire of the bus..the driver reversed about 1km to be honest befor pulling to a stop...we all ran into the bush not knowing were to go again...but this guys had stopped chasing us as there efforts failed or better,, God intervained..

We later came back after some few minutes and to my amazement... No soul was lost...no tire bust, just scratches, We waited till morning befor hitting the road again...
The security situation around that jos road is very bad...
Thanks to the bravery of that driver and Almighty God for intervening to that situation...
Am now at home but still in shock... I type to warn those that travel at night to be careful... The roads are terrible and dangerous...
I do hope the right authority sees this and do the needful..

Sorry for any grammatical errors I must have made..I am never a good writer but I have to share this experience...

oduastates:
After destroying your country , you turn around and blame everybody but yourself.
The four other fingers are pointing right back.
In 2012 , a friend left the US to pick up a $80,000 desk job in a Nigerian bank doing absolutely nothing.
That exactly is how they wasted the resources not stolen.
There are just too many unproductive activities in Nigeria.

1 40 provision shops on one street when two tax - paying super or hypermarket is more socially useful.

2 Zombie socially useless banks.

3 farmers still using cutlasses and hoes in the 21st century.

4 Useless politicians

5 Dysfunctional and bloated ministries

6 and the worst , a dysfunctional bunch of citizens who spend more time believing in the foreign fables told by their criminal pastors and imams even when they are informed that those fables were repackaged myths from their forefathers
Citizens who would ,rather than pay their taxes, prefer to handover same to those pastors and imams.
Citizens who when confronted with situations which demands they should stand up and be counted , turnaround and say "It is God's will.
Well, it is "God's will" that you all suffer.
Seun did not shout God's will before creating nairaland.
He created something out of nothing . Cocoa farmers in the 60's created something tangible out of nothing.
There are a few people creating something out of nothing .
But those few cannot carry the weight of loafers .
Most Nigerians create nothing but demand everything .
The aging farmers today do not produce significantly enough to carry any weight .
By the way, these dumb celebrities, polithiefcian and hacktivist
complain because the price of their useless Gucci bags and $1000 cocktails have gone up.
Just see them complaining on Instagram from Dubai about how the value of the naira has affected the $50000 tuition fees of their children. The hypocrites are one of the reasons why Nigeria is exactly that way.

NIGERIA IS EXACTLY THE WAY IT IS BECAUSE YOU WANT IT LIKE AS IT IS .
I have even overheard Nigerians overseas missing the Nigerian dysfunction.
there was a post on nairaland yesterday about a slab in the middle of the road .
Citizens did not take it upon themselves to at least move it to a safer place until something is done . It will probably only take 30 seconds and 2 people . Yet , I saw people saying that they almost ran into it .
Does citizenship start when you help accident victims?
I have news for everybody, you and your country are all living beyond your means .
with people like you
I have hope
I only pray your life speaks even more than your words

Everyday of my life, I always think of how to make things better but when ever I open nland... My spirit dies

aaronson:
For some reason, I express myself better speaking in good English. I dislike pidgin because it kills the ability for usage of good English. Some are sweet to the hearing which are- Warri and Benin pidgin.

But

To me, Nothing like good polished English, I listen to your spoken English to determine your level of intelligence, More complex words/terms you know, More intelligent you tend to be.

Pidgin also kills the ability for writing good sentences without using shorthand, And for me, if I get to chat you up as a cute girl and you the type that uses short hand, it kills the vibe for you and you would no longer appeal to me anymore. In the case of a guy, I won't even keep up chat with you unless we talking very important issue.
English is just a language pls its not a measure of intelligence... its just a form of easy communication because the west rules many things...
France, Germany, Spain , Greece and all the non English speaking nations are far greater than the English speaking once... They are even responsible for the science improvement. No wonder why some word in in all the science subjects can't be translated...

Nigeria always looking for a way to feel among
Just imaging using our native language or pigin to teach science... Do you think there will be mass failure..

Do your research.. not many people fail there native language in waec but an outstanding amount fail english
