Tbaby4real: Good morning all, I hope you are all doing great with your Lo?So, it all turns out to be bad news..... We were told our twins stopped breathing. Doctor can't explained what went wrong.. They keep saying they are sorry. We started buying their things already and this is happening, I don't know if God is still alive or on vacation. I taught nothing can stop His work. My dh can't get over it, doctors are so scared to let us home cos we could do anything to ourselves. Don't know how to deal with this, it's just too much for me....... They both measured 14 weeks and 4 days, it means they both died yesterday. Hmmmm

My dear,dis is how I stopped my breast milk frm flowin.I stopped breastfeedin&bought these big strape bra.Dr said I shld make it tight as in set d strape 2b tight so dat it'l hold back d milk.I was takin ibuprofen 4d pain cos paracetamol was 2mild&d pain was drivin me dunzo.I reduced fluid intake as in water,malt,minerals&so on.My dear,I didn't even notice wen d bosom milk dried up but within a wk,I was free of bosom milk.How's ur baby&d feedin habit?Hav u taken her 2Onitsha?Goodluck.

imurboss: @Julicoka,i dont think u need to put on bra because the more u put it on the more it gets hard and wont allow the milk flow out.So here is what i was advised to do,i used ori to rub it (not the n****le o),dont wear bra and u will see it flowing out freely then just take some pain killers,probably paracetamol and u should be fine.U can give it a try,that's what i did.Hope it helps

omogemi: i took her to her pediatrician today for him to see d rash and it was comfirmed measles. i was told hers' is quite mild. she was given inj and drugs (pcm and i think Pedesolone- dont knw if i got it ryt) and told me to complete d amoxil i was given. but d inj part i asked d doc why she was given and he said its to help prevent pnemonia and eye and ear infections which measles can cause. a friend of myn said i shouldnt have let them give her. i wonder why afterall i m not a doctor. na make my baby dey kampe.

Jade William: Ur boo is lik myn.He said he doesn't want 2feel guilty at d long run so no FP.My gynae explained evry method one by one&d possible side effects.At 1st we agreed on condoms but then he said it kills d fun dat wen he was single,he was condomizin so y wud he stil condomize wen he's married so We settled 4withdrawal too but evrytym,I'l b so scared cos I'l b lik wot if a tiny soldier entered unknowingly?I'l spend hrs in d bathroom cleanin up as if dat can prevent anythng is d soldier found its way in.Then d anxiety of countin days 2my period&s**t.Evry mth,I get so scared.May God help women indeed

k4kenny: Yeah breastmilk is important, but some babies over indulge in it. Your baby sounds exactly another I heard of. His mother was fed up cos he was always crying and losing too much weight. At abt 10 mos they had to stop breastfeeding. It was difficult cos he cried a lot. Afterwards he started eatin everything they give him. Even his mama tire sef .
Its not gonna be easy but it may be time to stop b/feeding her. You've been at this for months now, you've really tried.
