Cursed.

nigerian "leaders" are not capable of building a sensible country from day one of this country.

nigerian people never belief in police. The problem will be escalated, people will be protecting themselves when the system has failed them.

The main job of national assembly members is to be check and balance to the executive (president) by doing the oversight function.

But since 1999 national assembly has been a great disappointment. Corruption increases, the president fails to implement the budget, the nation is not moving forward, everything is becoming worst and worse, the poverty and sufferness increases. It became almost impossible for common man to believe in nigeria.

This is clearly not feasible. The report says 124 million Nigerians are extremely poor and the programme is aimed at such class of people. Someone should help me calculate the monthly and yearly cost of this programme please. Government should rather channel the money to developmental programmes pls.
The government cannot pay that kind of money. Government dont have that huge amount of money. The country where governments cannot pay workers salary.

nigeria is a destroyed country.

He expressed dismay that with the huge natural and human endowments in the country, the most recent World Economic Forum’s Report on Global Competitiveness Index (GCI) 2014 -2015 ranked Nigeria 127 out of 144 countries.

“This is in comparison with many other countries in Africa, ranking higher including Mauritius – 39, South Africa – 56, Rwanda – 62, Botswana 74, Algeria – 79, Kenya – 90, Zambia – 96 and Ghana – 111. Similarly, the World Bank’s Report on Ease of Doing Business Index ranks Nigeria, 170 out of 189 countries surveyed”, he noted.

On the electricity the government should seriously also consider generating electricity from coal. Even this country can generate all electricity needed from non gas means.

Now, we have a new Commander-In-Chief, who happens to be from Katsina, your home state. Since Buhari took office, Boko Haram appear to have stepped up its activities. What is your recipe for ending insurgency in Nigeria?

My advice to Mr. President is to retire all officers from the rank of Brigadier General. They have no use in Nigerian Army, because all of them have been feeding fat from the insurgency and it won’t be in their best interest to end it. If President Buhari will take my advice, let him look for a very capable Lieutenant Colonel and appoint Chief of Army Staff. Afterall, Gowon, I think, became Chief of Army Staff as Lt. Colonel. Several officers- Usman Katsina, Obasanjo, Benjamin Adekunle and others- were GOCS as Lt. Colonels and performed excellently well. What rank was Ojukwu when he led Biafra to war? Most of the Generals we have today have so politicized the military that there is little room for professionalism. They are businessmen and want to compete with the Dangotes and Ibrus. Let Buhari begin by flushing them out.
@ the part bolded.
Some of those men the guy mentioned are the ones that reduced the level of indiscipline in the country that affect the army and all other facet of lifes and make the country became destroyed.

This country was ruled and ruined for more than 35 years by the military generals.

- johnson aguiyi-ironsi ruled from: 16 January 1966 – 19 July 1966.

- yakubu gowon ruled from: 1 August 1966 – 29 July 1975.

- murtala mohammed ruled from: July 30, 1975 – February 13, 1976.

- olusegun obasanjo ruled from: 13 February 1976 – 30 September 1979.
- olusegun obasanjo ruled from: 29 May 1999 – 29 May 2007.

- muhammadu buhari ruled from: 31 December 1983 – 27 August 1985.

- ibrahim babangida ruled from: 27 August 1985 – 27 August 1993.

- sani abacha ruled from: 17 November 1993 – 8 June 1998.

- abdulsalami abubakar ruled from: 9 June 1998 – 29 May 1999.

Those are the military generals that were trained to die for their country, but instead they ruined the same country. The country that gave them everything they have.

Those people that deliberately ruined this country, the country that is blessed by God with every resources. Those people forgets that one day they will surely meet their God.

It appears that this country's people would be better off if the country is divided. A country that has less than 4k MW in 54 years.

Director of the OPD, Mrs. Omotola Rotimi, told our correspondent that the children were victims of transferred aggression but that the severity of the cases has warranted that the fathers be charged to court.
The children were victims of transferred aggression.

Those fathers are most probably in bad economic situation that caused why they were very angry.

This is a country deliberately destroyed by few people as if they are not nigerians themselves.

Zimbabwe dollars phased out

Zimbabwe is phasing out its local currency, the central bank says, formalising a multi-currency system introduced during hyper-inflation.

Foreign currencies like the US dollar and South African rand have been used for most transactions since 2009.

Local dollars are not used except high-denomination notes sold as souvenirs.

But from Monday, Zimbabweans can exchange bank accounts of up to 175 quadrillion (175,000,000,000,000,000) Zimbabwean dollars for five US dollars.

Higher balances will be exchanged at a rate of Z$35 quadrillion to US$1.

The move has been “pending and long outstanding,” central bank Governor John Mangudya said, quoted by Bloomberg.

“We cannot have two legal currency systems. We need therefore to safeguard the integrity of the multiple-currency system or dollarization in Zimbabwe.”

Zimbabweans have until the end of September to exchange their local dollars.
