ROSSIKE: That's around $10 million. Quite an amount if you ask me. Especially as he was supposedly struggling to pay for registration. About $5 million. Land he has in the village also included like farm etc. Try to read again the declaration of yaradua and jonathan done in 2007, you will get how they estimate things. Anyway the news may even be a false one. The vice president would worth more than one billion naira or even couple of billions. He is a top guy in his field. |

DONMAYOR19: that's call IGG-innitial gra gra, now he really want to stabilize world cassava price. The bolded reminded me of one agric policy of obasanjo on cassava I think in 2002 or 2003. The then pdp chairman (chief audu ogbe) was the head of committee or something on cassava. There was a lot of talks on cassava. The government said the country can get a lot of money from cassava, but soon later there was problem between chief audu ogbe and obasanjo and all the promises on cassava by the government just went down the drain. The government was too unserious to continue their activities on cassava thing. Despite obasanjo is a farmer himself he did nothing sensible on agriculture in his 8 years in government. Who knows may be this one nigeria may never be a good country. |
Politics › Re: My Government Will Focus On Agriculture Not Oil – Buhari by juman(m): 6:06am On Jun 06, 2015 |
nigerian governments are always too unserious and too useless to do anything right. Hope this government would do things differently.
But apc governors do not like agriculture, probably apc as a party does not believe in developing agriculture. |
