When I was in secondary school a man accused of stealing a student manhood.

A young man in his thirties and was really surprised and confused of the accusation.

Why do you think we dont have Regional government today? Its because when Gowon came to power, he abolished the 4 Regions that existed and replaced them with 12 states. Subsequent military rulers from the North kept sub-dividing those 12 states until we had 36 states.

It was a well calculated move by the North because unitary system favours the North, while Regionalism favours the South. The unitary system we practice today allows the North to maintain its political control of Nigeria

Nigeria will never restructure or return to Regional system because the North will never allow it, the current system favours them
