Unfortunately we just have AK47s. I fear that Iran may send their unman drone to bombard anywhere and every where in Nigeria. So we need serious goverment to invest heavily in weaponry. I pray we have that kind of goverment one day. We suppose to be producing our own weapons. |

LagosShia: an iranian official,Amir Al-Mousawi, speaking on aljazeera arabic, denied that the weapons were destined for Nigeria.he said the containers were on transit to another west african country.he said iran is not obliged by UN security council resolutions banning the country from exporting weapons.he also says that iran supplies not less than 50 countries with light arms like the ones confiscated in Lagos.he said there are members in the Nigerian givernment who want good relations with Iran and another faction that works against relations with Iran.he further stated that Iran is not intimidated by the UN security council. Probably the weapons are for another country |

Mr President should please dissolve EFCC its just a very useless agency. We are just wasting our money funding this paper tiger agency. If we are serious on really fighting corruption let have somebody like General Buhari as the head of EFCC, there will be great and good result. Mr president is not really like to reduce corruption. The aides of these governors identified should be arrested and jailed, so when the governors terms expires they should be arrested also and sentence to long time in jail. Anyway election is coming Mr president needs these governors. Nigeria politics. |

Not only have I been in Ife, but I have stayed there several times, one side of me is from Ilesha and before the new road was done, I always passed through Ife, infact, I used to stop in Ife for a few hours before proceeding to Ilesha, also, a younger brother got married in your ife as well and when I was much younger, I lived in ife for about a week, so dont go telling me that I have never been to ife. Your Ooni should take a cue from the Oba of Lagos on how to help develop a place, if the people of Imo state could contribute to build an airport themselves, Ooni with his connections could have brought greater development to his people. The RCC where he is a shareholder handled the Ibadan - Ife - Ilesha road, that road did not last a year before it started giving way, please try driving on that road today, you will know the devil lives there. I do not care for the traditional rulers as I feel they are leeches on the people, but your Ooni is the worst of the lot. Bola Ige was harassed in his Palace, he is insisting on Omisore being then next Governor of Osun state whether the people want him or not, his palace has turned to PDP office and the last election was massively rigged in Ife, we are the people on ground and we know what is happening. He has always caused commotion in the State council of Obas, always insisting to be the permanent head when there are Obas who are more than his equals on the council ( abi you want to compare your Ooni to the Owa Obokun of Ijesha land, make I give you small history), when he was in Oyo state, it took the intervention of the Governor Sasaenia to quell the issue because the Alaafin was giving your Ooni some history lessons, please ask from your elders if you were not born then. Oba of Lagos is a shiny example of how a yoruba Oba should be. |

Most of our traditional fathers are also POLITICIANS. They are more concern about their pocket. This is the main problem we have in yoruba land. |

It's not proper to start a thread just to cause confussion here in our religion. It think the best is to make contributions and express your view on issues. Or form thread to educate us on our religion but not to divide us. If you are trying to convert people to shai islam here, forget it you are just wasting your time. This is not a forum for that. Open your eyes man, what we need is unity but not to be divided. What is the gain of shai-sunni problem in Iraq, Pakistan and others? |

Thanks for the information. The Importance of Bismillahirrahmanirrahim !!! Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) has said that on the day of judgement there will be some people who will have to go to Jahannam (Hell) because of their bad deeds. However, from these people, there will be some who had the habit of saying Bismillahirrahmanirrahim (In the name of Allah, the beneficent the merciful) before they did anything or entered anywhere. Thus, when they will be taken to Jahannam (Hell) by the angels, they will be very sad but they will say Bismillahirrahmanirrahim (In the name of Allah, the beneficent the merciful) Allah will tell the angels - "STOP". Allah will tell them that He cannot let someone who says Bismillahirrahmanirrahim (In the name of Allah, the beneficent the merciful) calling Him Rahman and Rahim enter Jahannam (Hell). http://www.123muslim.com/hadith/12495-importance-bismillahirrahmanirrahim.html |

Ayatullah: So far there is no evidence that the blessed Islamic Republic of Iran has any intention destabilizing Nigeria, Iran's arch-enemy, Israel has confirmed that, so what is the problem with those making unreasonable noise?
Nigeria should tread cautiously, a good step has been taken by reporting to the UN, any other hasty and unfriendly step is very risky for Nigeria, if we cannot handle Okah's MEND, how can we handle the anger of the dreaded Hizbullah? Better stop making noise and let us be diplomatic. |

Sellers and buyers who spoke to NAN attributed the high patronage, in spite of its cost, to the fresh appearance, smooth skin, size and taste. Our local farmer should be dynamic and plant improved species of banana. This shows us that our bananas are not acceptable in international market. The goverment is failing these poor people. The goverment supose to be doing research and provide improve species of bananas and other kind of plants that are acceptable internationaly, so that the farm produce of our farmers will be able to compete internationally. |
Celebrities › Re: ‘i’m Sorry To Say, But 2face Is Empty’ – Sir Shina Peters by juman(m): 1:31pm On Nov 12, 2010 |
ElRazur: Here we go again. The younger ones who have no idea about History of Music in Nigeria having a go at an established and almost Legendary musician.
Shina is been around for a like forever, when people like him talk I will think he's got a few valid reason for saying so.
Shina have had the women, the life, the fame and what not so when he is speaking I think people need to ask why is he saying that. Pardon me if am wrong, but is it not Tuface that have 5 "baby mamas" or something? NOt to take anything away from Tuface, he is considered talented and I respect that too.
I do not know the in and out of the interview, so if anyone have a proper link to the interview then one can try and see what shina is saying. I have a feeling things may have been lifted out of context. Or Shina is translating his thoughts across very poorly (English was never his strong point)
Funny how a few people described him as irrelevant. This guy in a documentary on Music in Africa is labelled as one of those who shaped music in Nigeira from the 90s era. (Even though he's been influential from the 60s and 70s, but that one na another story) True deep down, he is empty? Yet he has been able to pour the thing into how many women? How can that one be empty? |
