I was totally bankrupt and was frustrated because I put all my money in one basket, but now things have changed a little, i now mine cryptocurrency and into other business which make me cool cash daily. How do u mine? |

megafaraday: You have nothing to fear bro. The charges are negligible. Trust me on that. The screenshot is from a withdrawal I made. I withdrew $225, $0.11 was the charge and $0.01 VAT Wow very fair! Cool So my next question is wat are their rates for fixed deposits |

Acidosis: Fixed deposits attract only 10% Withholding Tax (WHT) on the interest earned. Transfers and withdrawals on a dorm account might attract some charges though. My fear is this part "Transfers and withdrawals on a dorm account might attract some charges though" It will be very painful after fixing for months and getting some cash only to be having a loss when withdrawing finally |

ahiboilandgas: diamond 2 percent ,take your time and make enquires it the little effort needed ...like me I hid mine in piggy bank ,dorm in standard charted and some gold bars kept in bank safe ....u might not necessary convert all your tb position u can kept some ,use interest to buy usd from aboki and deposits in dorm. Buying Usd from aboki or from bank which is more expensive? Again converting Naira or Transfering Naira from ur saving/current to Dorm account too Above all which is cheaper |
Investment › Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by jujutom(m): 5:54pm On Nov 16, 2018 |
Acidosis: No interest rate, unless you invest that money in fixed deposit. You can ask if they offer fixed deposit investment in foreign currencies. Just do 30 days and continue to reinvest your capital with the interest every 30 days to avoid stories. You won't get same interest rates with longterm (6 months, 1 year) investors though.
Buhari may still triumph at the polls and, in fact, he won't just relax especially as elections are approaching. Economy might improve. Cool! Now if for example 1 have $1000 fixed in a dorm account with GTbank for a month or two and lets say d interest rate was 1% or less.... if i was to redraw all the capital and the interest after the ending of the tenure, wat are the charges ontop? Will the charges remove the supposed interest dat was incurred before? |

emmas2k570: I also notice the decrease but i guess the amount decreased is usually added to your principal and reinvested..... Just a guess though, wait for update from those with much experience shaa..... Yes! You are very correct! Once in a week or in 8days Stanbic mmf removes part of your interest and adds it to your principal amount compounding the money.... This is reinvested giving you better profits Most MMF wait for 3months before doing this |

Nnamz: Initially I was going to ignore you because this question shows you haven't read previous pages of this thread. I'm just gonna answer it so that other lazy Nigerian youths like you don't repeat the question.
When you invest for 55 or 90 days at 10%, YOU ARE NOT GETTING THE FULL 10% for that investment. Divide 10% by 1 year (0.10÷364 = 0.00027). Times the result by the number of days, 55 in this case. That would give you 0.015. That means you're getting just 1.5% of that 100,000 investment.
A guy here said he read the first 300 pages of this thread. I did similar thing that is why I can say I know so much about tbills, not from reading a book or not because I work at a bank, but because I spent time here reading previous pages of this thread. PLEASE YOU GUYS SHOULD STOP ASKING QUESTIONS THAT YOU WOULD FIND THE ANSWERS TO IF YOU TOOK 20 MINUTES TO READ PREVIOUS PAGES OF THIS THREAD. ALSO ENOUGH WITH THE FIGHT. IF YOU ARE NOT HERE FOR INVESTMENTS, LEAVE THIS THREAD BEFORE YOU MAKE REASONABLE INVESTORS HERE LEAVE BECAUSE OF YOU. Looolz thanks for the summary |

Plz Please i have a question Isnt it better to invest on Tbills on a short tenure twice or more than to invest on a long tenure once ? Example.... 55days or 90days at 10% than 210days or 360 days at 13%....? Like 100k for example.... for 55days u can get ya 10k 3x and make 30k in 165day (55days x 3tyms) unlike doing 360days which is jst 13k?
Plz if i am wrong correct me just tinking out loud thanks |

lgboks: How do I calculate daily interest for stanbic ibtc mmf. I know their daily score is about 11%. But I still don't get how to calculate their daily added interest. I was calculating 11% of 40000 = 4400 Then realized am greedy Looolz.... dat 11% is per year... so per month is like approx 1% which will translate to 90-100 per day depending on how much u hv |
