Christians must and cannot dictate how we dress or look. We all know this Islamaphobia is orchastrated by CAN in order to morally corrupt our muslim ummah. We will resist this. Time to hide and bide is over. Like it or not, the new norms governing how schools in Nigeria treat muslims are being established now.

Why can't you fight for this in a better way rather than sowing the seed of hatred among innocent students. Stop acting like illiterate literate .

I am a very shy person and a very private person. My boyfriend introduced me to this Forum and we are both addicted but he made me make him a promise never to bring out matter here for any reason, but I am about to break that promise because I need help.

I have dated him for 6 years, 3 abortion and borrowed him 7 million naira all he has not accounted for. The last job I got for him with my dads contact I don’t know the drama that happened between him and a staff and he got fired, I had to give him money to start a business. He has engaged me already but I am getting uncomfortable. What got me worried was last night when I told him I was pregnant again and he asked me to abort it, I was so upset and he said that if he takes me to his parents with Pregnancy they will see me as a slut. I refused bluntly this time and he insisted by saying if I keep the baby he will dump me and marry another person and he swore on his life.

Nairalanders leaving him is not the issue, the issue, how do I get my money back. Over 7 million naira. I don’t have a salary, we do joint account and I can’t even brag of 50k of my own. I know he will read this message, so I want people to judge this matter. As for the baby I will keep it, but am scared of being a single mum.

Firstly ask God for forgiveness for the abortions you have done before. Thank you for resolving not to abort this. Worry not about being a single mother, so far you are happy and secure. About your money ask him in love and see his reaction, if he acted violently, keep mute on it and involve the police. Remember your safety first. God will see you through. Take care.

I'm sorry if I sounded too harsh, but think of your child having his/her best friend to be a christian, can you imagine the level of hatred this can create between them. I think in this part of the world with the high level of literacy and valued culture the two religion groups should live in love.

These muslim parents have successfully sown a seed of hatred among these innocent students. This religion should be abolished if possible, though I have so many reasonable ones among them.

This very wrong ruling by the judge makes a mockery of our Sharia system.

A fatwā is a religious ruling simply because it is based on religious scriptures and not the judge's personal sentiments.
And based on the Quran,the Sunnah and my ijtihad, this lady is guilty of blasphemy which is punishable by the previous judgement given her.

Well, unless the judge is emotionally attached to her, I don't see the rationality behind this judgement because Pakistan is an Islamic country.

This is unfair nah. Where is gender balance in this?. This must also be applied to men too if population control is going to be effective.

I am saddened and miffed at what I witnessed first hand today in Kaduna. In a twinkle of an eye hundreds of ‘Muslim’ , young unemployed, highly drugged, fiercely looking, wielding assorted crudely fashioned weapons were swarming all over the streets looking for innocent Christians to slay, decapitate and murder. This is the ‘Muslim’ part of Kaduna.

On the other divide of River Kaduna, several innocent Muslims passing through Kaduna were mercilessly hacked to death by angry bloodthirsty ‘Christian ‘ youths.

As my driver weaved his way through side streets and shanty alleys to avoid these hoodlums who May attack us at the slightest opportunity, not minding my being a fellow ‘Muslim’, I was fortunate to pick up Mr Martins, a Christian, who happens to be a pharmacist operating his pharmacy a street away from my house. Looking like a fish out of water, suddenly Martins is on ‘Enemy’ Territory, with a 50-50 chance of either being killed or maimed. Arriving home safely may be an exercise in futility.

Fortunately, with the help of a police friend we took martins home in one piece. However, coming out of where is now our ‘Enemy’ territory’, the Christian part of Kaduna, we witnessed a replica of the same scenario. Killer youths armed to the teeth looking for Muslims to slay.

Back home, my three year old daughter Hanifa, is grueling me with questions asking me why she can’t go to school on Monday. I told her there is a curfew and she asked me what does a curfew means? I said its a kind of holiday, she asked why should there be a holiday suddenly? I told her it’s from The Governor and she asked why should the Governor give holiday on Monday. I reluctantly said there is a fight in town, and she looked me in the eyes and said ‘Baba why should people fight? Don’t they know it’s wrong? Don’t they know I will be going to school tomorrow?’

And she started crying!
I hugged her, with tears in my eyes lost of all reasonable explanations. This is the country we found ourselves in. This is our sad reality. This isn’t the first crisis I witnessed. I have lost count. I have lost friends and acquaintances. We should consciously elect capable, sincere, competent, reasonable and HUMANE Leaders in the coming elections who will address this monstrous country in a just and equitable way and manner.

I'm am seriously lost for words. We simply don’t deserve this savagery. We have become beasts, heartless, barbaric and cruel. People who profess religion but are faithless.

This country called Nigeria needs a total overhaul.....pi

You don't have to hate Mathematics. How can anyone hate Algebra, given its application in life situations. Maths is not a subject to hate. Most people who find maths difficult probably had a shaky foundation or a wrong mindset towards the subject. For me, maths is logical and one of the simplest subjects.

We are working on a project to get people who are very knowledgeable in maths to simplify secondary maths curriculum topic by topic. The materials would be available for FREE on Q and A App in due course.
