The Comptroller-General of Customs, Col. Hameed Ali (rtd), has ordered the immediate removal of rice from import restriction list and the re-introduction of import duty payment at land borders. The Public Relations Officer of customs, Mr Wale Adeniyi, made this known in an interview in Abuja. He said the restriction was only applied at land border stations before now, adding that the customs boss had lifted restriction on rice at border stations. Adeniyi said that all rice imports through land borders by rice traders would attract the prevailing import duty of 10 per cent with 60 per cent levy. He added that rice millers (preferential levy) with valid quota allocation would also attract duty rate of 10 per cent with 20 per cent levy on rice importation. “Over the years importation has been restricted to the seaports because border authorities have found it difficult to effectively monitor and control importation of rice. “When the decision to ban it (rice) was taken it was not an effective measure because smuggling of the product thrives with people using different means of conveyance including small trucks, bicycles and even animals – putting them on donkeys and some actually carry it on their heads. “These new measures will be for customs to re-organise their anti-smuggling operations in the border areas and ensure that all those importers through the borders bring their rice through approved routes and pay their extant duty.”

Are you one of the sons of God?

Do you really show true love to all or to only ones that can return your kind gestures?
As sons of God, don't you still keep grudges against people?

These and many more attributes of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ are what the creation is waiting eagerly from sons of God to reveal to them.

Yes, it is true. God loves all including the atheist despite all the odd words they do speak against HIM.

It is a known fact that engine, whether new or fairly used ones have to be serviced periodically to serve longer. However, despite all the cares given to engine of any type, it will eventually breakdown beyond repair.

Now, let observe the heart which is the engine of all human being. It is worthy of note that the hearts of many of us have been beaten for so many years and will continue to do so. Unlike the common engine which work for some few hours per day, the heart works round the clock  24/7.

Is not wonderful?
Is it not a miracle?
Is it not a misery?

In fact, it is awesome and worthy to be praised of.

Now, the question is this, who did it, I mean who created the heart?

God almighty, the Greatest of the greatest created the hearts and supplies 24/7 power to the heart. That is one of the reasons HE never sleep nor slumber.

Now, you will agree with me that GOD loves the atheist.

There are many people who are struggling on the inside. When you see them, they appear alright but they have troubles, fears, worries, anxieties and depression. Jesus is calling you to come to Him. He wants to remove the yoke that the devil and His agents have put on you. He wants to uproot every plant that He has not planted in your life. He wants to deliver you from the burdens of this world that cause frustration and depression. However, you must submit to Him before He can be of help to you. It does not matter how far you have gone into the world of sin, Jesus is calling you to come. There is no sinner without a future and there is no saint without a past but in Jesus everything becomes new; "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." 2 Corinthians 5:17 One finds peace and rest of mind by understanding that his sins are forgiven by the grace of God through the blood of Jesus that was shed on the cross of Calvary, because where there is no shedding of blood there is no remission for sins. You can cast all your worries and anxiety on Jesus; it is part of your redemption right because all those troubles have been exchanged for peace through His death. However, you must know that the glory of God is His holiness. His dwelling is in holiness. His way is holy and the invitation to us is not an invitation to lawlessness but an invitation to holiness. PRAYER POINT: There is no sin that is beyond the redemption at the cross.
